The second time I stayed at Kaile Hotel, I still felt as comfortable and relaxed as at home. I was extremely satisfied with my stay at the Atour Hotel Quanzhou Fengze Wanda Plaza Guangfengze Street! The hotel has a great location with convenient transportation and easy access to restaurants, entertainment, and shopping. The room was clean, tidy, and warmly decorated with attention to detail; the bed was also very comfortable. A special shout-out to Xiao Ren (Ren Ze) at the front desk! His service was excellent—warm, professional, and attentive during check-in. He even proactively upgraded my room and patiently answered all my questions, making me feel right at home. Having such a thoughtful front desk staff member was a huge plus! 👍 Overall, this Atour Hotel is fantastic in terms of environment, service, and value for money. I will definitely choose it again next time I'm in Quanzhou.

This hotel just opened this month, and all the facilities are brand new. The showerhead in the bathroom is particularly large, and the water pressure is stable, making showering especially comfortable. The breakfast selection is extensive, and the front desk staff are very welcoming… A taxi ride to West Street from here costs only around 10 yuan. There are convenience stores and various snack shops nearby, making it quite convenient.

Really loved the large floor-to-ceiling window; that was the main reason I booked this place. The location is also great, and the surrounding area feels very safe. All the room facilities are quite new. The only downside is that the ceiling is very low, especially above the sink. I'm 163cm tall, and if I stretch my hand and stand on my tiptoes, I can touch the ceiling. It's fine for people of average height, but taller guests might want to take note.

GGuest UserThe service here is absolutely amazing! The staff are so warm, thoughtful, and incredibly patient with their explanations. When we checked in, they even gave us a hand-drawn map and went through all the routes, potential pitfalls, and must-see spots. Their recommendations for food and activities were absolute gems – we followed their advice for mochi, mung bean cakes, and the Arts and Crafts Cooperative, and everything was spot-on, way better than anything we could have found doing our own research! They were always ready to help and proactively offered assistance, treating us like friends the whole time. It felt even warmer and more personalized than a five-star hotel.
Traveling with my mom was completely stress-free; this guesthouse provided an incredible sense of security and convenience.
If you're coming to Quanzhou, this is definitely the place to stay. I'll absolutely be back for a second visit, and I highly recommend it to all my friends!

GGuest UserI rarely say this on my reviews, but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Minsu. When I come back to Quanzhou for another family holiday, I will book this place again.
Firstly, the location: It is unbeatable. It is near enough to be in the midst of the action in Quanzhou (near the walking street, eateries, restaurants, shopping etc etc), yet very quiet for us to enjoy a good night’s rest, or a good conversation at night over tea.
Second, the nice balance between an authentic cultural home and modernism. We had the entire Minsu to ourselves, 6 rooms in total. Renovated about 3-4 years ago, the Minsu gave us the experience of living in an authentic Chinese inn, yet the amenities were modern….comfortable beds, modern toilets, refrigerators available etc….The courtyards were also beautiful. The entire Minsu was tastefully done…..plus it was spotlessly clean.
Thirdly, the owners. They were so friendly and helpful. They met us at the drop off point, and brought us to the Minsu when we checked in, helping to move some of our luggages (and they did the same thing when we checked out). They went out of their way to help purchase traditional puppet show (木偶) tickets (at a small discount somemore). After we checked out, my son left his hoodie in the room. The owners assisted to courier the jacket to the next city we were heading to (we were already in the train at that time). And lastly, every morning and every night, either Mr Du, his son or his daughter in law would invite us to join them for tea. They would then proceed to serve tea the traditional way, while having a conversation with us. They also taught us certain traditions, protocols and rules when serving tea. They have a cat called TangYuan (汤圆), in which the kids in the family enjoyed playing with.
The only thing to note is that public transport (via taxis and buses) only can drop you off at a spot about 5min walk away. Also, they provide disposable towels, not the regular towels given at hotels. If it is an issue, just bring your own towels.
Otherwise, this place deserves 5 out of 5 stars.

Clean, comfortable, helpful ground staff, especially friendly customer support through WeChat - Xiao Yang, conveniently located, nice local breakfast provided in the hotel.It’s not located on the Main Street but it’s only a few min walk, which also means less noise at night and early in the morning. I’ll definitely be back again if I ever visit Quanzhou again! Thanks for hosting us!

