Constance Belle Mare Plage

Belle Mare Mauritius|0.86km from Bassin requins
I had the sheer pleasure of staying at the Constance Belle Mare Plage for 10 days in April with my now-fiancée, an experience that exceeded our expectations in every possible way. From the moment we arrived, the tranquil paradise of Mauritius embraced us, matched only by the outstanding service and attention to detail provided by the hotel staff. The central figure orchestrating our memorable stay was Adasha, who is truly the embodiment of hospitality. Whether it was our daily breakfast service, ensuring our comfort throughout the day, or even arranging an incredibly romantic proposal setup, she attended to every detail with remarkable diligence and warmth. Her dedication and care made her not just a wonderful hostess but a cherished part of our experience. We rate her an emphatic 10+/10. Equally remarkable was Kailash. With his innate knack for arranging romantic breakfasts and dinners in our room, his charismatic presence as he drove us around the resort in his buggy, and his assertiveness that ensured all our needs were met, he was instrumental in making our holiday complete. His personable demeanor is a true credit to the hotel. Our appreciation extends to the room service team as well. Koomar, Veenaye, Joanne, Tarvesh, Nitesh, and Sanjeev all contributed to facilitating a seamless and unforgettable experience. Their collective attention to detail, promptness, and friendly demeanor were remarkable. However, the standout personality and the heart of the Constance Belle Mare Plage was Kris. You will find him on the beach, armed with an unbeatable selection of cocktail recommendations. His mixology skills are top-notch, and his engaging conversations coupled with a fantastic sense of humor made our beach days exceptionally memorable. Kris was not only an employee of the hotel but became a friend who enriched our stay. In summary, our experience at the Constance Belle Mare Plage was truly magical, fueled by the unwavering dedication of its staff, the beauty of its surroundings, and the exceptional level of service that made us feel like royalty. We have created unforgettable memories here, and we can’t wait to return next year. If you’re considering a trip to Mauritius, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Long Beach A Sun Resort

Belle Mare Mauritius|1.1km from Bassin requins
The beaches of Long Beach are not bad. Although it is a little worse than the Maldives, there are still plenty of places to play with the fur ball. In order to save trouble, I stayed here for 7 nights in the fur ball and witnessed a lot of guests haha! First of all, the hotel's comprehensive value for money is high, including breakfast and dinner, because it is the wedding anniversary, but also gave wine and small gifts, 50% off the spa, free Kashima pickup and one-hour golf experience. But one thing is not very good, that is, the service items included in the hotel were not actively notified to us, we only knew it by ourselves. The restaurant can be reserved in advance, except for the buffet, but there are restrictions on free order. The Chinese restaurant recommends that you ask a Chinese chef to do something authentic. Every night at 9 o'clock, there are still people knocking on the door for sanitation. The whole is very clean, that is, there are ants on the first floor next to the plants or something. Seeing a lot of birds and chameleons proves that the environment is very natural and original. In terms of service, there is room for improvement. There are no Maldives hotels that are doing well and feel impersonal. We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights because the departure time was more than 8pm. We asked the hotel if it was 2 hours late Check out, did not get the accommodation, you need to add money to add time, cold. There is a Manluria who speaks Chinese at the front desk. The people are very nice and beautiful. Thanks for helping! If you still have the opportunity to go to Maoqiu, you should choose another hotel to experience it.

One&Only le Saint Geran Hotel

Belle Mare Mauritius|1.3km from Bassin requins
Beautiful hotel with disappointing poor level of service. We have visited several O&O resorts before (Maldives, etc), so we were expecting something different. The rooms are big and very well planned, you have a view either to the seaside or to lagoon side. The cleaning service is not so good: some towels very missing nearly everyday, the sheets were not changed for 4 days-until we called reception asking to change it. Beach is long and nice, but the entrance to the sea is full of stones & corals that really hurt your feet. I don’t understand why they were not cleaned away at least in some areas. Beach bar service is very-very slow: you can wait for menu or your order for ages, many times we were going to the bar to order as no one will come to see us. Also it’s not nice to have a lot of local traders at the hotel beach, that pay local management to have access to the beach & be able to sell jewellery, shells & fake Dior & LV goods. The DJ at the beach & sunset & disco was super cool - enjoyed his music a lot! Sunset at the beach is spectacular!-do not miss it. Breakfast is very good: fantastic choice of food & very tasty. La Point restaurant at the beach is also good for lunch: fast service, good food. Tapasaki is an Asian a La carte - highly recommended for dinner. La Terrasse has great choice of food for buffet dinner. The other restaurants have serious service problems: very long waiting time just to get a menu and/or place an order. We were waiting for sommelier in Prime restaurant for 30 minutes-just to order the wine. Lunch at Badamier is also a disaster-you will spend at least 2 hours to get served & eat. Concierge service is terrible: you can get a reply to your whatsup after 4-5h, we also gave up queuing for the 1 concierge on duty after 30 mins of waiting in the line. It’s totally unacceptable for O&O. Overall the hotel did not meet our expectations of O&O resort, it’s very disappointing.

