Located in the heart of the city, the five-star Quanzhou Hotel (Quanzhou Jiudian) is around eight kilometers from Quanzhou railway station. The architecture of this Quanzhou hotel features classic European style. Guests can select from a list of room such as deluxe business rooms, deluxe business suites and presidential suites. Well-equipped rooms command views of the city and its landmark, two ancient towers.

The hotel is old and dated but my room was awesome - with a smart toilet too, and I would like to thank the kindly housekeeping staff , Li Qiaoyun, for her attentive service. The check in staff gave me plenty of tips for good Quanzhou food and it’s helpful. Will be happy to stay in Quanzhou Hotel if I come by again.

Booked 2 suites rooms for my family in 1 booking but was given 2 rooms at different level. Each level is only accessible by room card which made it rather in convenient for us. Would give service full mark if Staff take finer details into consideration when allocating the rooms rather than just brush it off. Breakfast was pretty good and room is quite new.

Quanzhou Overseas Chinese Building, the core area of the ancient city’s world heritage attractions, is located on Baiyuan Road in the center of the urban area, overlooking the Baiyuan Qingchi Lake in the east, and facing the famous cultural scenic spot Fu Confucian Temple in the south. Financial institutions and commercial streets are within easy reach. The Confucian Temple and Guanyue Temple can be reached within a 5-minute walk, and the Kaiyuan Temple is about a 15-minute walk. The building has all kinds of guest rooms carefully set up, equipped with international satellite TV receiving channels, broadband Internet access, smart toilets, business floors, non-smoking floors, etc., to create a warm, comfortable, convenient and safe environment for you to stay. The buffet breakfast restaurant on the first floor of the building offers a variety of delicacies with Quanzhou characteristics, which are highly praised by customers. The Wanhuayuan Chinese restaurant and banquet hall are high-end and can accommodate more than 700 people at the same time; the hotel is also equipped with dozens of unique dining boxes. The business and meeting facilities of the building are well-equipped, and the five multi-functional halls can hold multiple meetings and large banquets at the same time, which is an ideal choice for your business travel and meetings.

This hotel was definitely up to standard. The location was convenient, and the hotel was easy to spot from a distance. We booked the hotel's breakfast buffet, and there was a wide range of food, there was a customisable soup station too. 😄 Inside the room there were LOTS of facilities like toys and toothbrushes. At times we thought that room was a little overfilled. 😂 At night there was even a complementary dessert delivered to every room. This hotel is a rare find, and a great family friendly place. We would definitely recommend this hotel to tourists looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay.

Donglu Tianqingshe GuesthouseQuanzhou became renowned worldwide starting from the Song Dynasty. Drawing inspiration from the charm of the Song Dynasty, Tianqingshe blends into the ancient city, which has been listed as a World Heritage Site for thousands of years, presenting the most beautiful aspects of Quanzhou to every friend who comes to visit, tours around, and loves Quanzhou. There are "Three Wonders" in the ancient city of Quanzhou. The first is about sightseeing, appreciating the unique features of the ancient city; the second is about the taste, embarking on a culinary journey on the tip of the tongue; the third is about the atmosphere, the "murmur of daily life" that still lingers in the streets and alleys above the ancient ruins. These "Three Wonders" embody the original intention of Tianqingshe to ensure that every friend can have a wonderful time in Quanzhou. Located within the ancient city, it is a great place to "sightsee" the ancient city. It takes only 5 minutes to walk to the Temple of Guan Yu and Yue Fei, 8 minutes to the Confucian Temple of Quanzhou Prefecture, 10 minutes to Chengtian Temple, 18 minutes to the Bell Tower on West Street, and 25 minutes to Kaiyuan Temple. Moreover, authentic Quanzhou delicacies such as rice noodle paste, beef dishes, pickled pork, peanut soup, etc., waft their enticing aromas from the alleys adjacent to Tianqingshe.Starting from Tianqingshe, you can witness that the residents living in this millennium-old ancient city are still leading their lives in their own way. It seems that the passage of a thousand years has paused here and never really left. This is the most typical "murmur of daily life" in Quanzhou.Every friend staying at Tianqingshe will be presented with a hand-drawn travel map by the local boss, which serves as a guide to avoid pitfalls in terms of dining, entertainment, shopping, and other aspects.

Very pleased with the hospitality and environment. The location is at a quiet alley but it’s very near to touristy places. Breakfast was good too. Highly recommended.

