A wonderful experience in Nanchang! The Jing Feng hotel was excellent, large rooms, really nice service, very clean facilities, and good lunch and breakfast. And the manager, King, was really helpful and friendly. He spoke Eglish fluently and recomended us where to go see . We will go back to Nanchang for sure!!

We had a very nice stay at Ibis. Good location in the city center, close to restaurants, shops, metro. Good Ibis standards for the room. The entrance of the hotel is a bit hidden around the corner of the block. Need to take a lift up to the 3rd floor, no staircase available.

The hotel opened in 2025. You can check in by yourself or at the counter. The service is quite good. The rooms are new and clean, and the size is just right for me. All the necessary facilities are provided. The disposable towels from Haiyou are a big plus! It's about a 10-minute walk from Yongshu Road and Shengjin Pagoda, which is quite convenient. Shengjin Pagoda Park is right next door, and there are plenty of places to eat. Wanshou Palace Street is about a 10-20 minute walk away.

I discovered this hidden gem hotel during my trip to Nanchang. The hotel has a very stylish design, a great location close to many attractions including Bayi Square and Tengwang Pavilion. The rooms were clean and hygienic, the facilities were good, it was newly renovated, the environment was great, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it to my friends. Best hotel in the world.💥 Well, I haven't been to every hotel in the world, but I've stayed in many hotels in many countries, and this one is my absolute favorite. I can never recommend this hotel enough. Their service is better than I've seen anywhere and the staff is beyond friendly! We stayed here for three weeks a year ago, and they all still remember us! The laundry service is unheard of in any other place. You place your dirty clothes in a basket in front of your door, and LATEST the next day it's returned, your clothes clean and ironed. The restaurant is open all day, and you can either order food or eat for free small snacks (drinks, fruits, congee, biscuits....). At 10 pm there is the evening meal, where you get a big bowl of noodles (you can choose the noodles and the sauce). The buffet breakfast is very generous with a lot of choices. Every evening, someone passes by the room to hand out yogurts. The check-out is at 2 pm...! Has anyone seen that anywhere else?! When you come back to the hotel after a day out, the staff will greet you with a ”Welcome home.” Truly love this hotel!

SSalmon0013I stayed at Holiday Inn Express Nanchang Railway Station and had a very good experience overall. The hotel is located right next to the railway station, which may not be the most scenic or tourist-oriented area, but it was exactly what I needed for convenience.
The surroundings are actually quite lively, with plenty of food options nearby. The hotel is connected to or surrounded by a mall full of restaurants and local Jiangxi-style snacks, so finding something to eat is never a problem.
The cleanliness was excellent—rooms were very well maintained and comfortable. The staff were also a highlight of the stay: very helpful, friendly, and professional. The reception staff, in particular, were outstanding and made everything easy.
One thing I really appreciated was the arranged transport to the railway station. Although it was a small paid service (around 10 RMB), it was extremely convenient. The driver knew exactly where to go and dropped me right at the correct entrance using a route that would have been difficult to figure out on my own—especially in the heat.
Breakfast was very good, with a solid selection, mainly Chinese-style. While there aren’t many Western options, the quality is good and the staff are attentive.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel, especially if you need to stay near the railway station. It may not be a destination hotel, but for convenience, service, and comfort, it does the job very well.

I recently stayed at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang and found it to be a pleasant and comfortable experience, offering great value for both business and leisure travelers. Located conveniently in the Honggutan District, the hotel is well-positioned for access to local attractions, shopping centers, and the business hub of the city.
The Good:
1. Comfortable Rooms:
The rooms were modern, clean, and well-maintained, with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the room featured an ergonomic work desk, which was great for getting some work done. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like USB ports and plenty of outlets.
2. Facilities & Amenities:
The hotel offers a well-equipped fitness center, which I made use of during my stay. It’s not a full gym, but it has enough equipment for a quick workout. The business center and meeting rooms also looked professional and seemed perfect for business guests. Complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and stable throughout my stay.
3. Breakfast:
The complimentary breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes. From fresh fruit and pastries to local delicacies like dumplings, there was something for every taste. The breakfast area was clean, and the staff was attentive to refilling items and clearing tables.
4. Service:
The staff at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang were friendly and helpful. Though not everyone was fluent in English, they made a genuine effort to assist with all requests. I felt welcomed throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out was a breeze.
5. Location:
The hotel’s location in Honggutan District made it convenient for accessing both the business district and local attractions like Tengwang Pavilion and Nanchang’s Star of Ferris Wheel. Taxis and public transportation were easy to access from the hotel, making it convenient to explore the city.
The Drawbacks:

While the rooms were clean and comfortable, they weren’t particularly spacious, especially if you’re staying for a longer period or with family. It was fine for a solo traveler or a couple, but families might feel a bit cramped.

While the breakfast was great, the hotel’s on-site dining options beyond breakfast were somewhat limited. There is a small restaurant, but for more varied meal options, you’ll need to explore nearby restaurants or order delivery.

This stay far exceeded my expectations; if I had to describe it in one word, it would be 'breathtaking.'
First, I have to rave about the river view! The room offered an unparalleled vista, directly facing the wide river. Watching the sparkling river during the day instantly lifted my spirits, and at night, it was simply a visual feast.
What impressed me most was the night view across the river. As dusk settled, the buildings on the opposite bank lit up magnificently. The dazzling lights reflected in the water, creating what looked like a flowing galaxy.
The hotel service was also incredibly thoughtful. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing for a peaceful sleep after enjoying the beautiful scenery.
If you're looking for a unique romantic getaway or want to bring family and friends to see a spectacular light show, this place is absolutely the top choice. The next time I visit this city, I'll undoubtedly choose to stay here again!

JJason Zhou WSLocation: The location is not right smack central to all the popular tourist spots but it's close enough to get to 万寿宫 on foot (5 minutes). Also, it is close to the river and if you are lucky enough, you get a room with a fantastic river view!
Cleanliness: The hotel I am not sure if it's new or what but it's very nicely maintained. The beds are good, the sheets are clean and everything is really superb.
Service: Maybe it's just me (Singaporean) cause I am very impressed with their receptionist services like helping me out with payment, booking of car etc etc but all these according to my local friends, they say it's just the basic in service industries~
Facilities: Honestly, if you are here looking for a gym or a pool then sad to say, it's non-existence, even the breakfast I would recommend not to get it unless you are traveling with elderly and they need something to eat early in the morning then for that price point, it's still reasonable. Otherwise, go out hit the streets and there are tons of fantastic food options for you to choose from.
Lastly, overall impression is superb and it's definitely super value for money. In fact for the price I paid I would say it far exceeded in value. Which is the reason why, I will always choose this hotel when I am back in Nanchang~ (I tried other hotels, to be honest, the rooms are not as great)
