"wonderful stay at Debom Rest! clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. staff friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt welcomed throughout our stay. had dinner at hotel restaurant, avocado drink was awesome! food was another highlight – fresh, flavorful, and with a good variety of both local and international dishes. breakfast was ok only though. overall will recommend for anyone visiting Kandy – we would definitely stay here again!"

Fresh towels given each day and rooms cleaned daily. Room included the following amenities, free wifi, toiletries, safe, air conditioning, complementary bottled water. Hotel in a convenient location; 15 minutes from Kandy railway station. Nearby attractions include Kandy Lake (5 minutes -walking distance) and The temple of the sacred Tooth Relic (10 minutes -walking distance)"

"The best location close to the temple and to the show. The staff was very nice and help us with everything. The room is beautiful that let us feel the vibe of Sri Lanka. Recommend."

"Absolutely stunning, giant compound with an extensive history! They even offer a history walking tour but unfortunately there weren’t enough people signed up to make the tour happen. If you’re looking for a “colonial” stay, this is a great place. I recommend just walking around to see it for yourself. It’s also right on Kandy Lake, so it’s a nice walk (and not too far from the Kandyan Culture Center and the Sacred Tooth Temple Meals were good, but service sometimes is a little messy. Buffet was missing things like tongs or a cloth over the tray handles (which were hot to touch), but there’s a lot of servers walking around so I’m sure they’ll be able to do double-checks on this"

"We had an amazing stay. The house is located at the very top of the hill, so we had the best view from our room. We would also like to thank the lady and Mr. Dinesh, our driver, from the bottom of our hearts, for their help and kindness. He even gave us a gift on our departure🥹 we can’t wait to visit Kandy again!"
