Ostello Bello is a place of hospitality, color, music and total cleanliness of every room within the structure. Between the Dome of Milan and modern City Line. A little dream where I'll come back for sure.

They are trying. The common areas looks newly upgrade and is nice. The elevators (2) serve all 8 floors and are very small, fitting 1 person with a bag or two, standing really close with average waiting time of 7min13sec to get one. The good: -easy 10min walk to the Duoma -common areas look nice -well located The not-so-good: -VERY small rooms -elevators as mentioned earlier -extremely noisy. The doors are not soundproof you hear other doors slamming, people talking and there is a night club close by (sounds like it was inside my room) -very expensive for what you get....I paid E350 for a room that is not worth more than E150 Better than sleeping on the streets I guess but still

The Hotel Brunelleschi is in a convenient location to the main attractions and amenities of Milan, a 5 minute walk in a safe location. The hotel is known for its' business travelers which is how we knew of the hotel from my husband's previous stays. It is clean and well appointed with a spacious lobby, restaurant and bar along with a large dining room on the lower level serving their breakfast buffet. The room was large,comfortable with an additional small sofa which was also a pull out bed. Multiple charges available. The bathroom was well outfitted with great fluffy towels. Generous breakfast buffet offered hot and cold items with a varied selection, even offering Proseco for those who wanted to make mimosas. Staff at the desk gracious and accommodating to questions and requests. Efficient in arranging our car transportation to the airport on departure.

The only thing that was good about this hotel is the location, AB 10 mins from the center.... BUT.... I have booked double room for only myself and it was supposed to be 18 kvm... when I got into the room it was far away from 18... more like 12... seems like they gave me the smallest room just bc I was alone even if I paid for a bigger room. After my complaint I got another room that was much better. On the reception they were trying to tell me that that was a standard double room, when I could clearly see on the map of rooms on the wall that that one was the smallest... felt like they put bigger bed and trying to sell it as double, be careful.... On their homepage it says that bathrobe is included, asked for it couple of times in the end they said.... no we don't have it only towels.... ehhh... 4 star hotel... would have been strange if there were no towels either.... There is no bar as it says on the page either... The reception is closed from 23... so no 24h service their either.... When I was checking out they wanted me to pay City taxes that I have already paid on the day of the arrival... Honestly I don't really know why they still keep their stars...

We are talking about an elegant and extremely comfortable accommodation. It is 5 minutes from the University, 7 from the Duomo, 10 from the Scale. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The access modes are a little machine, but the staff is very nice and efficient. I have only two advices to improve further: 1) to highlight the ways of telephone contact with the Reception (e.g. if the check-out day you left your bag in stock); 2) make a inspection tour in the bathrooms (in such a prestigious place, see a red-coat and not working is really a stoned note).

The hotel in Milan is in a quiet place and it is not comparable to a hotel in China, but the price is relatively cheap and affordable. I lived in this hotel with my classmate for three nights.

The location is very good, close to the church and only a few minutes walk from the bus to Ole. Eating is convenient, going out on the pedestrian street, Chinese food, Italian food are all a few minutes away. There is a crocodile and GEOX specialty store on the pedestrian street, which can sell good things. Walk to the church for 15 minutes

There are only 10 rooms in the hotel - a room and a suite on each floor - we had a suite on Level 3. I chose this hotel as I wanted to feel like I was in Italy, not in a modern hotel that could be anywhere and this certainly fit the bill. Our suite was very spacious - with an entry area and a large bathroom off that and then the bedroom which is at the front of the hotel. It's rather sp****ly furnished but what is in there is just lovely. The breakfasts are fantastic and all done a la carte. The breakfasts are actually done in the adjoining restaurant (but there's a door through from the hotel) and we found the staff very accommodating to what we wanted to order - even for my gluten-free requirements. The location is perfect for exploring the key sites of Milan inc. the Duomo and also close to restaurants and bars. There is a rooftop area but to be honest it wasn't that great and we didn't use it. Apparently the restaurant uses it in the evening and charges 20 Euro for a drink and snack there - except on a Sunday when they don't operate so using the terrace is free. But we much preferred to be out in the many cafes nearby rather than the rooftop! It was very clean and the room had a very comfortable bed! The hotel has limited amenities being very small but overall I think it was fantastic value for money and we'd stay here again.

Apart from the noisy construction work right at the front door, there is nobody to assist with arrival, luggage, and no concierge either. Only ever one person on the front desk and not very happy either! A taxi will drop you on the road out front and then it’s up to you. Booked a Junior Suite for over €300 and it just was not up to standard. Lousy plumbing (not new to old Italian buildings), noisy, dull with lots of confusing light switches, air-con that sounds like a jumbo jet, and no tissues in bathrooms. So does that sound 5 Star? This hotel must have had some prestige back in the day but it would struggle to make a 3 Star ranking today. Location is not good either. Surrounded by graffiti and dirty looking buildings. A decent walk to Duomo, allow at least 15 minutes and very difficult to access Milano Central Station: at least 30 minutes and €30 in a taxi as the traffic is terrible with all the roadworks. I recently stayed in Hotel Milano Castello ( 3 weeks ago) and I feel I must this nightmare of an experience. I booked this room fairly last minute and because of it was charged a ridiculous amount (paying 400+) for a hotel room that contained cheap paper-thin towels, little to no bedding, in an all-white room that looked something like holding cell. Nevertheless, this is not why I am writing the review. Apart from the fact that I was being ridiculously ripped off, I want to talk about how the hotel manager kicked me and my boyfriend out of the hotel at 4 in the morning, and tried to force his way into our hotel room (to do honestly I can't imagine what). On July, 29, 2022 we returned to the hotel at around 10 pm sitting in the lobby exchanging quiet conversation about our trip to Milan. Next thing we know the night concierge approaches us, almost seething demanding we explain if we had taken anything from the supply room?? My boyfriend and I looked at each other and then him, dumbfounded as to what in the world he's talking about. He starts trying to follow us to our room, trying to snatch our hotel key away, all the while but of us are trying to explain there must be a miss understanding, as we had nothing to do with missing hotel property–– we found out later another guest had stolen alcohol from the bar. He tried forcing his way into our room, to which my boyfriend objected, screaming at us ”Go f*** yourselves” completely unprovoked. Genuinely seemed as if this man was having a mental breakdown and we happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. He then tells us he's going to turn off the electricity in our room if we didn't leave within 30 minutes. At this point, its almost 2 in the morning and both of us have nowhere to go having assumed we would be staying in our reserved room. The concierge then tries charging us for non-existent items from the mini-bar which we hadn't consumed, and after 20 minutes of back and forth he decides he's not going to charge us for fake charges (what a relief?). After physically pushing us out of the hotel, insisting we must find somewhere else despite having already paid for this night at the hotel. I have never been reimbursed, never been contacted despite having attempted to contact them. In short, I can't believe a hotel with this reputation would allow a person as insane as this (flip-flop wearing) night manager to be apart of their staff.
