Hotels near K-ARENA, Kaohsiung

The place was quite clean and nice at first glance. It is simple but has everything you need. There’s a little remind that the hostel can check the rubbish under the bed, which I found an opened chocolate package although it is empty. The overall atmosphere is nice and pleasant.

The receptionists are friendly. They offer free snacks and coffee at the lobby. There’s also free wifi. You can drop off your luggage at the lobby before you check in.

The young women at the front desk had the best customer service one could ever expect. They helped me with many things. I was disappointed at the higher price, the hotel itself does not have the value charged aside from the excellent customer service. For example the shower wasnt a shower it was very difficult to operate no shower curtain, very high off ground makes it a bit slippery to exit. The room was bare of furniture to place bags on. The furniture that was in the room was worn and heavily usedb The bathroom reminded me of a double wide trailer manufactured home you would see in the USA. But the customer service was amazing.......and not just because of the pretty face, they actually were amazing.

The AC is terrible, even you turned up the temperature but not working. As told by front desk, the central supply of AC dominates all rooms adjustment. Thus we got cold on second day.  And the shower head also broken, the big rain head was loose and easy to fall down.

The location is incredibly convenient, just a two-minute walk from Kaohsiung Arena MRT Station. The hotel was excellent for sleeping – quiet and comfortable, ensuring I slept wonderfully every single night! There are also plenty of delicious small eateries within walking distance, all incredibly tasty. I absolutely loved Kaohsiung!

From metro station exit3 is nearest, however need clim staircase. If have luggage and dont wish to climb staircare then exit 1 for up, exit 2 for down. If not wrong Exit 5 is up&down. This hotel really convinient walking distance to metro station and nearby have a lot nice restaurant. Even night Market also walking distance, the market market only available for 5days (Tue,Thu, Fri,Sat,Sun). Previously booking this hotel saw comment the room is small therefore I top up to get two single bed room since im solo traveller. Really surprising the room is big not smaller than I expected. So worth to top up get spacer room. Very clean and the staff also very friendly and kindness. Really like their breakfast, the portion is big enough, if rushing time not able to finish it… really surprising that they allow me take away…normally the breakfast which include in hotel only for dinning. However they allow it. Therefore I take away another portion and keep for my lunch (my room is include 2pax breakfast- 1 pax I dinning another pax I take away).

The hotel is quite strict with their check in times! Luckily, they do have lugage storage, so if you arrive just a little too early, you can store your luggage there and go about your day until its time for check in. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Kaohsiung railway station. Room was very clean and nicely decorated. The room had a nostalgic smell... a bit like my aunt's basement, which isn't a bad thing, it just reminded me of my childhood back in the US and spending time with family.

The focus of this trip to Kaohsiung is to eat, drink, play and have fun at Ruifeng Night Market. I was surprised when I opened the door😍 The room is large, with a balcony, a large bathtub, MOD movies, a hard bed and a good sleep. There is also a 7-11 downstairs, diagonally opposite. It feels like home. 👍Self-service B&B, very good service (＾Ｏ＾☆♪ The room also has an induction card 🥰 for easy parking. It’s just a 15-minute walk from Ruifeng Night Market! It's much better than the last time we stayed at Ying××× near the night market Next time I come to Kaohsiung, I will come again. 🎊No.16 Youhuo Nong🎊Move in🌹

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Wonderful staff! Whether it's the concierge employees at level 1, or the check-in staff at level 20, or the breakfast staff, everyone is polite and helpful. Fantastic service and facilities. Breakfast is amazing. Everything is perfect, and I strongly encourage visitors to Kaohsiung to stay at H2O hotel!

The hotel's location is good; it's only a few hundred meters from Formosa Boulevard Exit 11. There's a supermarket and a spicy hot pot restaurant across the street, and Liuhe Night Market is just 20 meters behind it. The location is top-notch if you're a night market enthusiast. However, the hotel facilities are very poor. The bathroom, tables, chairs, ceiling, and walls all show significant wear and tear, making it look like a countryside inn. Although the hotel entrance looks grand from the outside, it's definitely not worth the price – it's far too expensive for what you get. The breakfast quality is mediocre, but the cleaning staff and the breakfast restaurant servers were very friendly. The front desk staff, on the other hand, were very unhelpful – the kind who could easily be fired. The hotel claims to be eco-friendly and only provides two bottles of water. Even though both are 'Houshe' hotels, this one is a world apart from the Houshe hotel in Taipei. The pillows were black and dirty; I couldn't even tell what they were made of. The provided slippers were of extremely poor quality; I haven't seen such bad hotel slippers in the past ten years. We chose this hotel in Kaohsiung because we are frequent guests of Houshe Hotel in Taipei, but we regret it. We shouldn't have assumed it would be the same.
