On business trip we stayed one night at Hotel Luise. Since we arrived very late (2.30 clock) , we had to check in the security. That was not a problem and the Lord was very friendly. The rooms are maintained and the staff is very nice. We're happy to come back.

On a trip to Czech Republic from France we stayed at this hotel on both legs. Going to Czech we were impressed with the room and our only niggle was the fact that we had to go to the bar to order a meal in the restaurant on the opposite side of the floor. We were informed that this was because of the fact that they were catering for conferences!! Apart from that our room on the second floor was lovely. Fast forward 6 days and a different picture! Room 126 was allocated to us but when I wanted to contact Reception I found that the telephone didn’t work. Then when I went into the bathroom to find that there was an unrecognisable sticky substance on the door handle. I then learnt that a hotel such as this didn’t have its restaurant open on a Sunday night!! What is going on?? Not impressed with Paula, the receptionist, who, although was prompt to rectify the room faults by immediately moving us to another one, certainly wasn’t too impressed with her guests, judging by her voice!! Certainly not a warm welcome!!

Average and unremarkable. Hotel is a bit farther from Hauptbahnhof than it appears when booking. Room was perfectly comfortable for the 2 nights I spent. Neighborhood not memorable. Eher mittelmäßig. Circa zehn Minuten zum Fuss von Hauptbahnhof, nicht so in der Nahe, als ich gedacht habe. Das Zimmer war gemütlich.

Executive Room für 134€ und es war leider recht enttäuschend. Die Zimmer sind groß, aber zur Hälfte leer bzw sehr minimalistisch eingerichtet. Das Bad war in die Jahre gekommen und brauch dringend eine Renovierung. Aber am schwierigsten war das Bett: Statt einen Doppelbett, dass 134€ wert wäre, gab es zwei komplett durchgelegene Einzel-Betten, die sich bei jeder Drehung im Bett 10cm über das Parkett bewegten.

The location is convenient, about a 15-minute walk from the mannheim railway station. If you have less luggage, you can walk directly there. If you have more luggage, it is recommended to take a taxi, because you have to cross a lot of roads. The hotel lobby is not big, the check in is very fast, the reception is very polite, the rooms are normally separated by German hotel equipment, and the breakfast choices are average. Overall, but not lost
