"When you go out and turn right, you will find the Rhone River. Wild swans and pairs of mandarin ducks can be seen everywhere in the river. The water quality is very good. There is a tree-lined road on the right side of the road, which is very suitable for friends who like to run."
"I had a great stay, and will definitely be back! The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, the hotel itself was clean and tastefully decorated, and I had quite possibly the best cocktails of my life at their bar. Very well located with the train just in front of the property that can take you anywhere you need to go, and is only a few stops away from the central station to catch your train out of the city. Also dog friendly! Highly recommend."

"There is nothing in the room. You need to bring your own slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, and towels. The location is a bit strange. I left early the next morning and wanted to ask the hotel if they could pack bread. The attitude of the guy at the front desk was rather perfunctory. It was not my business and I had no idea. The advance payment was forcibly deducted and has not been returned yet. I am so scared!"
"I was disappointed because even when I said I was celebrating a special date, they didn't do anything... not a letter, nothing. I requested and paid for early check in, they assured me that the room would be ready at 11am and it was only at 12pm that I got the room. I asked for a dental kit, in addition to the absurd cost of €6.50 (when in most hotels it is completely free) they also told me that if I wanted it I had to go to reception and no one would bring it to the room. The service and care is by no means a 4* hotel. On the morning of check out, they opened the room door 3 times, one of them while I was in the shower, it wasn't yet 11am and check out was only at 12pm."
"Checked in at midnight, the black guy at the front desk was not very skilled, and it took about 10 minutes to complete the process.
The guy couldn't express himself fluently in English, and said a bunch of things, ”You need to pay in currency, because you will stay for 3 days, to prevent you from taking things from the hotel, you need to prepay 150 euros by credit card”
The hotel facilities are good overall. The only thing is that the bathroom doesn't even have a door, and the bathroom floor is very slippery.
The transportation is very convenient, there is a tram downstairs."
"We stayed at a double room in the Sofitel in Lyon for a total of 3 nights in the summer of 2023.
The hotel is located just a few streets from the Place Bellecour which is one of the main squares in Lyon. It is also about 5 minutes away from many cafes, bistros and a large supermarket (Monop’) near Place Bellecour.
The room itself was a fairly standard double room (approximately 20 square metres). The interior and furnishings of the hotel look a bit dated but they were fine and did not matter in any material way. The minibar is complimentary and it is restocked daily with bottled water (still and sparkling), fruit juice, coca cola, and dried fruits and nuts.
The bed was nice and comfortable and the pillows were firm. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning was not very consistent and it would turn off in the middle of the night. It is not an issue if you are staying here in the winter but it made it difficult to sleep at night in the summer.
The staff were all very nice and pleasant. The concierge was especially friendly and he helped us to store our bags and arrange for a taxi to the train station on our last day.
We paid approximately EUR250 a night and we thought it was worth the price."
"I booked a single room, but it was paid for 30 € and changed to a luxurious room in a double room. I didn't know why I was paid because I couldn't speak English, but was the room filled?
It was a pain in unexpected expense, but the room was large and very nice room, and it was a very good stay because it was soaked in the bathtub for the first time in a long time.
I want to stay next time, but what if I pay an additional fee again ... I'm worried."
"I was very impressed with the quality of this hotel. The furnishings, bedding, room amenities, the bathroom, even speciality tea choices in the lobby, which you can take to your room and water bottles also to take away. The staff went above and beyond as well. A great place to stay when I’m next in Lyon!"

Excellent
KKatherine Nam WeiI was very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, we encountered a few not very friendly staff at the reception. They didn’t do anything in particular that we would consider rude - but they just had a cold attitude. Some of their staff seem to have treated other guests a little differently for instance walking them to the lift and giving them more information about the hotel. This really impacted our experience at the hotel. However, I must say many of their staff were amazing, just a handful that were very cold and dismissive and this is not the level of hospitality you would expect from such a renowned hotel.
The room also looked and felt quite different than what is shown on trip.com and their official website.
I would still highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Lyon!

