Satisfied with everything. Service was immaculate. I couldn't get over how efficient, professional, and friendly ALL the staff were. The Thai restaurant is really nice. They also have a Japanese and all-day dining buffet restaurant. Rooms are fine. Bed is comfortable. The hotel is old, which can be seen in the slightly noisy air con, and the old exercise machines in the gym. Otherwise, everything was great. Very close to the airport, so made it easy to get to and from the hotel by taxi.

I booked a Deluxe Suite at the Makati Shangri La and the room was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately despite the website stating that a DVD player was in the suite there was none as they had apparently upgraded the TV and the new TV did not have a DVD connection and the new TV controls were a nightmare as they do not have a numerical button to change stations. The first night I was unable to change from CNN and the bedroom TV was stuck in menu mode so the next day the technician came to explain the controls and had to call in a colleague to re-programme the TV after which some channels worked but many channels showed an error message that the cable was not plugged in correctly to the set top box so they could not be accessed. Unlike other Horizon Club lounges this hotel did not have a chardonnay for the cocktail hour but a prosecco, viognier and pinot gris none of which I normally enjoy but the shiraz and cabernet sauvignon were acceptable. Likewise the canapes were sp**** and only paired with the white wine and not the red (which a lot of lounges are guilty of). There was a small selection of cocktails available. The lounge staff were very friendly and helpful even on the busy nights bar the first night when I was left waiting for a while to replenish my wine glass.

This is an add-on booking. Truly pleasant service throughout the stay, front desk was able to accommodate slightly earlier check-in on the day of my arrival. Room is absolutely clean, spacious and comfortable, housekeeping staff were enthusiastic. Daily turn down service for the evening. Amenities like the pool, fitness centre, sauna and steam rooms were excellent too. Breakfast was a spread which included some Filipino items on the menu. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

This hotel is in a good location, about 45 minutes from the international airport. 3 stayed for 3 nights. Right from arrival we were welcomed by helpful staff and had a speedy check-in. At the same time they gave us a room upgrade. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The facilities were excellent. Again the staff were very hospital and nothing was trouble for them. We even liked the long bar with live band. We will be back to Manila soon and will not think of staying in any other hotel except The Fairmount. We were escorted to our room and everything was explained in details by the concierge who also helped us book the Manila city your for the next day with a reliable agent.

Stayed here for 2 nights in Feb on a weekend getaway shortly before the world fell apart. Booked on Agoda, prepaying around $65 SGD a night including a basic breakfast. Only 2 devices allowed for WiFi. Room was small but adequate. Only 1 towel provided despite booking for 2 adults - had to ask for the additional towel. Same problem again after cleaning on the 2nd day. Double bed with a very hard mattress. Combined shower/bath in bathroom. Some noise from slamming doors and aircon. Friendly staff. Friendly staff. Good location in the night-life area of Makati. About a 20 min walk to the malls.

This is an older hotel in Makati close to Burgos St. Right in the center of everything Furniture is old and no room safes or any ectra spliffs. But the room was clean and nicely made up by house keeping. Staff is super friendly. Wifi worked great when I was there. Had to stay overnight as Cebu airlines had flight delays causing me to miss my connecting flight. The hotel itself is beautiful, rooms are nice and spacious. Everything else seems disappointing. Service both at the counter and especially in the restaurant is very very poor. There were at-least 7 staff members standing talking and not doing much whilst I am the only person sat in the restaurant, I had to get my own menu and was ignored. I ordered waffles and waited 40 minutes while being the only person in the restaurant that had ordered food. When the food arrived it was nice but not worth the wait or being ignored for the duration of the wait. I asked one woman how long my food would be as I’d been waiting a while and she didn’t respond just nodded and spoke to another staff member about it and continued on without communicating or saying anything to me I hate sounding like a Karen but it’s just frustrating to have staff in such a nice establishment be so incapable. The only staff who were friendly and efficient were the doormen who were helpful and kind.

Excellent hotel in a great location near many restaurants, malls, bars, etc.. Walking distance to all. Very clean room and ice cold Aircon. Wi-Fi was fast and bed was comfy with plenty of pillows. Front staff and door staff was super nice always welcoming. Ritz and Aubrey were real gems and made me feel welcomed. All the door guys were also very friendly. Pool was nice upstairs on rooftop and the food looked good but I didn't try. Shower in room was good however, since there is no door some of the water tends to seep out onto the bathroom floor which will soak your floor towel. Wish they could fix that issue with something as the design on that although modern just doesn't work to well in this case. Aside from that I had an excellent stay and will be happy to go back on my next visit! Book without hesitation!!

5 star!!! Staffs are friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast buffet is good, we enjoyed it! They also gave me free upgrade because we need 1 queen bed instead of having 2 single beds. A Crystal clear swimming pool, jacuzzi is so nice!! Front desk staff who assisted me for check-in and kuya guard sa pool area are so kind, I forgot his name pero we went to the pool around 8am. Thumbs up!!

Would come back. Cons lang(for me, our situation) is no modification, no cancellation. Pro ng no cancellation nila anytime na gusto mong mag stay sa hotel is pwede sa duration ng nabook mong araw. Toilet is really slippery but you don't have to worry, since it's narrow, you'll still be standing even if you slipped, elevator is out of order, good thing we've packed lightly, I can't imagine those who've booked here with full luggages, as the rooms are in the 3rd and 4th floor, they managed to fix it the following day. Don't expect much on the free breakfast. Cleanliness is okay, Service can be further improved, staff in the morning doesn't even greet you, I don't know if they're having a bad day or what.

Very friendly staff. Purely! A rare hotel in Manila where there are no ants. Excellent location: 25 minutes walk and you are in the heart of BGC. The original layout of the room. But the toilet lacks a sink. I have to shave and brush my teeth over the toilet. Another small minus: a deposit of 1500 pesos is required upon check-in. I found out about this late. And I lost a lot of time looking for an ATM, the nearest normal ATM was 15 minutes away.

I had such a great time staying here. You can’t ask for a better location. Yes, the rooms are a bit dated but you pay for location and you barely stay in your room exploring this beautiful city. Thank you so much to Harly and King at concierge. They were extremely helpful the last few days from helping me coordinate pickup for my laundry service to making sure I was always had a ride to wherever I needed to go. They go the extra mile here. We enjoyed breakfast a few days during our stay, and thank you to Ann and Joy. They hooked us up with mangos. You made our stay so much better. I will always choose this hotel due to the proximity and the service they provide.
