"The location was great. Good views with a beach. Beds and shower were clean. Fantastic reception service. A little bit pricy but worth it."

"We stayed at the Taj Mahal Palace for 5 days and 4 nights as a couple, and our experience was truly unforgettable. We were thrilled to receive a complimentary upgrade from the Tower to the Palace wing, which made our stay even more special. The welcoming ceremony set a beautiful tone, and the complimentary drinks and chocolates sent to our room were a thoughtful touch—especially the hot chocolate, which was honestly the best we’ve ever tasted. The breakfast buffet had a good spread, and everything we tried was delicious. The à la carte portions were perfect as well. A special mention to Kiran, our waiter, who was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was always spotless thanks to Sachin, our housekeeper. His attention to detail truly impressed us—flower-petal art on the floor, towels neatly placed under our shoes, and beautifully arranged toiletries. These thoughtful touches made us feel genuinely cared for. We also want to highlight Sapna from the front desk, who went above and beyond to arrange breakfast to be sent to our room on our last day since we had an early morning flight. Her efficiency and kindness made our departure smooth and stress-free. K. Singh, the bell boy, was always welcoming with a pleasant smile and ensured we felt comfortable each time we entered or left the hotel. The gym was well-equipped and enjoyable to use, rounding off a perfect stay. Overall, our time at the Taj Mahal Palace was exceptional from start to finish. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and will definitely return soon."

"Very good hotel! Great pool on the roof and the roof terrace is also great. The service in the restaurant was also good!"

"I had a truly enjoyable and wonderful stay at the hotel. The location is unbeatable, making it easy to get around and explore. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and well taken care of. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable — everything I needed for a relaxing and satisfying stay. The breakfast was excellent — fresh, delicious, and with a great variety to choose from. The service throughout my stay was outstanding; the staff was warm, professional, and always ready to help. Great food, exceptional service, and the perfect location made this a memorable stay. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend it to others!"

"Great stay! Can easily walk over to the Kala Ghoda district, Gateway of India, Colaba Shopping Street, the Victorian Gothic and Art Deco Ensembles, the Fashion Street and the Chhatrapati Sivaji Maharaj Terminus. Found a nice seafood restaurant Mahesh Lunch Room just a block away."

"Great value for money. Superb location. New metro line opp the hotel. Great food as well"

"Friendly staff, great location and clean rooms."

"The hotel staff is extremely nice and helpful: I had few requests during my stay and everything was kindly and efficiently accommodated. The location at the Marine Drive is nice as only steps away from the promenade and few restaurants around; view from the room is amazing! Moreover, Colaba is easy to reach by foot with a 15 mins walk: overall the position is ok for tourism. If you are there for business and you need to travel across the city (especially towards the airport side), it's maybe not the best option to pick, better to choose something more central. Breakfast buffet was amazing and delicious, everything felt extremely fresh. Only small cons were: - the gym which is quite small and lack some basic machines like bikes, but what is there is all Techno-gym and new! - the overall finishing that feel a bit old (but very well kept), which is why - I guess - it's good value for money overall."

"Excellent hotel, three minutes from the Gateway of India, within walking distance of all the famous attractions. We got a great clean room on the second floor, small, with all the amenities. There is a kettle in the room, water is replenished every day, there is tea, coffee in bags. The bathroom is well stocked with toiletries: shampoo / gel / balm / lotion, caps for rush, a small comb and a set of a file, adhesive plaster and cotton balls and sticks. The staff speaks good English, very friendly, free and without problems checked in at 9 am, asked what time it would be convenient to check out. We said 2 pm and they happily agreed without any questions. Simply excellent attitude to guests! I liked the breakfast, they fry fresh eggs for every taste, and also a varied table: lots of sandwiches with vegetables, Indian dishes, excellent cheese (including processed cheese), delicious coffee from the coffee machine, freshly squeezed juices! The hotel is definitely one of the best in this area! ❤️"
