"Good location, Linhu Hotel, hotel has gym, plunge pool. The hotel has a bar and the surrounding environment is also good. It is convenient to check in and check out via Ctrip."
"Environmental sanitation is very good, the only problem is that the old house does not have an elevator, but the service is very good, the breakfast is not bad, you need to book a good location to eat on time."

"The location of the hotel is easy to find. The town of Kendall is quiet and not far from the Lake District. Health is ok. It's a bit like a domestic fast chain hotel."

"£200 for a basic room for one night was a bit on the pricey side for me, however it was nice all the same. A few of the photos of the basic room are misleading. The photos show a four post double bed which is not the case. We found out later this is actually an executive room despite it being labeled basic.
We found out that the hotel location is accessible by bus from Oxenholme train station (despite being told the opposite) and has a great view of beautiful fields. Food in the hotel is good but expensive... My eyes nearly popped out their sockets when I saw the £8.00 charge just for the tiniest amount of table bread. I'd say this was probably the reason the restaurant was empty despite being told we need to book a table due to its popularity. Swimming pool and steam room are average for the price.
Staff are friendly and changed our room to a double bed room free of charge after mistakenly putting us in a twin bedroom."

Amazing
ZZHENGPINGNice hotel, free parking, gas station, supermarket nearby, very close to the lake area, breakfast is very good, freshly cooked English breakfast.
SSusana0007The hotel is located on the mountainside of the lake. It is an old-style British hotel with a history of more than 300 years. Extra beds can be charged for children with children.
SShuizunyimengThe store owner discriminated against Chinese people. They arranged a basement for us. There was no elevator and they didn't ask us if we needed help with the luggage. The most important thing was that there was a staircase next to our room. If someone went up and down the stairs, the noise was very loud! The curtains were not light-proof and leaked out from the sides. We could see inside our room from the side of the window. We had to use the kettle and bath towel in the room to wipe the curtains and hold them down, otherwise there would be no privacy! There was no view outside the window, three walls and a staircase.
EENSHANThe hotel’s facilities are complete, clean and tidy, and the staff are friendly and lovely. Due to Ctrip, the room may have been wrongly booked. They adjusted the large room for us for free, and the stay was very satisfactory.
GGuest UserThe location is perfect, right next to the train station and it's very easy to spot the entrance. The cleanliness is definitely a work in progress. The key areas were very clean, such as the bed, the wardrobe etc. However there was dust on small things like the towel holders, behind the cupboards etc. (The only reason I checked was because my allergies were acting up but only in the room). A few cobwebs in the room that you only really notice when you're just relaxing. The bathroom was clean but in the grouting there was mould in there, so it needs sorting. The beds are uncomfortable, they're really hard on your back and both me and my partner have left with sore backs after staying, I booked a double bed and it's two single beds pushed together which would be fine if the mattresses weren't so firm. The reception staff both over the weekend and weekdays were so lovely, very friendly and welcoming and i can't fault them whatsoever. The team that refreshes the room were also lovely, very accommodating and friendly, they topped everything up in the room fast without asking and were also great. The night porter unfortunately needs an attitude adjustment, his tone and the way he speaks to you just isn't okay. Having a lovely day and coming back to the night porter being rude wasn't pleasant. All in all a lovely stay with only a few minor complaints.
