I was assigned to room 1022 and upon entering the room, I was appalled to see ants crawling on the wall. It could be due to sweet food remnants left behind by the previous guest. I called the reception immediately and was attended by a receptionist, Mr Clement.
Clement was so apologetic and performed an elaborated service recovery even though I was merely asking for just a room change. The next day, he arranged for a chocolate cake to be delivered to my room. I'm very impressed at how dedicated he is towards his job. Although the hotel lacks in terms of the hardware as it has shown signs of aging, I'm sure I'll be back again for the warm Malaysian hospitality I received from staff like Clement!