YYaoyaojiadeyuThis hotel is simply perfect! The room was huge, and the cleaning staff tidied up every day. Every evening, they'd bring sweet soups like tremella or red bean, along with fruit, right to our room. The restaurant on the 22nd floor was also great; we could leisurely enjoy breakfast there before heading out. There's a gym and a pool on the 6th floor.
Speaking of which, I almost gave a bad review. When I chose this hotel, it was specifically because of their swimming pool. However, when I got there, I found out that during the Chinese New Year period, the pool hours were only from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM. This is exactly when we were out and about! How could anyone use the pool then? I was so annoyed. But, considering their excellent service, I let it go and still gave a full five stars.
I also want to give a special shout-out to ”Huihui” at the front desk. We accidentally left something in the hotel fridge and only realized it after we'd checked out. Huihui very enthusiastically helped us find it and even mailed it to us. We're so grateful!
All in all, this is a hotel with complete facilities, thoughtful service, and a warm, lovely atmosphere. It's the kind of cozy place that made us look forward to coming back to rest every day after a tiring day of sightseeing.

Its location is perfect – tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet convenient for sightseeing, allowing you to enjoy peaceful downtime. The hotel environment is super comfortable, with greenery tastefully sprinkled throughout the public areas, creating a wonderful ambiance. The room was cozy and spotless, with soft lighting design; it was so relaxing to curl up on the sofa and binge-watch shows at night. The front desk lady was incredibly thoughtful. For breakfast, there were freshly made noodles and authentic Chinese pastries that tasted amazing, and even the coffee was freshly ground. The hotel also offers small drinks, and enjoying the breeze and scenery in the evening was incredibly therapeutic. The service was consistently excellent, with every staff member wearing a smile, making you feel incredibly welcome. This hotel has definitely made it onto my 'must-revisit' list!

GGuest UserBooked the 2208 Guesthouse Kaiyuan Branch for my trip to Quanzhou, and it was a real gem! The location is absolutely fantastic – just a few minutes' walk to Kaiyuan Temple, making it super convenient for exploring the old city and trying local food. The room was clean and cozy, the bedding was super soft, and it had great natural light, making for a very comfortable stay.
The host was handsome and incredibly thoughtful. He sent us a travel guide in advance and even helped us with our luggage. He also recommended a local Min Min Travel special tour route. We picked one out, and the driver took us to Luojia Temple and Golden Coast, then brought us back, which was incredibly convenient.
The rooftop was the biggest surprise! I woke up early to watch the sunrise over the East and West Pagodas. The moment the morning glow slowly illuminated the twin pagodas was so beautiful I was speechless! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Quanzhou!

The rooms are spacious and bright, with plenty of natural light. The bedding is comfortable, and the soundproofing is excellent, completely blocking out any outside noise.

AAnonymous UserRoom was really big, and although it was further than I expected, its still of a walkable distance from the airport. Room was big and had plenty of space! Cleanliness wise was actually pretty alright, EXCEPT the toilet. I think it was mentioned by another reviewer that there is a very strong smell i think coming from the drain. It really hits you in the face whenever you open the toilet door, so im quite affected and reluctant to use the toilet lol. But luckily the toilet and bath are separated, so I think if you close the toilet door its still fine. I just hold my breath when opening the toilet door. Also its still bearable for me since im only there for 1 night (im in quanzhou for a 24 hour layover), but otherwise the smell is really not for long stays, so I would say considering the price I paid (and the proximity to the airport) its still an acceptable stay BUT if you're staying there for longer I would recommend looking for other hotels! (Which is a shame really because I like staying in large rooms normally and i think i dont have high standards for my stays as long as its clean, and this room is pretty spacious)

DDaimiI went to Quanzhou with my friends and booked a three-bedroom homestay. The location is good, the room is big and very quiet. The bathroom is not very good, a little small, and it is inconvenient for two people to use it at the same time, one to take a shower and the other to blow dry their hair. After all, it is a bit inconvenient to have the toilet sink and the shower together for three rooms. Overall it is not bad, I recommend it.
