The location is absolutely unbeatable! It's right across from the outlet mall, and the train station is only a three-minute walk away. Plus, the airport bus stop is right in front of the hotel. There are tons of dining options nearby too (no queues at Hama Sushi and Qibao Spicy Hotpot here!). If you walk past the station, there's a large Aeon supermarket, which is great for picking up daily necessities. The hotel itself isn't new, but it's clean, tidy, and quite spacious. The staff are polite, friendly, and provide excellent service. Very satisfied!

The hotel is conveniently located on the west side of Chiba Central Park, very close to the Yoshikawa Park monorail station. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to Chiba-Chuo Station.
The room I had was only partially renovated, and the bathroom fixtures felt quite old-fashioned, though the bedding was decent. The room itself was pretty spacious, but not as large as stated on Trip.com; I'd estimate it to be around 20-22 square meters. It came with two single beds, two chairs, and a tea table.
Dining options nearby are plentiful, but if you're looking for shopping, I'd recommend SOGO and BIC CAMERA near Chiba-Chuo Station for a wider selection.
Breakfast is a buffet, costing 1980 JPY per person. It offers both Japanese and Western options, providing good value for money with a wide variety and tasty dishes. You can even try Chiba's local specialty, the Rakka Peanuts Monaka.
Nearby attractions include Chiba Port, Inohana Castle Ruins, and Kisarazu Outlet Park. Getting to Makuhari Messe is also quite convenient from here.

I stayed here to take part in an event at Makuhari Messe.
It's a little far from the station, but it was helpful that a shuttle bus came to pick me up every 20 minutes.
The bus driver and front desk staff were all very friendly.
I was very grateful that they could store my luggage for me after checking out.
The room was nicely cleaned, and the bathtub was spacious and very relaxing.
There was an outlet by the bed, and it was convenient to be able to plug in a USB.
There was a mirror on the wall and a mirror on the stand, which was great.
I wish there was a full-body mirror as well.
I'd like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

This is a very traditional Japanese capsule hotel, similar to a Chinese bathhouse. The hot tub is very comfortable, the sauna is complete, and the massage chairs are also very good. There's even a desktop computer, printer, office chair, and book bar. It's very nice, except that my roommate snores. China should learn from Japan. I also maintain hygiene at all times, maintain the image of Chinese tourists, and respect Japanese customs.

Didn't enjoy my stay here due to the poor sound proofing. I could hear my neighbours in the middle of the night for both nights I was there (up to 1am and 3am respectively). Had to call the front desk to stop but it didn't help. People were laughing loudly and talking loudly in Japanese. Seems like they gathering there for some party.
Breakfast was really bad too. This is the worst hotel breakfast I ever had. Only the view (21F sky lounge venue) was nice. Don't pay extra for this.
Room is quite run down and the toilet bathroom as well. Didn't use it but go to the onsen instead.
Parking is 1000yen per night and you are allowed to enter and exit many times.
Pros:
Next building there's a Donki and lawson
Opp is a 7-11
Onsen is nice

This time, I was looking for a place to stay around Makuhari for an event, and this place was reasonably priced, so I stayed there for two nights.
It was a quiet place and fairly close to the station. Breakfast was served in a buffet style next to the reception lobby and was delicious.

The hotel is very good. The double bed room is big enough for two people to sleep. The room is large enough. The service is also very good. No problem even if you don't speak Japanese. Very user-friendly. Stayed for five days without any problems. The tissues are peach-flavored and very fragrant. There are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby.

The location is fantastic, right in front of Chiba Station, just a few minutes' walk away, and there's a convenience store downstairs. The hotel service is great; the self check-in machine has Chinese language options, and the front desk provides a good selection of complimentary toiletries, which is very convenient. The room size is a bit small, but that's normal for Japan. Overall, it's very good.

GGuest User2025.12.17
I booked a non-smoking single room on Trip.com and it was confirmed without issues. There are English-speaking staff at this hotel. They were helpful and allowed me and my friends to keep our luggage in their back room when we arrived too early for check-in. Although we came back late, check-in was seamless and we received our room key cards quickly. There is a 9000 Yen fine for losing a room key card. For a single room, the toilet with bathroom and shower would be a bit small if a guest is tall or heavily built. I'm petite, so I had no problems with the toilet. Bed looks like a super single and is quite comfortable with 2 mid-size pillows and a small cushion.
The cafe at the hotel was closed throughout my stay, but the hotel is a short walk from Chibaminato train station and there is a supermarket, bakery and soba place there, so it is very convenient to find food quickly.

