"Nice , upmarket hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Shower wasn't properly sealed and let water out in the bathroom which was a bit annoying. The hotel has a good gym and swimming pool. Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed for one out of our two day stay because they had to clean it and they didn't let us know in advance which was annoying too. Good breakfast"

"Awful air conditioning undermined an otherwise very good hotel.  It's astounding how bad the air conditioning was. It ran for hours are barely lower the tempterature. It never got below 25 Celsius. I arrived and the room was hot. The windows barely open. After hours of running the air conditioning, which is rather noisy, I gave up.  The staff was great. And room was otherwise good. But at this price, and positioning itself as a top hotel, useless air conditioning in hot weather (and it wasn't even the hottest time of year) is not acceptable."

The hotel is warm and comfortable, clean and tidy. The disposable toilet seat provided free of charge is of good quality. I asked the waiter for a few more, which I can use for the next trip [grin]. There is a night market 10 minutes walk from the hotel. I didn't expect that there would be many people in Xining's night market in winter. There are many kinds of snacks, small accessories, daily necessities, clothes, shoes and hats [grin] The hotel is good and I will stay there next time"

"Good hotel, very modern and clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful. For the price it's great. However, we couldn't enjoy the breakfast much as it starts at 7:30, which is already fairly late for a hotel, and by 7:40 not even half of the breakfast was prepared and we had to leave, would have liked to try it especially considering it was included in the room and what we ate of it was fairly tasty. The curtain behind the bathtub doesnt sit in line with the wall so there is a bright light throughout the night from outside. The hotel was a bit difficult to find especially finding the Correct parking area for the building. The elevators are shared elevators and took over 10 minutes to go up to the 25th floor . And took 5 minutes of waiting to go down one floor to the reception, before we decided to take the stairs(which are very dirty) Apart from the above the hotel was very good and comfortable, clothes washing facilities were clean, coffee in the reception, and a cool fish tank along with very friendly helpful staff."
