Ibis Sarlat

The room was basic but clean and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The bar is open 24 hours a day and breakfast is served from 4 a.m. until 10 or 10.30. There are also snacks and light dishes available. Parking is free, inside and out.

Just had the weekend in Sarlat, picked the Ibis for its location and free parking, on arrival check in was swift, no complications, Room was clean and big enough one didnt hit the bed when walking around, Bathroom was adequate and Staff couldnt do enough, always proactive if we wanted something and we could get a night cap at the Bar before bed, didnt take breakfast but it looked good going by how many guests were partaking, an enjoyable stay, have to mention Sarah at reception who was just perfect when we had a request or needed information, Thank you Guys

A pleasant stay, good location, easy walking distance to town Centre, free parking, swift check in, ample space in rooms, clean and fresh. Very helpful staff, thank you Sarah for always assisting us if we had a question, needed information or just wanted to grab a coffee, would definately stay again if in Sarlat

Excellent little hotel close to the center of Sarlat. Very comfortable and clean, especially for the price. The lady at check in was very kind and helped me with a kettle to make some tea in the room. We arrived late (1:30am) but we were happy they waited up for us especially after all the flight cancellations. Upon checkout everyone was friendly. Would stay there again!

They’ve made a good effort to do things ecologically. The room and bathroom were fine. I liked having a window that opened. However, why does France not use window screens to keep the mosquitoes out? Anyway, good sized room. Nice breakfast area and round the clock snacks available. The big negative for me was the horrible condition of the bed. It was like a mountain in the middle where 2 single beds were joined, and a deep valley on each side. 4 nights sleeping in a hammock. I didn’t ask for another room because the hotel seemed pretty full, and probably the same quality bed in other rooms. It was super uncomfortable, especially with the spinal problems I have.

For our stay in Sarlat-La-Canéda we had booked 2 rooms for 2 nights for 4 people, including breakfast. The staff was friendly, breakfast reasonable, as a tour bus had arrived and there was a shortage of staff for breakfast. We had also booked breakfast through Booking for € 10.50 and we were charged € 12.50, so € 16 too much for 4 people. At the reception Mrs. Bettina told us that the boss was not there, but it was going to be refunded, which has not happened yet, we wrote to booking and the hotel, but no response from both sides, so no more stay in Ibis Sarlat Center, and also we have our doubts about ***********.

A standard basic Ibis about a 20 minute walk from Sarlat's centre. Excellent car parking with direct access to the lift from its underground section. Very basic bar where a good breakfast is served. Opposite a very good restaurant. .

The best attributes of Ibis Sarlat are easy walking distance to the town centre and secure on-site parking. Otherwise, it seemed like most other Ibis hotels where we've stayed. A relatively compact room with fairly comfortable bed and adequate bathroom facilities. No extras such as in-room tea or coffee making or fridge. Overall it was fine for a three-night stay and the advance booking rate was very good.
