The hotel is conveniently located in downtown, close to the Parliament. The reception staff were very accommodating, and while the hallway was a bit dark, it had a pleasant scent. Our room was clean, fresh-smelling, and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The property also offers great amenities like a gym and a game room. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back.

Good location. 10 to 15 minutes walk to Parliament Buildings. Room was big and confortable. Room amenities were excellent. Breakfast could be improved, Ej.: Too many unnecessary food containers that take space on small dining room furniture could be modernized.

Surprisingly Great Stay! Unique and Comfortable I really enjoyed my stay at the Saintlo Ottawa Jail Hostel. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The atmosphere is unique and definitely something you don’t experience at a regular hotel — in a good way! The staff were friendly, the place felt safe, and the location was convenient for getting around Ottawa. Overall, it was a great stay and I would happily come back again. Highly recommend

booked a room with 2 double beds, it was clean and nice but walls are a bit thin so you can hear people talking when they walk past in the hallway

The location is excellent, close to shopping malls, supermarkets, Chinese restaurants, and tourist attractions. Room cleanliness was average, with noticeable dust on the sofa and table, and noticeable water stains on the bathroom and kitchenware. The room was well-equipped with appliances and a good size, making it very comfortable for families. However, the soundproofing wasn't very good, with frequent car sirens and sirens, which might be a bit noisy for those with trouble sleeping. If you want to cook, the kitchen doesn't have oil or seasonings, so you'll need to bring your own. Both the front desk and room service were excellent. I would recommend this hotel to families traveling with children.

Service was good. The location is good except for the way you have to enter the parking lot outside of the hotel. The room was big and very clean. Could have definitely been a better seating setup for the breakfast. But it was a good visit and I’ll definitely be back. I’d love to take advantage of the terrace in the summer time.

We came early before our check-in time and got accommodated for an early check-in (without paying extra!) We just got lucky because there was an available room. Additionally, we were in awe with the hotel’s interior design alongside the conveniency of its location to tourist destinations that are a walking distance to the hotel. Nice architectural structures everywhere you go! 👍

I ordered the most common kind of house at the time. The hotel is located in downtown, which is super convenient! You can punch in some downtown delicacies on foot. The little sisters and brothers at the front desk are very good, and the key point is that I did not have this credit card at the time, and this shop does not need to provide it! The size of the room is smaller than that I have lived in before, but it's enough! Clean, tidy and warm.

They listened to all my requests and the location of the accommodation was really great😀 I was worried because it was clean and the accommodation was a bit cheap, but it was clean and nice😀

The room presents a modern design with a pleasant ambiance, and overall, it is very clean and comfortable. As expected of a 4-star hotel standard that should be met. However, I would like to highlight a couple of areas where practicality could be improved: • Study Table Placement: The study/work desk is positioned directly beneath the wall-mounted TV. This setup is not practical, as it places the guest in a position where they are working directly in front of a screen that may be distracting. It would be more functional to have the desk in a location that supports focus and productivity without unnecessary interference. • Coffee Cup and Saucer Mismatch: The coffee cup provided has a round base, while the saucer has a square design that does not accommodate the cup securely. This mismatch not only affects usability but also detracts from the overall attention to detail expected at this level of hospitality. • Bathroom Dustbin Design: The dustbin in the bathroom does not have a foot pedal for hands-free operation. Guests are required to bend down and lift the lid manually, which is inconvenient and unhygienic. A foot-pedal bin would be a more user-friendly option. • Lack of Proper Kettle for Tea Drinkers: As tea drinkers, we found it inconvenient to boil water using the coffee machine. The water has a noticeable coffee taste and smell, which affects the flavor of the tea. A small electric kettle in each room would be a simple but impactful addition to cater to all beverage preferences.
