Hotels in Malacca City Center, Melaka

A group of longtime friends get-together trip staying in Hatten for 2 nights with connecting room, made it possible for a memorable weekend. It’s a huge hotel and wonderfully situated near many great attractions such as Jonker Street and great restaurants (most within walking distance. There’s bus port, 7-eleven and massage parlor to name a few. Overall, a pleasant experience with the service staff and facilities.

The pipe head is loose. Be careful when open or close the pipe head. The pillow fabric has a dirt spot. The cleanliness of room needs improvement. The hairdryer cannot open. Exchange the hairdryer with another hairdryer. No water bottle. Collect slippers from the counter at level G. The staff is helpful. Free car parking but it's limited. Better bring own towel.

Booked on Trip.com for 150 per night. Had asked for a sea view but I think they don't have any rooms with sea view. Thankfully got a river view. Check in was quick and smooth. Room was nice and cold when we entered and beds were clean. But when repeatedly calling the reception to ask for a prayer mat there was no answer. There were some crumbs on the tables though. It's quite spacious and comfortable in general and I understand this is an old hotel that was renovated but maintainance could really use some work. Sockets are very loose in the rooms. The bathroom needs to be worked on in terms of slight sewage smell in shower area, mold and about to fall off tissue holder and jet shower holder. Soundproofing isnt that great since we were woken up by very loud water sounds from the room besides us once, then a phone ringing, then kids screaming. Elevator is also old and needs work.. hardly stays open and would literally shut on people entering. Other than that location is good and walkable distance to river (15 mins) along with a small mall accessible from hotel lobby (with kfc, subway and seoul garden) for food options and many shops and cafes opp the hotel including 7/11 and a halal lan zhou restaurant. Checkout was done in literally 2 seconds just by handing card over at reception.

First off, upon arrival, we had a bit of trouble finding the hotel's parking entrance. I recommend asking the hotel guard directly for the free parking area if you can't find it, and definitely avoid parking in the paid spaces outside. Secondly, I suggest staying on a lower floor. Waiting for the elevators can be an issue, especially since it's a high-density building (hotel and residents), even if higher floors might offer better views. Thirdly, there's usually a queue for breakfast. While it moves pretty fast, you'll still have to wait unless you go later to avoid peak hours. However, I genuinely think their food is good. Fourthly, some of the hotel's rooftop restaurants were already closed. So, if you're specifically going for one of those Instagrammable spots, you'll need to confirm in advance if your desired restaurant is still open. The rooftop operating hours are 12 pm-10 pm. Next up are the gym and swimming facilities. The outdoor pool was crowded (on a Saturday), but the indoor one was less so. The gym equipment is basic but decent. There's also a tennis court.

The hotel had just opened, and the room was incredibly spacious. There was plenty of room everywhere, and the balcony offered a lovely sea view. It was very relaxing to sit there in the morning. Our room's balcony faced directly towards the ”Encore Melaka” landmark. Breakfast was decent and quite varied. Downstairs, there were many food options and a supermarket, and getting a taxi to anywhere was convenient.

I stayed at The Apple Premier Suites Melaka for 3 days and 2 nights with my family in the Royal Three Bedroom Suite, and it exceeded our expectations. The suite was spotless (10/10 for cleanliness), very spacious, and perfect for a family stay. It came with useful amenities like a refrigerator, microwave, Smart TV, and fast WiFi, making us feel at home throughout the trip. We also enjoyed the swimming pool, gym, and children’s playground, which kept everyone entertained. The city view from the suite was beautiful, especially at night. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free, and the location made it easy to travel to Melaka’s popular attractions by car or Grab. The only minor downside was that there wasn’t a convenience store within the building, so buying simple items like bread or snacks wasn’t as convenient, although the vending machines were helpful. Overall, this property offers excellent value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Melaka.

This hotel is fantastic! I really loved the industrial-style decor. A special shout-out to the hotel restaurant – I arrived quite late and didn't want to bother with a taxi, so I ordered food in, and it was surprisingly delicious! The flavors were authentic, the presentation was excellent, and the price was reasonable. The room itself was clean, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The air conditioning was really powerful; I actually turned it off at night so I wouldn't catch a cold. It's only about a 3km taxi ride to Jonker Street, which is basically the minimum fare, and ordering a Grab was super quick and convenient. It's a shame I only stayed one night, as Malacca isn't that big and most people just do a day trip. If I ever get the chance, I'd love to stay here again for another night to really soak in the local culture.

