Hotels near Gushan, Kaohsiung

The room was spacious and comfortable, and the facilities were good. Although it's a bit far from the city center, it's very convenient to get around by bus and light rail. While the automatic check-out is efficient, the front desk lady didn't even look up when I checked out, which knocked a star off my impression of the service.

The receptionists are friendly. They offer free snacks and coffee at the lobby. There’s also free wifi. You can drop off your luggage at the lobby before you check in.

The AC is terrible, even you turned up the temperature but not working. As told by front desk, the central supply of AC dominates all rooms adjustment. Thus we got cold on second day.  And the shower head also broken, the big rain head was loose and easy to fall down.

Good location and clean. All staff friendly and willing to help. Near Central Park which you can take a relaxing walk in the morning and evening with beautiful Santa Claus house decorations.

The hotel is quite strict with their check in times! Luckily, they do have lugage storage, so if you arrive just a little too early, you can store your luggage there and go about your day until its time for check in. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Kaohsiung railway station. Room was very clean and nicely decorated. The room had a nostalgic smell... a bit like my aunt's basement, which isn't a bad thing, it just reminded me of my childhood back in the US and spending time with family.

One of the best hotels I ever stayed in. Super clean, comfortable, staff is super attentive and friendly.. really everything perfect. It was my birthday when I checked out and they even gave me a present.. unbelievably nice! I would always come back here and can highly recommend. And the pool is awesome too! Great place!!

Hotel Just Sleep Kaoshiung is conveniently located between Kaoshiung Main Station and Formosa Boulevard Station. It is also within walking distance to convenience stores and Liuhe Night Market. As for the hotel room, we booked a family room. The room is very spacious for a family of four and our 3 large luggage bags. Plenty of walking spaces too.👍👍 The service is awesome and the reception is warm. Although the aircon for our original room was not working despite the hotel’s attempt to fix it, the staff offered us another room and even allowed us to try out the air con before confirming the room. That really saved us else we would have to suffer due to poor ventilation for the 3 nights’ stays. 👍👍👏👏 As for the hotel wifi, it does not work well. Probably the hotel wants us to just sleep at night and not to surf the internet. Hahaha…. 😁😉 The hotel also offers free usage of the washing machines located at 3rd floor. However the heater is charged at NTD 10 per 10 minutes. Oh a thing to note is that the pillows are too soft to our liking. It is difficult to sleep with it although the mattresses are really firm. 😆😆 din sleep well though. And for our room that faced the main street, it could be noisy in the morning. We could hear the traffic. As for breakfast, the hotel serves it from 6.30am to 10.00am. We booked our room with breakfast, however, we didn’t really get to enjoy the breakfast as we woke up late. So it is really up to individual to decide if they would want to include breakfast in their hotel package. Overall, it is really a decent hotel with friendly staffs who are always ready to offer their service. 🎉🎉👍👍👌👌

The environment is very nice, the price is affordable, the front desk service is very good, and the room has a makeup mirror, which is great. The only minor drawback is that it is close to the main road, so there is some noise, but it doesn't have a big impact.

Breakfast was delivered to the garage at a scheduled time, and it included a braised egg, fruit, a foil-packed drink, and a main course of your choice. It was simple, not a huge portion, but pretty good. The room was very clean, and the bathtub was as big as ever, taking about half an hour to fill. The location was also quite convenient, about an 8-minute walk from the light rail. Overall, pretty good~

They have descent buffet breakfast in the morning which is good to start the day. Near to night market and accessible to train station.
