Hotels near Houyi Station, Kaohsiung

The AC is terrible, even you turned up the temperature but not working. As told by front desk, the central supply of AC dominates all rooms adjustment. Thus we got cold on second day.  And the shower head also broken, the big rain head was loose and easy to fall down.

The hygiene and environment were pretty good. The bed was very comfortable. However, I couldn't get the hot water in the shower to a strong flow; only cold water could be turned on full blast. There's a convenience store nearby, and the MRT station is about a ten-minute walk away.

I arrived at the Yushu Business Hotel Boai Branch in the early morning. The location was convenient, and the room was small but acceptable. The air conditioning was extremely cold, even when turned off; it was probably the coldest room I've ever stayed in. The bathroom sink drained very slowly (the pipes might be clogged), and the bathtub faucet kept dripping slightly. There was also some hair left in the bathroom. The breakfast was ordinary, with limited choices, but enough to fill you up.

Clean, spacious hotel, with a very good location. It has an elevator, hot water, wifi and air conditioning. The bed is very comfortable so you can rest very well.

The staff were friendly, and the location is convenient, about a 9-minute walk from Kaohsiung Main Station. However, the facilities are very old, and there's no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up three to five flights of stairs.

Our family really enjoyed this hotel. The room was big spacious. However, the shower was really weird. It was really short so we had to take a bath and couldn’t shower properly. The shower was elevated and definitely could not fit anyone that was more than 4 ft 5”.  This is not a typo. The shower is meant for pretty much kids. If adults stand there, The water will spray everywhere all over the floor. The hotel was really excellent with their communications. We left something important at the hotel and they quickly reached out to us and is able to ship to our next hotel. The location is also unbeatable. Just across the street from the MRT and Kaohsiung station. The HSR station is 5 MRT stops away. We didn’t see many few options right next to the hotel and had to walk about 10 minutes to a local market.

Facilities: A bit old. Hygiene: But the hygiene was very good. Environment: The environment was nice. It's located at Kaohsiung Station, which makes it very convenient to go anywhere. Liuhe Night Market is nearby, with lots of delicious food. Service: The service was excellent. I thought the breakfast was very delicious and suited my taste perfectly. I would choose this place again if I go to Kaohsiung next time.

Pros: The hotel is incredibly close to Kaohsiung Station, just a four or five-minute walk away. This is super convenient for anyone traveling without a car and relying primarily on public transport. The staff were friendly and helpful, always enthusiastic to assist with any issues. Their service definitely enhanced the overall experience. Cons: The soundproofing is really poor. You can hear almost everything happening on the entire floor, whether it's from nearby rooms or further down the hall. It seemed like the guests at this hotel were quite late-nighters; people were still moving around, showering, and using the restroom well past midnight. This would be a problem for light sleepers. Also, there are quite a few rooms on each floor, but only one elevator. During peak hours, you might have to wait a little while. Overall Impression: Overall, my rating is still on the positive side. If I'm ever in Kaohsiung alone again and prioritize convenient transportation, I would definitely consider staying here again. Hotel brief: The ground floor has the reception area and a few sofas for lounging; the second floor houses the restaurant and hot spring area; and all floors from the third upwards are guest rooms, with bathroom facilities on each floor.

Our favorite hotel when we stayed in Taiwan. Great location, little snacks provided, the rooms were fantastic and the view was great. Breakfast was ok. Would definitely recommend to stay when you have a chance!

We had a wonderful stay at Royal Fine Hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, especially during our early checkout at around 5:30 a.m. They kindly carried our luggage and even called a taxi for us, which made the early morning departure so much smoother. The room itself was decent; clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a short stay. The location is also very convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the station. Plus, there are convenience stores, restaurants, and even spa and massage places nearby, which added to the overall ease and comfort of our trip. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a budget-friendly stay with great service and a prime location!