Amazing
KKuznetsovEEThe hotel is conveniently located, about a 5-minute walk from the station.
The staff are very friendly, and the hotel feels new overall. However, there were a few minor imperfections in my room, such as a chipped corner of the baseboard.
I stayed in December and used the air conditioner for heating, which worked fine.
Breakfast is served on the 2nd floor, with access by room key via the elevator. The selection is quite good and includes European options. The menu changes slightly, so it does not get boring. There are signs asking guests to return their used trays themselves, so please keep that in mind.
Regarding the signs, I was surprised that in this hotel you need to specifically request room cleaning at the reception. I have stayed in many hotels where the door sign has two sides, “Do Not Disturb” and “Please Clean the Room”. Here, the sign had only one side, “Do Not Disturb”. I think this is something the hotel could improve, as it is not very convenient to ask for room cleaning separately.
It would also be helpful to add more English translations. For example, all the buttons on the TV remote control are labeled only in Japanese, and the notice on the slippers saying “please do not take them home” is also only in Japanese. I can understand some Japanese, but for other foreign guests this may be confusing.
GGuest UserAlready our second stay at JR East Hotel Mets Premier Makuhari Toyosuna in just a few months, and once again, we picked it for its unbeatable location. It’s literally just steps away from Makuhari Toyosuna JR Station, with a fully covered walkway leading straight to the entrance, so even in heavy rain or snow, you’ll stay completely dry. This time, our room was at the far end of the floor, and the layout felt even more efficient—no wasted space, everything thoughtfully designed. The room was clean and spacious, with a massage chair and a Dyson hair dryer. The bed was very comfortable too. Breakfast didn’t have a huge variety, but every dish was nicely made, and the seasonal items even came with clear explanations in both Japanese and English. What really stands out is how generous the hotel is with amenities. Guests can freely pick up skincare products, face masks, bath salts, and other self-care items from the lobby, plus there’s a complimentary coffee machine for a quick caffeine fix anytime.Another big plus is the convenience store right inside the hotel, perfect for grabbing a snack or drink. With Aeon Mall, Muji, Uniqlo, Costco, etc. all nearby, it’s truly the perfect location for shopping and picking up souvenirs. We shall definitely return very soon in our next trip.
MMurahariConveniently located just 2 mins walk from Kaihimmakuhari Station with easy access to nearby AEON shopping malls and various food outlets. Also ideally within minutes walking distance from Makuhari Messe Convention and Exhibition halls, makes Shuranza a recommended choice. As a plus, the in-house onsen is a welcome respite after a long day roaming around convention venues. Will definetly return for future visits.
GGuest UserFrom NRT go to CHIBA. Then take a train via Keisei to CHIBA CHUO. Uulitin ku, CHUO. Dalawa kc ung Daiwa Roynet. Itong Hotel na to tapat ng KEISEI Hotel. If Value for money, super YES. Service wise! Apaka ganda! This is a business hotel, kya full service cla. Di na aku nag avail ng breakfast kc nga, bawat sulok may kainan. Since this is 1.5 hours from tokyo. Laking tipid dito. Ung pamasahe from chiba to tokyo nsa 300-500 pesos lang. Para ka lang nag taxi. Di kna lugi. Got it for a special. Nsa 2k lang per night. Mas ok dito kesa capsule na para kang nasa loob ng crematorium. Ahaha 🤣 Sana after ng review na to di cla mag taas ng price. Ahaha
SSarocha SiriaksornThe location was superb! It's the same building as Chibachuo station and surrounded by mini marts and restaurants. And it's 10 mins walk to Chiba Port Arena.
The staff were nice and willing to help. However, I booked for non-smoking room but still smelled cigarette smoke in my room. Especially in the night. I guess it came from the other room :(
EEleonor thinks...The location is very convenient, with easy access to train stations and nearby malls. The room is spacious and comes with complete amenities. I also appreciated the quality coffee drip and other provided items.
The hotel does show some signs of age, particularly with the carpet, but it doesn’t feel musty. One area for improvement would be more thorough cleaning in the corners of the tub and sink.
Overall, it’s a great place to stay and definitely worth considering.
Btw, they have great staff, too.
GGuest UserThe location is super convenient, just about a five-minute walk from the subway station. The hotel lobby is really grand and gilded! The room size is decent, and the panoramic elevators offer great night views. Nearby, you'll find an outlet mall, Aeon, McDonald's, and convenience stores. There don't seem to be many drugstores around, but they do offer luggage storage.
WwtfisheryService from the staff was nice.. facilities was okay.. location was near the train station.. we didnt like the vibe of the area especially at night.. felt like the security in the area was very very poor. there are always a lot people camping around from the train station all the way to the hotel, trying to prey on people who are alone. they are always staring at me and my husband everytime we walk back from the train station. during our 1st night stay, my husband went down to the nearby combini alone and an obaasan kept following him asking if he wants massage service from hotel to combini and back to the hotel. then another night, we saw 1 girl got cornered by a group of guys while walking back to the hotel. she was obviously distressed but we are couldnt do anything since we are outnumbered. we didnt want to get into trouble so we can only walk away with guilt as fast as we could back to the hotel. drunk people everywhere. no police in sight during the few nights we were there as well. overall, definitely no issue with the hotel but we will not return to Chiba again.
RRyokoConvenient near the station. There are restaurants around and it is substantial. Arrived late at night, but it was smooth with automatic check-in. Breakfast is free and you wake up slowly in the morning and eat breakfast and leave. Because the breakfast venue is small, it is crowded because it was a holiday, so it is good that the hotel side devises so that the guests do not overlap too much.
LLini KaloumairaIt’s an older motel with front of house staff that have been working in the hospitality industry for a while. I arrived before the check in time (3pm ~), I was checked in just before 3pm which I didn’t expect. Courteous, friendly staff.
Breakfast was included in the 2 night stay - it was a simple Japanese meal that was easy sustenance - free servings of rice and soup. The staff made it a homely atmosphere with constant attention to guests asking them if they wanted more of what was available.
Room 720 faced the busy Highway but also had a great view that included sky tree. I could open the large single pane window and thought it was a unique point.
Cleaning staff were mainly foreign, all young and polite also. They knocked on doors to ask if rubbish needed removing and rooms cleaned.
I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant on 10F or the public bath and sauna - maybe next time.
suggestions:
(1) housekeeping: a quick dusting by cleaning staff (feather duster if not wet tissues) - the hotel is clean and even though it isn’t a 5 star hotel it makes a difference. The feather duster can easily reach corners of drawers and tables. Bathroom air filters can easily be cleaned with wet tissues.
(2) room cards for cleaning- more specific than a don’t disturb card. it will save time for housekeepers as they knock on room doors to ask if rooms need to be cleaned. They can focus on cleaning and do a better job on a hotel that has been kept going for a while.
