My husband and I came to the hotel on Friday 7/10/2022 room 1216 I honestly couldn't say anything negative about this hotel . The moment we walked in Georgia and neelam on reception greeted us warmly and explained everything. Once we settled in we came back to the bar to enjoy the amazing range of cocktails made by Gabriel :) the bar staff were all amazing from the manager phoebe to Pablo and andree they couldn't do more to make you feel welcome . Our room did have a view of the construction but we expected that as we are in the middle of Manchester and it was not a problem at all . The breakfast was beautiful unfortunately I didn't get the gentleman's name who was clearing the tables but he was so nice lastly I would like to give mo from housekeeping a massive shout out our room was spotless and he even gave me a kit kat 😀 what stands out about this hotel is the staff and I mean all the staff shine they all greet you with smiles and I know how hard that can be for a full shift 😀 can't wait to come back thank you

This hotel is advertised as no children however there were multiple children present staying at the hotel during our stay. Welcome: Average, not very engaging or informative. Generally pleasant enough. This was our only interaction with any staff for our entire stay. Room: room was nice enough, fairly clean although there was a small stain on our bed sheets next to the pillow. Bathroom door also looked as though it had taken some punches. Walls slightly discoloured but nice decor. Looked outside the window and lots of rubbish on the outside area floor. Sleep: Bed was comfortable, hotel was quiet, next to main road but not to noisy. I think my partner and I were unfortunate that we were next to someone who snores extremely loudly and the noise vibrated through the very VERY thin walls! Breakfast: variety of fruit, yoghurt, hot and cold drinks, cereals and cooked breakfast, pastries, jams etc. Restaurant appeared clean however in the current climate I would have expected hand sanitizers to be present at the food serving station given how many different people are helping themselves to breakfast. I would say this hotel is good value for money and with a small few changes could be improved vastly.

If first impressions are your thing, the Kimpton Clocktower will take your breath away. I arrived in the afternoon after a drive from Oxford, and from the moment the automatic doors opened in the lobby, I was amazed. The decor is beautiful and classic. Mixing an old world style with modern touches. I had a slight hiccup at the front desk since most hotels have become cashless. I’m thankful for the front desk manager that came over and gave me the customer service I expected from this hotel since the other attendant was quite cold and lacking the type of communication it takes to be at the front desk. Once that was settled I went to the room, which was stunning. It was spacious and they really spared no detail to make it feel luxurious. Not to mention it was extremely clean. The bathroom was spotless which is always the first place I look. The hotel is located quite central to everything. Restaurants and shops are at the doorstep, and it’s just a short walk to the city center. I would definitely stay in this hotel again…and you should too.

Hyatt Regency Manchester

The time period I was staying at this hotel they had swimming championships. Which around 6 to 10 countries were also staying at the same hotel. Upon arrival they told me breakfast would end at 10:30am. Went to have breakfast at 9:30am and saw all the breakfast had been changed ( I have stayed at this hotel 3 different times so I knew what the breakfast would consist of ) they had made it all specific to the athletes, All healthy options. They said if you want anything we can bring it to you. Which I said great no a problem. So ordered the full British breakfast which is tasty as always. But by the time they brought it out it was around 10:00am ( once again not a problem ). But they started to pack away the food at 10:00am. Not the 10:30am they said it would end. This buffet breakfast. So you would like to order a couple of times but how can you when they clear all the food at 10:00am and it takes you 30 minutes to bring out the food you ordered. They would clear it up early so they could getting cooking again for the athletes lunch which was at 12 till 3. It would be great if the hotel would consider other guests staying there. Very disappointed. But room was clean and modern as always.
