This hotel is in South Beach, Miami, where there is a beautiful beach, but it is not the best location. The hotel is very close to the beach. Cross the road and pass an apartment to reach the beach🏝️. I didn't even take a picture of the hotel. Now let me tell you, this is similar to a three-star small hotel. The lobby and hotel appearance look a bit exquisite, but the room is very damp and has a strong musty smell. It is a small building with 8 or 9 floors. Fortunately, I found a window in the bathroom that could be opened 15 centimeters, and I finally felt I could breathe. The overall hotel prices in Miami are on the high side, so you can basically only stay like this for 2,000. Fortunately, I only booked 2 nights. The options for more than 3,000 are InterContinental and the hotel where I ate in the picture below, which is 800 meters away in a straight line. On the same road, you can also choose. The dining environment and steak taste of this restaurant in the picture are very good. The special cocktail of Magnet is also great. The attitude of the waiter is also very enthusiastic and patient.

Very poor customer service. We were late getting into room past the hotels check in time of 4pm. Given room right at reception with loud music audible from reception. No TV remote, asked at reception for remote and to move room.... Basically given no response. Had to buy ear plugs and sleeping tablets so that we could sleep that night. Hotel and amenities are fantastic to look at, no actual customer service. Paper thin walls, could hear people in the next room.

The location was nice. However the room was uncomfortable. The bathroom light wouldn't shut off therefore was on all night. The coffee pot was broken, the tv remote volume didn't work and the smoke alarm went off from the steam of the shower.

1 of the 3 rooms we booked had nothing to do with the images published on the site. It was much smaller. Despite being gold members, they did not give us the upgrade and it was difficult for us to get a late check out. The breakfast was very limited and inflexible, they didn't let us put milk in the coffee. good beach service.

Great location and fantastic staff - very friendly and helpful and always available. Value for the money is top and restaurant is very good. Bikes are available and a short walk to the beach.

This could be so much better!
There is no “secure” luggage storage, no courtesy room to freshen up when leaving late.
The first impression from reception was, “ you’re lucky we didn’t cancel your room” as the holding credit card payment didn’t go through, but they offered no explanation why!
The breakfast is ok, but offers very little choice.
We got charged for wrong drinks and when queried with the manager, he was very rude, he did refund it and sarcastically said, “you enjoy the rest of your day now!”
If I were to stay in Miami Beach again, it would not be at The Balfour.