Sunrise Attitude (Adults Only)

Belle Mare Mauritius|2.37km from Bassin requins
We have just spent nine days at the Sunrise Attitude and I could not recommend it more highly. We arrived first thing in the morning after travelling for 24 hours and were greeted at the gate with cold drinks. Our luggage was taken straight to a secure room, we were shown to the breakfast buffet and then taken to a well equipped shower/changing room so that we could start our holiday immediately. I would recommend having a small bag packed with everything you need. Check in wasn’t until 1400 but our room was ready much earlier and this was greatly appreciated. We had a partial sea view room which was above one of the swim up rooms. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, a large comfortable bed with a mattress topper, a powerful shower and a nice balcony. We visited the lovely ladies in the bulk shop every day to get supplies of freshly ground coffee, local vanilla tea, cold drinks and snacks for our room. The staff at the hotel were the friendliest and most helpful of anywhere we have ever stayed. They made the trip really special. They could not do enough to ensure that we were happy and had everything we needed each day. I would have loved to be able to thank everyone individually but there were so many people that we met each day, from every team, that we loved chatting with. We were ‘All Inclusive’ and were really pleased we chose this option. The choice of food and drinks was so extensive that it never occurred to us to order anything supplemented. We enjoyed the juices, mocktails and cocktails at the bars, we loved having drinks at the bar in the pool on hot afternoons and the cold drinks from the cart by the beach were very welcome. The local lychee rosé wine was delicious with our evening meals. The food is superb and really made our trip. We enjoyed the breakfast buffets of fresh fruit, cereals, hot and cold foods. Curry for breakfast was a real novelty for us! We will particularly miss the vegan pancakes with banana jam. Where we ate lunch depended on what activities we had planned during the day but all options were great - the buffet at The Social House, the menu at the Papaya Bar and the street food at Taba J (fantastic!) The evening meals were excellent. An extensive buffet at The Market with lots of fish and vegan options. We ate at the Kot Nou twice and were really pleased we were able to try the traditional Mauritian dishes- delicious! Our favourite option was the tapas at The Social House and we ate here three times. Both the Kot Nou and The Social House need to be booked at least 24 hours in advance but availability was never a problem for us. There are lots of activities available for anyone who wants to participate. We enjoyed yoga, tai chi, meditation and Secret Sunrise. Our favourite was the glass bottomed boat and afternoon snorkelling trip that we did many times. We had full body massages at the Spa at the beginning of our stay and this was a great way to relax, unwind and recover from our journe

