"Barceló Nasandhura Malé is truly one of the best hotels in the city. The location is excellent—very close to the airport, making transfers quick and hassle-free. The staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming, which made our stay even more comfortable. The breakfast spread was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of high-quality options. Wu** Hotel is not far from the airport, and it takes 7 US dollars to get there by taxi (you can contact the hotel in advance for free airport pick-up). There are domestic flights for 150 USD/30 minutes and seaplanes for 250 USD/30 minutes, but they all seem to take off from Male in the afternoon. I participated in an activity to watch manta rays on the island. I set off in the morning and the speedboat drove for more than ten minutes to reach the designated sea area. I saw them immediately. They are very cute and friendly to humans. They are like children. They will circle around humans and swim to you head-on. It is strictly forbidden to touch them. They will never come here again if they are frightened. You can watch them on the boat or snorkel and play with them. It costs 70 USD per person and there are at least 2 people in a group. "The apartment is new and big. The price/performance ratio is very high in Male. However, the location is a bit remote and surrounded by construction sites. It is suitable for transition, but forget it if you want to go shopping around."