Our stay in Malacca this time was absolutely 'stunning'! I simply *must* give this hotel/homestay a huge thumbs up! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The moment we walked in, we were captivated by the layout of the house. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, it's incredibly friendly for families or friends traveling together – no worries about fighting over the toilet or lacking personal space. Plus, the dry and wet separation in the bathrooms was excellent, very clean and tidy. The common areas were incredibly spacious! A large living room connected to the dining area, plus a super-sized kitchen and a separate laundry room. For long-term travelers, being able to cook for ourselves and do a load of laundry really gives you that 'home away from home' feeling, which is so therapeutic. The facilities were complete, and they even prepared laundry detergent – the host was incredibly thoughtful. But the absolute biggest surprise for me was the enormous balcony! From here, you can directly overlook the stunning views of the Strait of Malacca. 🌊 Enjoying a cup of coffee here in the morning, or watching the sunset with the sea breeze in the evening – that sense of openness and comfort truly made all the fatigue from our journey melt away. This invincible view balcony alone makes it absolutely worth the price! The rooms were decorated very warmly, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the air conditioning was powerful, and the soundproofing was also good. The location was very convenient, making getting around a breeze. If you're looking for a place in Malacca that offers both sea views and enough space for the whole family to relax, this is definitely the top choice! I'm already looking forward to staying here again next time! ❤️

HARGA BILIK & PENDAFTARAN MASUK Kebiasaannya harga bilik di Hotel The Lisbon sekitar RM 300± tapi bila dapat harga RM183± tanpa sarapan di Trip.com memang berbaloi. Urusan pendaftaran sangat cepat, mesra dan mudah. Tidak seperti hotel kebiasaan, staf receptionist The Lisbon memang wajar dipuji kerana bila kita sampai di kaunter, mereka dah standby siap kad bilik dan borang yg perlu diisi dalam satu folder plastik, jadi hanya perlu mention nama penuh, mereka terus beri borang utk diisi dan bayar RM5 utk heritage charge. Tiada deposit yg mahal lagi mengarut dikenakan. BILIK Sesuai dengan harga, bilik lengkap dengan katil berserta tilam yg empuk. TV ada Netflix, Youtube, AppleTV, Prime and so on. Juga lengkap dgn iron, coffee corner, hair dryer, safety box, bath robe dan tuala. Tidak lupa utk buat Muslim, sejadah ada disediakan di sini. Namun sayang sekali utk toilet, tiada botol kecil syampu utk dibawa balik sbg kenangan dan saya ada request complimentary deco for anniversary yg ringkas spt deco tuala tapi mungkin pihak mereka terlepas pandang email permintaan saya tapi The Lisbon menebus silap terlepas pandang dengan beri sarapan percuma utk 2 org SARAPAN Banyak pilihan sarapan yg tersedia meskipun dihidang dalam kuantiti yg kurang sedikit mungkin berdasarkan faktor bilangan tetamu. Namun, wajar dipuji kerana banyak pilihan dan sedap. Bagi mereka ada anak kecil, jangan terlepas pandang seksyen makanan utk anak² ada disediakan siap dengan kertas lukisan mewarna jika anak² bosan. PERSEKITARAN Cantik, ada kolam renang yg luas utk dewasa dan kanak². klasik sinonim dengan nama The Lisbon Melaka. Tapi mungkin kekangan atau kekurangan manpower, jadi ada few tempat agak kelihatan semak Overall, The Lisbon Melaka boleh menjadi hotel mesra keluarga jika The Lisbon kekal menjaga kualiti sampai bila². Repeat? definitely yes. Moga maju jaya buat The Lisbon Melaka

The room was very spacious, and there were several delicious restaurants right across the street downstairs, including a local Nyonya cuisine spot and a Korean BBQ place. Taxis were easy to hail, making it convenient to get anywhere. The outdoor swimming pool was incredibly comfortable; a swim in the evening was absolutely delightful.
