Green Rich Hotel Matsue Eki Across Reviews

Large room with a comfortable bed and great location just across from the station. The public bath was nice, but not very big. Breakfast was good, wide selection of options.

The Hotel is super clean and it has a nice location right in front of JR Matsue Station

The location is excellent, which is exact as the name across Matsue station. The staff from the front desk are very nice. You can pick up some daily necessities near the front desk (e.g. toothbrush, comb, teabags). I can open a 30 inch luggage and still have reasonable space in my room. The public bath is a bit small but cosy. It is worth to give a try if you wish to stay in Matsue overnight.

Was ok to stay one night

It's a standard business hotel located right in front of the station, making it convenient for transportation. The hotel has its own parking lot, but spaces are limited. Fortunately, there's a Times Hotel nearby offering unlimited overnight parking for 700 yen. The hotel is a bit old, and the elevators are a bit difficult to reach.

The location is super convenient, right across from the station. There's a convenience store within a 1-minute walk, several good restaurants nearby, and a large Aeon supermarket is within walking distance. Very convenient.

This is considered quite stingy for a budget hotel in Japan. Laundry costs extra, dryer costs extra, and laundry detergent costs 100 yen. They don't provide skincare sets, bottled water, or disposable slippers (I asked the front desk, and they said the hotel doesn't provide them). Even the public bath lacks skincare products, and there were unidentified stains on the curtains. The facilities, however, are very new and clean. Except for the curtains and slippers, everything else is very well cleaned. Check-in is self-service; you can complete the process without speaking to the front desk.

I stayed in a room with a massage chair. It was very comfortable. The large public bath was also spacious, and I was very satisfied.

It's directly opposite Songjiang Station; crossing the street at ground level requires a detour. The receptionist's English was significantly worse than the GR receptionist at Yonago Station. 😅

The facility was well-cleaned. Payment by credit card or cash is accepted, but I wish they would add QR code payment options.

I'm so glad I chose this hotel in Matsue. It's just across the street from JR Matsue Station, making it very convenient for trams and buses. The hotel building is new and the interior is very clean. For a business-class hotel, the rooms and bathrooms are quite spacious. The hotel is well-equipped, offering a washing machine, microwave, onsen (though not a natural onsen), and sauna. The hotel breakfast has a wide variety of options and tastes great. (There is another hotel in Matsue, the Matsue Station Artificial Onsen Futaki-Yu no Waglinridge Hotel, which is further from the station and looks quite old.)

This is a budget hotel, so don't expect much from the service and facilities, but the location is the best. It's right across from the JR station, making it convenient to go anywhere. This hotel in Matsue is the best choice.