Tucked within the living fabric of Quanzhou's UNESCO World Heritage ancient city, Wuchen Suyin steps away from the stereotypical models of traditional hotels and noisy homestays. With "peace and privacy" at its core, it has created a light-luxury retreat hidden within the bustling city yet returning to tranquility — a place where every guest can find their own relaxation and ease amidst the ancient city's vibrant life. The homestay enjoys a prime location in the ancient city, offering unparalleled convenience. Within a five-minute walk, you can reach the incense-filled Guanyue Temple and the uniquely exotic Qingjing Mosque. A leisurely ten-minute stroll takes you deep into the core alleys of Quanzhou's ancient city, where you can touch the red brick heritage buildings with your own hands and witness the UNESCO World Heritage culture with your own eyes. The surrounding streets and lanes are lined with authentic Minnan cuisine — oyster noodles, runbing (moist pancakes), ginger duck, oyster omelets, and sea worm jelly are all just steps away, allowing you to savor the flavors of Quanzhou right outside your door. The entire property embraces a design philosophy of "airy and comfortable," with exceptional natural lighting. During the day, sunlight pours in, making the rooms bright, warm, and inviting. The overall environment is quiet and elegant, with thoughtfully refined spatial design complemented by atmospheric lighting. Every step reveals a scene of understated sophistication. Far from noise and bustle, privacy is paramount here — a unique advantage that sets this homestay apart from others. The guest rooms are equipped with advanced, thoughtfully curated amenities. Premium, soft, skin-friendly bedding offers a cloud-like sleeping experience. Each room features a private bathroom with 24-hour constant-temperature hot water, ensuring worry-free bathing. Select room types boast private viewing terraces, where you can sit leisurely and take in the ancient city's vibrant life, and some also come with soothing bathtubs — perfect for unwinding and shedding the fatigue of travel after a long day. Adding to the experience, 100-to-120-inch high-definition projectors allow you to enjoy a private cinema experience without leaving your room, creating the perfect atmosphere for watching movies or catching up on your favorite shows. From hardware facilities to spatial ambiance, from sleep quality to travel convenience, Wuchen Suyin balances texture and practicality, allowing you to enjoy a quiet, comfortable, and fulfilling stay during your slow-paced time in Quanzhou's ancient city — an uninterrupted healing journey.

The rooms are new, the location is good, and the service is excellent. There's a washing machine and dryer on the first floor. We traveled during the Qingming Festival, and the owner thoughtfully provided umbrellas when it rained heavily. Although there's no breakfast, there are plenty of restaurants nearby, and Zhongshan Road is within walking distance.

My first stay at Atour was a fantastic experience. When we arrived at the hotel, staff helped us with our luggage, which was really helpful for our family with a baby and lots of stuff. The bed and pillows were just right, very comfortable for sleeping. The best part was the laundry service! You can have staff wash and dry your clothes, then deliver them to your room! This means even if you're only staying one night, you can get your dirty clothes cleaned without having to wait around for them yourself.

AAvelineeeeeeThis stay was truly heartwarming! When I checked in, the host was incredibly thoughtful. They invited me to sit down, offered tea to relax, and even took out a hand-drawn map to slowly explain the surrounding routes and delicious little shops. They were so gentle and patient, full of warmth and hospitality. The room decor is minimalist modern, with warm white paired with dark green. It looks incredibly comfortable and cozy, not at all stiff, just like being at home. The details were super well-thought-out, with steam eye masks, sanitary pads, a sewing kit, and even scented candles by the bathtub. Every aspect was considered, making it feel very thoughtful and personal. I had a really comfortable stay, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

GGuest UserI rarely say this on my reviews, but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Minsu. When I come back to Quanzhou for another family holiday, I will book this place again. Firstly, the location: It is unbeatable. It is near enough to be in the midst of the action in Quanzhou (near the walking street, eateries, restaurants, shopping etc etc), yet very quiet for us to enjoy a good night’s rest, or a good conversation at night over tea. Second, the nice balance between an authentic cultural home and modernism. We had the entire Minsu to ourselves, 6 rooms in total. Renovated about 3-4 years ago, the Minsu gave us the experience of living in an authentic Chinese inn, yet the amenities were modern….comfortable beds, modern toilets, refrigerators available etc….The courtyards were also beautiful. The entire Minsu was tastefully done…..plus it was spotlessly clean. Thirdly, the owners. They were so friendly and helpful. They met us at the drop off point, and brought us to the Minsu when we checked in, helping to move some of our luggages (and they did the same thing when we checked out). They went out of their way to help purchase traditional puppet show (木偶) tickets (at a small discount somemore). After we checked out, my son left his hoodie in the room. The owners assisted to courier the jacket to the next city we were heading to (we were already in the train at that time). And lastly, every morning and every night, either Mr Du, his son or his daughter in law would invite us to join them for tea. They would then proceed to serve tea the traditional way, while having a conversation with us. They also taught us certain traditions, protocols and rules when serving tea. They have a cat called TangYuan (汤圆), in which the kids in the family enjoyed playing with. The only thing to note is that public transport (via taxis and buses) only can drop you off at a spot about 5min walk away. Also, they provide disposable towels, not the regular towels given at hotels. If it is an issue, just bring your own towels. Otherwise, this place deserves 5 out of 5 stars.