Salt of Palmar, Mauritius, a Member of Design Hotels

Palmar Coast
Where shall I start...Our stay way pretty perfect! Most of you know Mauritius for the big hotel areas, so it was an absolute miracle that we found this lil gem on the island. We had a wonderful 9 days at the SALT of Palmar. We loved that it was super tiny, and very familiar, every corner had a special detail and the service was superb. The staff really makes you feel at home. If you are looking for a Mandarin Oriental Standard, then this won't be the right one. But what this hotel had, is a lot of soul and personality. Rooms: Book a room with a sea view. We had one, but I would say that that's the magic of it. You will realize quite fast that the hotel is refurbished, so here and there you see that it's not 100% up to date, but it really doesn't matter. The rooms were super clean, and spacious and had a great personalized interior. Housekeeping in the morning and also for turndown service did a great job. Thanks to the team! You will see that TV is missing and also Mini-Bars, but that's why you have chosen a Lil boutique hotel over a big chain. Beach: The beach is beautiful, clean, and located around the corner, so u don't get the feeling that it's getting crowded with too many guests, what I loved. The pool is nice, but there could be more sunbeds. Be aware that you are on the eastern side, so when u arrive in August or September, it's very windy and may get chilly. While in November, you will be happy to have the breeze. Snorkelling: Yes, you can snorkel, and you will see fish. But don't expect reef-like on the Maledives for sure. Food: ONE OF A KIND. If you are looking for endless buffets and a big choice just to look at, this won't be your cup of tea. The food was just amazing. Very individualized menu, a big variety. We didn't eat twice the same. The breakfast menu was outstanding and so was the coffee (which usually always sucks in hotels). Nevertheless, you have to say that if you wanna dishes outside the included menu or wines, they are quite expensive (even for Europeans). The only experience, where we were not really stunned, was the cocktails at any point. Watery, not really strong etc. Foodservice: A very big thanks to the service team. you made our experience stunning, also the way you took care of my parents and everything around my mom's birthday. OUr warmest thanks to Vidusha!! But also to Vinesh, Med, Vajna and Vashish (I Hope I got the names right) We hop to see you soon!
Bubble Lodge Ile Aux Cerfs Island

Ile aux Cerfs Lagoon
We recently stayed for 8 nights at the Bubble Lodge, and had the opportunity to try 3 of the 4 bubbles: Lake & Sea view (2 nights), Ocean view (3 nights) and Eco Lodge (3 nights). Just missed out on the Banyan for this time. Great experience. Being a golfer, it was on my bucket list. Challenging course and the most amazing views on the Indian Ocean. Amazing feeling, especially early mornings and late afternoon to have the island for yourself. The whole staff is just wonderful: Our butlers, the Club House & kitchen staff taking care of us at breakfast and dinner, the team at the beach bar for they day caring, the golf club team members. Just AMAZING! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! We loved the food and variety proposed, Mauritian food & curries being central. Also, quite easy to go and visit the Island from there and return to a quite heaven after that (we rented a car from Yash for a day (Yash Car rental Mauritius – trou d’eau douce)) and were able to visit some “must do’s” from there. Would we recommend it? Definitely. For 1 or 2 nights, and also for a whole week if you ask us! Blessed to have come across this address and grateful to have spend some days with this amazing team

Ile aux Cerfs Lagoon
A very satisfied hotel in Mauritius, stayed in Anahita for 7 days and 5 nights, stayed for three nights, four nights and two nights. Anna service facilities are very good, and the hotel service is comparable to the four seasons. The hotel is also quite a bit more desirable but quiet and It is very good for people who like to soak in the hotel. Anna is more suitable for family travel.
Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita

Ile aux Cerfs Lagoon
I chose the four seasons because I believe that the four seasons are consistently high quality, very good environment and location, the staff take care of my feelings, except for one, I will elaborate below. Not only did I change the villa in a better location, but the vehicle I ordered twice was upgraded to the best SUV. The driver who accompanied me to Port Louis, Steve, was attentive, very kind, hot, and patiently accompanied I walked under the big sun and introduced the humanities customs very carefully. The hotel is full of villas, super beautiful and super beautiful, just take a big picture. The beau champs in the western restaurant are super beautiful and super beautiful. I like it the most. Of course, the bambau by the pool is also good. Since I had just encountered the epidemic for a few days, everyone took it very seriously and was very responsible. But my only regret is that because I booked a hotel car to go to the airport, a staff member at the airport accompanied me to check-in, but when I said that due to the current situation, I would usually take the initiative to take care of the feelings of others When maintaining a greater distance from other people in public places, the female staff member said that she understood, not only without confirmation, that maybe my Emirates flight to Shanghai might stop Fei, and she has always ignored me. Instead, she chatted with the two European guests who lined up in front of me, as if she was accompanying them to check-in, and did not take care of my feelings at all. As I said just now: I take care of the feelings of others. If the staff member does not agree that her work requires close contact with guests from areas with various conditions, then she can choose other jobs that do not require this. I saw a Chinese employee in reception. Would you please give an explanation of the Chinese-speaking staff at Four Seasons Hotel? Thank you.
