Airport pick up at 2am was very convenient. The bus will be waiting at door 4 departure level. Available at every hour at 15 minutes and 45 minutes. Room is very clean and comfortable. Hotel lobby is with free drinks and snacks. Strongly recommended for late night arrival and transit used.

The amenities this hotel are very satisfying and exceeded expectations for the rate charged. The best comment i have is the friendly staff that made our stay so much enjoyable, particularly the staff 丁绮月

Convenient and clean for a quick transit stay to get some sleep in before heading to the train station. Sound proofing was not the best though

The hotel is located very near to the airport and good for late arrivals or early departures. However, the hotel is still to far to be reached by foot. It’s nice the hotel has a free pickups service. The hotel is nice and clean and the breakfast is good and rich. The only negative is that it was not possible to stop the air ventilation in the night as it is a bit noisy and you hear the airplanes noise clearly in the night!

My first stay at a Mercure and I was very pleased. Everything is set up for super-efficiency - perfect for a business traveler. Staff were extremely helpful. Makes me want to explore other Mercure hotels.

This hotel's convenient location is ideal for early morning airport departures; however, the exceptional service provided by Ms.丁绮月 from check-in to departure was truly outstanding. Upon my late-night arrival, Ms.丁绮月 efficiently processed my check-in while thoroughly explaining hotel amenities and breakfast options, ensuring a restful start after a long journey. Her exceptional service left a lasting impression. Despite my offer to retrieve my Taobao packages myself, she insisted on using the automated robot, demonstrating a genuine desire to assist. Although my app showed the some of my missing packages as delivered, her proactive approach quickly resolved the issue. She identified the possibility that they were mistakenly delivered to a nearby building, 30 meters away, sharing the same address but a different block number. This enabled me to locate the missing packages. Her willingness to go above and beyond, rather than simply stating the hotel lacked the parcels, was truly commendable. Upon nearing departure for my flight, I had arranged private transportation. While awaiting the vehicle, Ms.丁绮月 emerged from the hotel, informing me of the imminent arrival (within five minutes) of the hotel's airport shuttle. She kindly offered the shuttle as an alternative, considering my substantial luggage. Instead of simply processing my checkout, she proactively assisted, waiting outside in the cold until the shuttle's arrival to ensure my safe boarding and even helped with my heavy luggage, exceeding expectations. Mercure Kunming Changshui International Airport have found a valuable employee, 丁绮月, who has demonstrated exceptional performance and is deserving of both a promotion and a salary increase. We sincerely appreciate her contributions.

Good price quality hotel located in a nearby village ~2.5 km from the airport. Sound proof could be better but night was quiet as not many planes. They offer airport pick up and drop off. We booked 3 rooms.

The hotel is very new and clean. Shuttle bus to pick up at the airport is very easy to find. You can call the hotel directly via trip.com. And it is very reasonable price.

The hotel was clean and the breakfast spread was decent. Airport transfer was timely. Overall, its everything you’d expect from both the mercure chain and an airport hotel.

I booked this hotel because it’s very close to the airport and they provide shuttle bus service. We were very disappointed with this hotel shuttle bus service, we caught the 4:55am bus this morning. The bus they used, didn’t have luggage storage space and the driver did not help to carry the luggage up and also down the bus. Such a bad service. Took everyone a long time to get on the bus because they all had to carry their luggage up and down themselves and no space to put them. The driver just left my luggage inside the bus and waiting at the door for me to get off. Really really disappointed, I would not recommend anyone to stay here if they want to stay close to the airport even though it’s clean. Service is also very important.

Good location to the airport, free transportation to and from the airport with good instruction. But it’s better add the hotel WeChat so you can communicate with them directly if you don’t have a Chinese mobile phone. Price is reasonable
