Hotels with Parking in Kiel

The hotel is great for animal friends!! There is very nice at the reception; there is free coffee or tea, at the end even a large bottle of water without extra charge. Because there were still empty rooms, a previously not announced upgrow. The room looked very large and clean, lightly moon-moonly furnished for the money. It was rarely so satisfied with the money paid and the performance received for it!

This is a very nice hotel on the outskirts of Kiel very comfortable room with very large bed.We stayed here on route to sweden and it was a perfect place to stay.It has a very nice restuarant although we found the prices a little on the high side.The shops we found were about ten minutes drive.Nice views from bar and restuarant would stay here again.

Hotel was in chaos when we arrived. Staffing issue with the room cleaners, only one on duty. The reception area was full of guests waiting for their rooms. We eventually got into ours at 18.30 that night. The reception staff were doing their best to keep the guests happy, They were working really hard and were terribly stressed.. Caroline in particular did an amazing job. Our room, when we got into it, was comfortable and reasonably clean. Location is very good, close to the harbour and station. Breakfast was very busy but there was plenty of choice of food and again the catering staff were working very hard. I had the impression that there are some management issues at the hotel. I felt sorry for the staff that were obviously doing their best but needed more support. Having said that it was a good stay for us and Kiel was an interesting and surprisingly lovely place to visit.

This is a modest, slightly old-fashioned hotel. My single room looked quite freshly renovated, though. Enough space to store your things, even a (very small) room safe, a clean and functional bathroom. Cleanliness in the room itself was mediocre (some spots on the carpet and it didn't look like they cleaned the space under the bed, but it wasn't too bad). Quite comfortable bed. Small, acceptable breakfast. The location is convenient, in easily walkable distance from the main train station and close to the Stena Line ferry as well - though the immediate vicinity isn't particularly nice. Reception was closed overnight at the time of my stay. For the price, the hotel is alright.

Well, were to start. I have obliged for 2 years to all rules re COVID-19, got infected last year with the delta variant and have since then difficulties breathing i.e. through the mask. Since the mask wearing rule was lifted, I started booking hotel trips with my family again. However, I asked specifically and several times at the booking direct via the hotel reception if wearing a mask is required and the answer was clearly NO. Of course it was just a lie and we were treated like scum including our little children 2 and 3 years old. They claimed the right of the landlord to overrule the law. Nevermind, that was not all. We made the booking weeks ago and booked specifically the same suite number 515 again as we liked it last time around. Of course that was confirmed without any hesitation. At check in something happened we still can not understand. They took a pen and made out of the 515 a 715. A room without i.e. a balcony. Asuming we shall pay the same for an inferior room! We asked why and the answer was something illogical. I said we will not move and then they said okay we make some calls and see what we can do. Suddenly we got 515 back. I believe they were overbooked and promised someone else the suite and tried their luck. The whole stay we were made feel uncomfortable. My wife was close to tears. We felt so unwanted that we decided to have our breakfast outside the hotel. Voila Atlantic Hotels you are blacklisted and I will tell all my business associates (600 on LinkedIn) as well. If you stay a little tip for what it is worth: rooms facing the train station gives you the sun in the afternoon or evening and not early morning to wake you at 6 am as the curtains close not up completely.

The rooms and bathrooms are as new. Unfortunately, the condition of the bathroom was unsatisfactory, with limescale deposits in the shower under the toilet, and a slight smell of urine in the air. I got 89 euros at the reception for 67 euros through the app, which is related to my high standards. In addition, there is a breakfast that should be charged 15 euros. I personally think that these two breakfasts are too much. Personally, I will go on a business trip and sleep here again, but privately, I may not necessarily spend my vacation there.

We stayed at the Steigenberger for one night. The hotel is nice and conveniently located opposite Terminal 28. It also close to the city centre. The buffet breakfast was very good. However, there was only a bottle of water in the mini-bar. The weather was quite hot and there was not ventilation unfortunately.

We were in this hotel with our children, summarized it is a hotel with many heights but also with many deepness. The next row: Rooms: In the whole, you could do more about it, as the not renovated have already come something into the years. Reception: There are very good staff, as in the whole hotel, but unfortunately also staff who are declining or partly overdrived with their performance. Gastronomie: Generally very child-friendly. Also here, partly with very good staff and service, but unfortunately, partly weak staff. Eating in itself is good, but for the performance you bring too expensive in the A la Carte business. We were guests at an event, unfortunately, the performance of heights and depths was also marked here. The ice cold, I think, TK vegetables was unfortunately the negative height. Suppe average, pre-food was good, after-food average. Breakfast was enough and very good :) Bar: I was always good visit, so I can't understand why one trainer is left to work there alone. It was unfortunately not behind because of the high demand. However, she was very friendly, effortless and one of the best staff in the hotel. Why let them work with a trained button is a mystery for me. Wellness: The area is very beautiful in itself and I was very positively surprised, Because of our own very negative experience, I would dismiss us to visit the pool area with young children, because our experience is not desirable for children to stay in the pool in normal child volume and it is noted immediately be quiet. The other guests in the pool could not understand why we were noticed and have just shaken their head. Unfortunately, a significant negative experience, as we had no “volume” problems in any (wellness) hotel yet.