TTheGigiLoving the vibes of this hotel! Clean, comfortable, helpful ground staff, especially friendly customer support through WeChat - Xiao Yang, conveniently located, nice local breakfast provided in the hotel. It’s not located on the Main Street but it’s only a few min walk, which also means less noise at night and early in the morning. I’ll definitely be back again if I ever visit Quanzhou again! Thanks for hosting us!

YYaoyaojiadeyuThis hotel is simply perfect! The room was huge, and the cleaning staff tidied up every day. Every evening, they'd bring sweet soups like tremella or red bean, along with fruit, right to our room. The restaurant on the 22nd floor was also great; we could leisurely enjoy breakfast there before heading out. There's a gym and a pool on the 6th floor. Speaking of which, I almost gave a bad review. When I chose this hotel, it was specifically because of their swimming pool. However, when I got there, I found out that during the Chinese New Year period, the pool hours were only from 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM. This is exactly when we were out and about! How could anyone use the pool then? I was so annoyed. But, considering their excellent service, I let it go and still gave a full five stars. I also want to give a special shout-out to ”Huihui” at the front desk. We accidentally left something in the hotel fridge and only realized it after we'd checked out. Huihui very enthusiastically helped us find it and even mailed it to us. We're so grateful! All in all, this is a hotel with complete facilities, thoughtful service, and a warm, lovely atmosphere. It's the kind of cozy place that made us look forward to coming back to rest every day after a tiring day of sightseeing.

Llaipeng123Half the joy of this short trip came from this hotel! Its location is perfect – tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet convenient for sightseeing, allowing you to enjoy peaceful downtime. The hotel environment is super comfortable, with greenery tastefully sprinkled throughout the public areas, creating a wonderful ambiance. The room was cozy and spotless, with soft lighting design; it was so relaxing to curl up on the sofa and binge-watch shows at night. The front desk lady was incredibly thoughtful. For breakfast, there were freshly made noodles and authentic Chinese pastries that tasted amazing, and even the coffee was freshly ground. The hotel also offers small drinks, and enjoying the breeze and scenery in the evening was incredibly therapeutic. The service was consistently excellent, with every staff member wearing a smile, making you feel incredibly welcome. This hotel has definitely made it onto my 'must-revisit' list!

GGuest UserBooked the 2208 Guesthouse Kaiyuan Branch for my trip to Quanzhou, and it was a real gem! The location is absolutely fantastic – just a few minutes' walk to Kaiyuan Temple, making it super convenient for exploring the old city and trying local food. The room was clean and cozy, the bedding was super soft, and it had great natural light, making for a very comfortable stay. The host was handsome and incredibly thoughtful. He sent us a travel guide in advance and even helped us with our luggage. He also recommended a local Min Min Travel special tour route. We picked one out, and the driver took us to Luojia Temple and Golden Coast, then brought us back, which was incredibly convenient. The rooftop was the biggest surprise! I woke up early to watch the sunrise over the East and West Pagodas. The moment the morning glow slowly illuminated the twin pagodas was so beautiful I was speechless! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Quanzhou!

AAnonymous UserRoom was really big, and although it was further than I expected, its still of a walkable distance from the airport. Room was big and had plenty of space! Cleanliness wise was actually pretty alright, EXCEPT the toilet. I think it was mentioned by another reviewer that there is a very strong smell i think coming from the drain. It really hits you in the face whenever you open the toilet door, so im quite affected and reluctant to use the toilet lol. But luckily the toilet and bath are separated, so I think if you close the toilet door its still fine. I just hold my breath when opening the toilet door. Also its still bearable for me since im only there for 1 night (im in quanzhou for a 24 hour layover), but otherwise the smell is really not for long stays, so I would say considering the price I paid (and the proximity to the airport) its still an acceptable stay BUT if you're staying there for longer I would recommend looking for other hotels! (Which is a shame really because I like staying in large rooms normally and i think i dont have high standards for my stays as long as its clean, and this room is pretty spacious)

DDaimiI went to Quanzhou with my friends and booked a three-bedroom homestay. The location is good, the room is big and very quiet. The bathroom is not very good, a little small, and it is inconvenient for two people to use it at the same time, one to take a shower and the other to blow dry their hair. After all, it is a bit inconvenient to have the toilet sink and the shower together for three rooms. Overall it is not bad, I recommend it.
