On arrival the receptionist was very helpful, Room was clean , beds comfortable ,we found the room very warm and was unable to open the window room 311, not a very view from this room. Hotel was full so unable to get another room . We had evening meal in the restaurant .food was excellent, and our waiter was very helpful. We had breakfast the following morning, but found that the bacon and black pudding was overdone as was the fried egg. But we should of waited for the Fresh cooked food to come out of the kitchen. Idid mention this to the waitress. Breakfast was the only downside to our stay

A line of sea views, good location. The environment is OK, that is, the room and bathroom space is small. It is recommended to order breakfast + dinner to save money. The price of hotel meals is not expensive, and the nearby restaurants are more expensive. Dinner burdock and dessert are good. Parking is convenient and free.
Cozy room with all things we need. Location is great. Very close to tram station and promenade. Staffs are cheerful. Breakfast was great.

A great guest house run by a Chinese couple. The decoration is very exquisite, the hygiene is very tidy, and the common facilities are all available. Breakfast is included and is very delicious and rich in variety. There is a parking lot attached, which can park about 10 cars, so you don't have to worry about street parking. The boss is warm and thoughtful, the service is very considerate, and the communication is very pleasant. Had a very nice holiday in Llandudno.
The hotel is not far from the beach, although it is not directly facing the beach, but you can still see the hotel facilities. Although it is a bit old, it is still clean. The room has free costa coffee capsules. Milk and mineral water in the refrigerator are free 15 pounds per person. The breakfast is also very good with a sea view The price-performance ratio of this hotel is still very recommended. There are many restaurants when you go out. It takes only 2 minutes to walk to the small train on Mount Ohm

The room was clean and tidy, the bay window was well lit, the facilities were very basic, the bathroom was newly renovated, not bad, the hook for hanging towels was not enough, and the bath towels and face towels for one person were enough.

Outstanding
GGuest UserThe location is very good, right next to the pier, with sainsbury's local and many restaurants nearby. Staffs are kind and polite, and took the initiative to introduce us to sightseeing spots.
The toilet is a bit small, and the hot water is unstable. Shampoo and shower gel are provided, but need to bring own toothbrush and toothpaste.
GGeoffreySoon has we walked into the Premier inn, Llandudno,
We were welcomed by a pleasant, polite ,friendly young man,
Booked in, in seconds,he told us our options for meals,
The room was nice and tidy and very quiet. The staff working on the bar were polite also. The young lady on reception in the morning ( has we were leaving)was pleasant and polite too. Overall a great stay.
YYiyu=v=With very, very good staff, the room facilities may be a bit aging, timely feedback can get prompt service, such as a short time can not solve the situation will help change the room. The network signal in the room will be weak (there will be Wi-Fi/traffic difficulties, which is caused by the problem of the building itself, the network signal in the G floor is very good)
Going out to the right is the beach. There are many restaurants on the left side street, of course, you can also eat in the hotel (the hotel is loved by local old people, there will be music activities at night (I don't know if it is fixed)
GGuest UserWe just had an overnight stay but everything went swimmingly. Smooth, friendly chech in; lovely room with good space, two comfy arm chairs and a good view, spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Parking was easy. Nice restaurant with good choice of menu. Chef clearly respects his vegetables. Exceeded expectations.
MMichaelGreat hotel, the lady at reception was friendly and helpful. The booking website missed mentioning that we had a small dog with us, however, the nice lady at reception explained that to us. Instead of turning us down, she let us stay. Thank you
VVishalExcellent welcome and no hassles with front desk. Lady was very generous in sharing Information about place. Very nice room with sea view. Excellent experience, wish could had more time.
KKseniaMy dad and I stayed at Bryn Y Don in Llandudno, and it was lovely! The location is spot-on—really close to the promenade and the pier and everything we wanted to see. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was served right on time every morning, and it was tasty and fresh. Overall, very nice place to stay at.

Very Good
GGuest UserAlthough good view, the walls between rooms are useless, There is no privacy you can hear the slightest sound from next door. This really is a big problem especially when next door has their TV on very early in morning....Window needs netting.

GGuest UserA lift available to all floors, room was nice and clean, en-suite was also clean and tidy with underfloor heating, which was a nice surprise., reception area was nice and tidy too, shown how to use the front door as it gets locked in the evening. Chose to eat breakfast at the hotel, full breakfast from £8.50p with a vegetarian option, no evening meals available but other hotels near by and some pubs serve food. Saturday morning I went around the Great Orme it really does have fantastic views, benches are dotted around so you can sit and take in the views.
GGuest UserMy wife and I stayed at The Grand hotel from 03/05/24 to 06/05/24. The location of this hotel is excellent with lovely views over the Irish sea. I paid extra for a sea view as we wanted to look out over the sea.
When my wife and I entered the room after checking in we found that the room and the bathroom were very clean and tidy, we couldn't fault the cleanliness. Our room had a kettle and a coffee machine which was good, but Kenco coffee, which is not so good, bad tasting coffee. Also, in the room is mobile electric radiators, which we did use even though it was the month of May!
Also, there was always plenty of hot water to have a nice warm shower. That's the plus side of my review.
Now the negative side: The hotel itself is old, in its heyday, I think that it would have been a very impressive building. But now in 2024, it needs a good refurbishment which would cost £millions.
We noticed in the bedroom that was allocated to us that there were no bedside tables/cabinets, also, no bedside lights. This, we thought, was rather strange as every hotel that we have stayed in has bedside lamps.
The bedroom furniture was kind of weird. As my wife said: ” it looks like the hotel owners have bought it from a charity shop”! See photos attached.
Another negative is that the hotel doesn't have its own parking facilities. Residents are required to park in the street and at a daily cost of £7, which I had to pay for 2 days, as the third day we checked out before 10am. We only discovered after arriving in the hotel that there is no wifi in the rooms! Both of us were shocked by this to say the least. But, if guests want wifi access in the rooms then they have to pay. I think that reception told us that it's £7.00 or £7.50 per day! After paying £423 for 3 nights I thought that it was outrageous for the hotel reception to ask for £7.50 for wifi access. But they said that it is the owner's policy, owner being Britannia. Well, Britannia didn't get £7 - £7.50 from us.
So; we will definitely avoid staying at a hotel in the future which is owned and run by the Britannia Group, unless they change their wifi policy for their rooms.