Very Good
SSU ZHEN EUNICEPullman Lyon is a relatively new hotel. Had a great stay and I had a train to catch on Jan 1 2025 morning, Lyon Part Dieu station to Paris is literally 1 min walk! So very convenient if you don’t want to be late for your onward journey. I got to Pullman from another hotel on an Uber, and there were still constructions and a pro tip to to take Taxi rather than Uber if you’ve luggages because Ubers aren’t allowed into the hotel zone. It’s only for bus and taxis. I wish Pullman had large signage’s to get to their hotel because the entrance is being blocked by the construction. The hotel should have a big Pullman on thier building on all sides like the Radisson Blu nearby it so that people can easily spot it.
The front desk Marie was lovely! All those at reception and concierge spoke great English and were very helpful in helping me call for a taxi and giving me ideas on where to go for dinner on 31 Dec as I had not made any reservations.
The hotel room is big and roomy, with lots of space for luggages. I got a room for handicap access so the shower and toilet areas were joined tgt. The rain shower was great in keeping the floor dry.
I’ll def choose this hotel in future visits if I have an early train to catch in Lyon. It’s in good distance to Westfield shopping mall and it’s a mega big mall with heaps of shopping, dining, supermarket options!

GGuest UserI rarely leave negative reviews, but this booking was very disappointing and quite uncomfortable. Although the location was good and the room was clean, we did not look forward to returning to the hotel each night and I would not consider staying here again. The room felt dark and claustrophobic and did not even have drawers big enough to put clothes in. For those wanting to work at the little desk, the chair and limited electricity outlets would have made it very difficult. Although we chose not to have the breakfast, the patio seemed nice. The lobby barely had space to stand in. Although I have learned that the French star system is quite basic, note that in many parts of the world, this would never be considered a four star hotel.

GGuest UserI stayed with my wife for 3days.
Location is good area ( just 5-6stops away from old town for sightseeing place).
Taking metro is best, good system. buying 24hours metro ticket is recommended( price- 6.5 euro)- or one way ( 2.2 euro).
Room condition is good, clean, nice.
One young lady ( I don’t know name, she has long finger nail) is very kind and tried to help us nicely. I’d like to thank her.
Totally, good hotel with nice kitchen.

GGuest UserI rarely post reviews, but this hotel is really worth recommending. It is very cost-effective, large and very clean. It is even more pleasantly surprised to be equipped with an induction cooker and kitchenware.
The stay experience is very good, with a five-star level of comfort.
Because I came to Lyon with a bicycle, the disadvantage of the hotel's location is only half an hour more riding time for me, but the price is actually half the price of hotels in the city center.

蒋蒋A family of three, the executive three-person room booked two days in advance, the standard room plus a sofa bed at the time of check-in, the most important thing is that there is no quilt and pillow on the sofa bed! And all the toiletries are for two people. After negotiating with the front desk, I said that I am embarrassed to clean up the mistakes. Then I found a circle and said that I was too embarrassed to be quilted. I can only use the spare blanket in the cabinet! We asked for two sheets to look for. The attitude of the younger brother is good, but it is helpless, and we are speechless. In addition, the room had a pungent taste of decoration (or the smell of carpet cleaner) and opened a night window. Experience the worst hotel on this trip!

KKANThe best thing is to have free parking spaces, which are really rare in the city, but the parking spaces are first come first served. If you arrive in the evening, it is basically impossible, and it is recommended to stop the car and don't drive. It is not convenient to drive in the city.
The room is small and the design is not very reasonable. The 7-day standard is still equipped with a sink in the corridor. It is better to use the space in the area near the bed.
The service is reduced because there is always no one at the front desk. I want to check out twice and can't find anyone. I really don't want to take the time to put the key at the front desk.
The location is convenient, next to the literary and art neighborhood, in fact, the feeling of the cement forest, in a building and patio that is abandoned and actually lives, there are many graffiti, standing in the parking lot can see the river opposite.

MMarcia GattoAmazing view, but a bit of a trek if you walk up the hill on foot. The beds are super comfy, larger, and wider than usual. Had a very good nap after a long trip and before tackling the city by night and on foot: lively and safe. Toitels and shower rooms may benefit from a bit of TLC :)
Will be back.
