"A good hotel with a good location close to esplanade, restaurants, shops and nightlife. The room had good space and the beds were big enough to accommodate our family of 4. The staff is friendly and service minded, even helping with last minute changes. Good breakfast with possibility to eat outside. Only negative is that the pool is a little small."

"I had a great stay at Capitanos! The location was incredibly convenient—just a short walk from the beautiful beaches and close to major supermarkets like Coles, which made picking up essentials really easy. There were also several good bars and restaurants nearby, offering plenty of dining options without having to go far. The highlight, though, was the staff. They were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with a smile. Whether it was answering questions, giving local tips, or just creating a welcoming atmosphere, their service really stood out. Overall, Capitanos offered a comfortable and well-located base for exploring the area. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting!"

"Hotel in great location, decor and amenities abit dated as there was no casting to tv and logging on too the internet read as a $10 charge but on inquiry was free. In saying that they were minor inconveniences. Room was clean was a big space for a short stay. Bed was comfy and good water pressure in shower. Big pool and moderate gym not the best nor the worse I have experience in a hotel. Overall I would say 4/5 stay well priced for anyone that wants to be close to Mitchell st and the esplanade."

"Perfect location right in middle of Darwin city. Basic amenities, friendly and supportive staff but rooms could do with some upgrades eg although the rusty old fridge in the room worked, it doesn't look good. Pool was nice for a swim to get away from the heat."

"The location is very good and easy to find. The hotel has breakfast and can be booked in advance, which is more convenient. The carpet in the room is about color, it looks old and not too refreshing."

"Our family of four stayed for 5 nights in June. The apartment is clean and spacious. Kitchen is self catering and fully equipped. Supermarket is 10mins walk away. Strong Wifi connection. Cullen Bay and Mindil Beach is a 5 mins drive away."

"The location is perfect but this place do not have a daily cleaning and no restaurant on site.  The staff are very friendly and helpful though The aircon brokedown for a night and it was really hot.  Bins inside the room are too small given that the cleaning doesnt come everyday. They said it's every 7th day. We stayed for 4 nights by the way. Will definitely have to ask this everytime I book Mantra hotels"
