Top 5-Star Hotels in Jeddah

The staff is fantastic and humble specially Mr Fares. What really motivated me to write this review is his hospitality and humble nature. My colleagues and i was the only vegetarian in the hotel and there was no options for vegetarian in hotel buffet. So we requested Mr Fares that we can't have this can we have something in vegetarian and he accepted the request and asked the chef to prepare something for us. And later on he kept on Asking about our well-being. Mr fares and his team members really made our stay comfortable. I really appreciate him for his wonderful hospitality. ☺️

I must commend the hotel for maintaining the highest standards of service over the many years (20) I have been staying there on business. A lot of this is down to the dedication and attention to detail provided by the staff - especially those who have loyally worked in the hotel for years. I want in particular to highlight the personal attention and service that Mr Aslam provides not just to me but to every customer. He is a real ambassador for the hotel. A star!

The hotel was graeat. Close to city center. The food very good. The staff very helpful and kind (esspesialy MD ARIF) the room very clean and tidy. The atmosphere of hotel was perfect. Thank you for nice time.

This hotel was probably great 20 years ago. Now it is an exercise in frustration. Here’s a few examples of why: 1) The basic facilities are not reliable. In the first 3 nights of staying there, I had one boiling hot shower (no cold water) and two freezing cold showers (no hot water) 2) The wifi drops out all the time and you get a 1-2MB bandwidth which is a struggle if you’re doing video calls 3) The additional amenities like gym, pool, sauna etc are a mess. The jacuzzi and sauna have been abandoned from what I could tell. The gym has no air conditioning so once I was doing any exercise I was just pouring with sweat. It must be over 30 degrees in there 4) The service level is way off. I spent 25 minutes trying to buy a coffee from the coffee bar on ground floor. Four times I asked for someone to come and help. 3 times nothing, 4th time someone came, rattled around, and walked off again 5) The food is so poor. How you get basics like burgers and salads wrong is a mystery to me 6) There has been no investment in the place and, consequently, it is just tired. Dents, scratches, tattered flooring everywhere. Its honestly a bit sad to see This is from the Meridien chain, a well renowned brand. I am amazed that they are trusting a local operator to run a facility this poorly in their name. I booked the hotel basically because I assumed it must be OK because it was a Meridien but, honestly, the place is dreadful.

The location is good, next to the sea fountain, few people, good environment, close to the supermarket, the price is not expensive. The price is very high, the front desk staff is good, looking for a taxi, cheap, service is OK, next time I come to live here!

A good hotel for business trips. The location is good, and the breakfast is good too. The condition of the room is also good for business trips. The staff are friendly too. I was satisfied overall.

Excellent hotel, with gorgeous view on the corniche. This hotel is excellent in all aspects. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. The beds are extremely comfortable. All rooms have a balcony, and for those that look on the corniche, the view is gorgeous. Cleaning service, handled by Mr. Alamin during my stay, was thorough. The breakfast is rich and varied, with first-quality ingredients and dishes, plenty of fresh fruits and juices, well-brewed coffee, and a chef that prepares delicious omelets on order. Service is generally very friendly, and I was always greeted with a smile. The car service is always on time, and efficient (it is handled by Budget, which outsources to external drivers).

The whole hotel is indeed as big as a palace. You have to drive from the outside to the entrance. The decoration is quite elegant. The room facilities are not bad. Jeddah is really wet compared to Riyadh

The hotel is in a fairly decent location with restaurants and a supermarket nearby. Like most places in Jeddah you have to drive to them so anything beyond a block away and you’ll need an Uber. Beware that there’s two entrances, one up a ramp to the main reception area and another off a side street. The room was lovely, the shower in our room hadn’t been used for a while so it spluttered upon first use but the shower gel was lovely. Unfortunately the Cleaning staff did not replenish items such as tea or creamer after the first night meaning I didn’t get to have my morning cuppa, which for a 5* hotel you’d expect, without having to ask.
