"The hotel was clean, and the cleaning was excellent every time. However, they forgot to replace the toilet paper, and we didn't have any for two out of the four days we stayed! 🤣 I booked a room that included breakfast, and the breakfast food was pretty much the same every time, with no major changes. The chili peppers were delicious though! 😋"

GGuest UserHad an amazing stay at Grand Mercure Batam Centre! We stayed at the Deluxe King Room with City View and requested for a higher floor, which they did kindly provide. The best part of the stay was most definitely the service. Everyone was really lovely and friendly, and any requests we had didn't go unheard. Even the security guards were friendly and helpful, assisting my partner to cross the road across the hotel by directing some of the traffic at one point. The breakfast we opted to try on multiple days of our stay was also overally pretty nice, there could be more options but the options that we did have were yummy and refilled often even on busy days. They have a very diverse and large selection of juices, teas, milk and even a coffee machine. Even the water was infused water which was very refreshing. The desserts and bread selection really stand out as well because of the large variety they had! There are even fresh fruits of various kinds beyond the typical hotel breakfast fruits. Highly recommend trying out the hotel breakfast at least once during a stay there. The only negative feedback we had is probably that we noticed some scratches on the furniture, parts of the wall behind the headboard had markings/scratches and had peeled. These were very small details that were on some of the other furniture or walls as well. While they weren't serious and didn't bother us, we hope that the hotel management will continue to maintain and lookout for these small details on the property once in a while. Even with that, it was a small matter as everything worked well and was really clean. It was an amazing stay! They also provide a shuttle bus service with 2 timings to Mega Mall Batam. However, One Batam Mall is also a 10min walk away and is fairly easy to navigate to/walk due to a pedestrian sidewalk on one side of the hotel entrance. Indomaret is also nearby for buying water; the hotel provides 4 glass bottles of water daily, it wasn't enough for us but we did not want to constantly bother the staff to be providing water. I would say that a water dispenser on certain floors would improve the sustainability efforts and reduce the need for requesting glass bottles from the staff or purchasing water outside. All that aside, we hope to stay again and can't wait to see Grand Mercure Batam continue to establish its place in the hotel industry of Batam!

GGuest UserI chose this hotel because I saw reviews on various platforms stating that sauna facilities were available. I am looking for hotel/s with Sauna !! My real intention. Compared to other hotels with saunas, the price here was very reasonable given the luxurious facilities and surroundings, which made me choose this hotel. However, I was quite disappointed when I arrived and asked the reception, only to find out that the spa and sauna services had long been discontinued / are under renovation. I honestly don’t have any other reason to stay here. That being said, I was very satisfied with the room. It was clean, 5-star standard, had a bathtub, the TV worked perfectly, and overall I was very excited and happy. The hotel facilities and environment were also beautiful and impressive – the lobby was elegant and exclusive, the lift area leading to the rooms was spacious and luxurious, the swimming pool was large and beautiful, the café was wide with delicious food, and paid spa services were also available. To sum up, everything was beautiful and luxurious, and I was very satisfied – definitely a stay worth the money. The only downside was not being able to experience the sauna. That’s it. 4/5 stars. Tip top.

AAnonymous UserOverall,I had a pleasant stay at the apartment. The room was quite spacious,clean and comfortable providing everything I needed to unwind after a long day. The atmosphere was relaxing and it felt like good value for the quality provided. I really enjoyed the night with my partner. It left us with sweet memories. Amenities and facilities are all accessible with the apartment itself.

RRUOCHENPros: The room decoration is good; the wifi speed is good; the air-conditioning refrigerator is good; the TV can watch YouTube; check-in half an hour in advance; the staff is very enthusiastic when introducing the situation; the cooking utensils are good; you can buy things in the supermarket do.
Cons: The water heater is not easy to use, at most it only produces warm water; there are many ants in the room, especially the toilets; the hotel is in a bad location, and you have to take a taxi everywhere; there are only two small shops nearby for food, and the clerk does not speak English. Translate through other customers or look at the calculator with gestures.

GGuest UserSmall living room. The heater not hot but we are ok with cool water to bathe. We enjoy our night watch Netflix. The apartment has a mall but only 1 cafe and few shops. The area outside has only 1 hotpot available and a cafe. We walk out to the morning bakery about 7min away took a grab back apartment at around 20000 rupiah. We also took a grab car to maha temple for 4of us at idr22000. I can see the mosque that is at the batam center. Better prepare own hair shampoo and conditioner. 2queen and 1 mattress on floor available. Morning can hear the prayers. We also order grab food as we are jus lazy to go out at night. The place is really near city center by grab. Room is clean. No toilet roll and no guardian in mall. High floor with Seaview.
