We arrived by car at this new, modern hotel. We could easily park the car in one of the free parking spaces in the fenced area in front of the impressive building. At the reception we were welcomed by a lady who was top friendly and super professional at the same time. When we checked in, we immediately felt warmly welcome. We were given valuable tips for our stay in the city, and we were also helped to book a table for dinner when seats in the restaurants were scarce because of the weekend. The spacious rooms have a creative design. At the same time, they are very homely. Everything is absolutely clean. The beds are comfortable with pleasant pillows. Air conditioning and rain shower are of course also part of the great equipment. At breakfast, we were equally welcomed by brilliant staff who complemented the rich, high-quality buffet with perfect service. We will be back!

Worst experience in staying in independent accommodation. Left in the rain for 1 hour. Tried 18 calls not answered A very unpleasant man turned up and yelled at us in Italian. We felt very intimidated. When we went out we believe someone entered the room and turned off all lights and heating. Nice room but it’s in an apartment not a hotel like pictures make you believe. Next morning 1/2 hour before check out we returned back and the angry man was waiting for us. Yelling about lights left on. This was a small bathroom light we’d missed when we went for a walk. He virtually threw us out of the hotel. Standing in front of the bedroom window making us very uncomfortable. Very very unpleasant stay.

We chose the quarry Dujia Village. It was very correct. If there is a car, book a parking space one day in advance, and then a special person will pick us up and arrive at the hotel. It is very beautiful. The room is clean and bright. The scenery outside the window is amazing. It is beautiful. All the service staff of the hotel are very perfect. The waiter who helped me with my luggage was enthusiastic. We ate at the hotel in the evening and had delicious food. Special thanks to the staff who served us. Because of their service, we were very happy and satisfied. The next morning we had breakfast at the hotel. The service of the service staff made us feel very comfortable again. It is a great hotel. It is definitely a five-star standard. We will definitely come back next time.

First, the location and the views. They are incredible! Second, the rooms. You can select a “sassi”, or a regular room. We stayed in a sassi, and it was a unique experience. Third, the history—which is remarkable. Both sad, and inspiring. The local museums are world class. But what really made this stay extra special were the hosts at the hotel. Words cannot describe adequately how friendly and helpful they are—all of them. A truly first-class, incredible experience. We ended up extending our stay, we were so impressed! Two practical notes—it is not a problem to obtain secure parking close to the hotel—that is a big plus in cities like this, and not always the case. Finally, the physical location is perfect—we were able to easily walk to all the major venues in Matera. I’ll Belvedere gets our highest recommendation!

Ho passato una notte in questo hotel in compagnia di mia madre, in occasione del presepe vivente ed è stato tutto assolutamente perfetto, dal nostro arrivo al momento della partenza. Lo staff accogliente e cortese, si è subito dato da fare per risolvere un piccolo problema con il pagamento e per fornirci tutte le informazioni necessarie per visitare la città e sui ristoranti migliori per la cena. La stanza, che è rimasta piacevolmente riscaldata per tutto il tempo del nostro soggiorno, è molto spaziosa e subito si nota la particolare attenzione alla pulizia. I letti sono comodissimi, c'è una grande tv a schermo piatto, un ampio armadio e delle comodissime prese usb posizionate in vari punti della stanza. Il bagno è fornito di tutto, dall'asciugacapelli ai prodotti per l'igiene personale che sono meravigliosi, infatti abbiamo anche approfittato della possibilità di acquistarli. Unico piccolissimo neo della camera, è stato il segnale del WiFi, che era molto scarso nella nostra stanza quindi non ho potuto usarlo. Al mattino, per la colazione è disponibile un ricco buffet di eccellenti prodotti, sia dolci che salati, accompagnati da succhi di frutta e bevande calde fatte al momento dal cortese staff. Abbiamo fatto un ricca e gustosa colazione, concludendo il nostro breve, ma bellissimo viaggio con un ultima passeggiata nella meravigliosa Matera.
