This homestay is really beautiful. Although it is deep in the alley, the arrangement is very considerate. The front desk can help call a tuk-tuk to go to restaurants near the beach. The whole hotel is right by the canal, with different birds and wild peacocks visiting on the balcony. The facilities and equipment are also new. The only drawback is that it is very close to the canal. If it rains at night, the rain is really loud... and there will be small insects visiting the room. But the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. It is a very good accommodation experience.

We had an amazing stay! A special shout-out to the incredible food: we opted for the half-board meals, and every dish was delicious, expertly prepared, and offered with a fantastic variety. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, the flavors and presentation exceeded our expectations. The service was absolutely brilliant—every member of the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely dedicated to making our experience unforgettable. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive care during meals, the personnel truly went above and beyond. The spa treatments were the cherry on top of our stay. The facilities were immaculate, the atmosphere serene, and the therapists highly skilled. It was the perfect way to unwind and feel completely pampered. We can't wait to return and highly recommend this place to anyone seeking an exceptional getaway!

The room exceeded my expectations. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The view was stunning, absolutely gorgeous! The service was also impeccable. There are only six rooms available, making it very private and quiet. Restaurants are just a short taxi ride away; the beach is beautiful.

We stayed for 6 nights with breakfast included — and honestly, it felt like a little home in paradise. 🌴 From the moment we arrived, the hosts (couple) were incredibly warm and welcoming. They always made sure everything was comfortable. The place itself is tucked away from the noise, so it’s peaceful but still just a short walk to the beach, cafes, and restos. The room was clean, spacious, and cozy, with great natural light and good AC — perfect after a long beach day. The Wi-Fi was reliable as well. Breakfast every morning was freshly made and absolutely delicious — fruits, eggs, toast, and the kind of Sri Lankan fruit juice that makes you want to stay forever. 🍳☕ What stood out most was the hospitality. The owners went above and beyond to help us with any query we had. You can really feel the care and kindness in this family-run place. If you’re looking for a quiet, clean, and genuinely friendly stay in Mirissa, Village Star Rest deserves all the stars. 🌟 Highly recommended — We would love to come back again!

A beautiful hotel! Would highly recommend to anyone, the staff are absolutely wonderful and hospitable. The food is 10/10 and the rooms are lovely. A nice slice of heaven on the beach. Will definitely be back!

My wife and i had a fantastic stay at coral beach hotel. Very friendly staff. They even gave my wife a lovely gift on our departure. Highly recommended. Watch the surfers from your own private balcony un the sunshine.

Excellent location. Quite nearby to mirissa harbour and weligama. Liked the property. They arranged a candle lit dinner setting nearby beach as it was my honeymoon on request for no additional charges. Liked the beach, the swimming facilities and the buffet for dinner as well as breakfast. Arranged breakfast box as i had to go on whale watching and would have missed my breakfast. Very nice staff. Only thing they can improve is a bit quick on service as we had to call multiple times for getting our room cleaned.
