The one who checked in was not the one you booked. When we checked in at night, the boss took us to another house because there was no booking information for us at all ... I did n’t have the energy to do it in the big night. I told Ctrip Ctrip to start the next day I didn't say a reason at the end, but I did n’t let me check in, but the hotel that took me was compensated at the same price. I did n’t reply to the email for more than 24 hours, and I did n’t object. The reason was that we did n’t understand the version of the hotel and did n’t understand how the 54 yuan compensation was calculated. I ’m really dissatisfied with the booking service.

First of all , I would definitely recommend staying at least one night in Bhaktapur, where people mostly do it as a day trip from Kathmandu. Located in one of the narrow lanes of the old city, the hotel is hardly a minute's walk from Durbar square . This is a traditional family home converted to a boutique hotel without losing its old world charm. Clean room, cosy bedding, friendly service and a lovely rooftop with views of the durbar square wherein you catch a glimpse of the local life. Breakfast was a bit basic but again, you can't complain for the rates you pay.

A quiet hotel full of character within walking distance of the centre of Bhaktapur. Service was great with food to suit all tastes at a very reasonable cost. The room was lovely with plenty of space. My only criticism was the WiFi connection was temperamental.

This guest house is in a fantastic location! It is right between Bhaktapur Durbar Square and Pottery Square- you can walk to many attractions and it is very easy to find. It is also in a very beautiful area, the surrounding architecture is very pretty and intricate. I could recommend it based on the area alone, but the staff was also very nice! On my last day in Bhaktapur, I went for a morning trek that ended up taking all day and I was not able to get back and check out in time. He worked with me over the phone and make the whole ordeal much less stressful. When I got back, he organized transportation for me and everything to my next destination. There is also a very nice café right across the road that serves very good coffee and has the absolute sweetest baristas! The room and attached bathroom was very clean and comfortable. There are plenty of outlets, there is water in the room, and the hot water in the shower works well. I would recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Bhaktapur!

The staff service was great. It was caring everywhere and friendly. However, the water was dirty anyway! In Nepal, the hotel with a bathtub is valuable, so I stayed here to check the facilities and think I can take a bath in the bathtub, but it was a pity that I couldn't do it. It is true that water is often yellow in Nepal, but it was the first time that such blue and black water came out. I was a little scared when I thought I was taking a shower or washing my face with this water. When I asked the hotel, I was disappointed by the manager's reply that the tank was broken, and there was no apology or compensation for it. The breakfast was delicious, but the variety was small and the bread was hard.

This place has all the attributes of a good Boutique. Great decor, Newari architectural charm, the right amount of creature comforts, and personalized and friendly hospitality. IF it fixes a few holes in the fabric, it could be a winner. The biggest letdown was the extremely lame breakfast that had almost no good local food in it and the dated room interior. IF they get that fixed they can be a true charmer. LOCATION: Good location in old Bhaktapur and walkable from Durbar square and ll points of interest DINE + DRINK: The Breakfast was a disappointment and it was closed quite early in the night even before we arrived. There is also No good Bar on site. ROOM: We stayed in Room 401, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Random view of the cityscape ; SIZE: Spacious enough with a huge living room and s separate Bedroom; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting me to sleep; BATHROOM: A very doo Bathtub shower with no shower curtains! ; TOILETRIES: Very random cosmetics, better to bring your own FACILITIES: No gym on site, but there is an outdoor pool that is unusable in colder weathers. The staff were lovely, attentive and super helpful - I arrived at midnight and they dealt with technology issues with payment without a word of complaint and were incredibly lovely in the morning with breakfast as well. However I’m unsure if the room had been properly cleaned before I arrived as there was a half used water bottle still in the room and some mould on the shower curtain. However those issues were nothing compared with how lovely and helpful the staff were - and the breakfast in the morning was great as well.

We looked for A hotel near the airport and assumed this would do. Upon arrival, the online price was lower than the price they offered at reception. After some back and forth we figured it out. The room smelled life a sewer pump was broken. I wanted to shower and there was no hot water. Called reception and they told me it took a little while for water to warm up. 20 min later the water was warm enough to shower but not nearly hot as I like to shower with hot water. Water pressure was meek and it took 20min to get the soap off my hair. Finally laid on a bed that was made of wood. Litterally no bounce on the mattress. The window pigeons made a cozy singing nest that was not compatible with our sleeping plans. I stayed because I was too exhausted to find a new hotel late in the evening but will never make that mistake again. On a positive note, the staff tried really hard to accommodate and was very friendly and attentive.

Sometimes lack of information when kept waiting for travel agency to turn up. Also I had booked for the hotel to pick me up at the airport. There was a man with a board with my name. He asked me for $25 dollars in front of the hotel driver saying it was for the taxi. It wasn’t at all. The hotel driver should have told me not to pay him!
