The bath had significant appeal with brass fittings and a funky, unusually shaped, double sinks. The Michelin-starred restaurant is the Casa's highlight attraction with it's menu of traditional Italian specials accompanied by a dash of East Asian influences. I fell for the fish (pan-fried crustaceans).............heavenly. So , if you want a small boutique hotel that aims to be your home away from home..............then try the........... First of all, the hotel's environment and facilities are very good. It is the old house of the playwright Verdi, which has a European style. The front desk staff's attitude and standard are first-rate, and they are worthy of standing! Because I was in a hurry to buy a mask before I left, I asked many pharmacies along the way during the day when they were out of stock. In desperation, I went to the front desk of the hotel for help at night. Finally, I found one that was in stock. The uncle at the front desk told me the address of the pharmacy in detail and gave me a map. The gratitude is beyond words! Of course, the flaws are not covered. Two minor issues need to be mentioned. The quality of the kettle in the rooms is slightly lacking, and the breakfast is not rich enough. In addition, this hotel is perfect!

Stayed at the hotel for two nights. The room was clean and the staff was nice. Also brought a car and used the hotels private parking which was well hidden away from the public, for €35 per night. Located close to the city centre. All in all a good stay!

We visited the hotel for a weekend in September. The purpose of our visit was to explore Milan and to attend the Monza Grand Prix. The hotel is in a great location, a short taxi ride from the airport and within walking distance to two train stations and the centre of town. Check in and out was really quick and the staff were so frjendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and really nicely decorated. The breakfast buffet was brilliant, lots of variety and high quality food. We also had a drink in the bar one evening and it was a good atmosphere, service and the drinks we ordered were made well. Overall we felt the hotel was excellent for 4 stars and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for luxury without breaking the bank.

The hotel is very close to the train station, more than 10 minutes walk, the subway is also very convenient, not far downstairs, opposite the Westin Hotel. The breakfast was plentiful and the service was welcoming. The toiletries were all water from Parma, which was replenished daily and the bathroom was large. Drinking water is delivered to the room at 7 or 8 pm every night. There is Carrefour nearby, and shopping is also convenient. The only drawback is that there is no hot water bottle, but we brought the hot water bottle completely unusable, and the scale felt heavy. The first day was in the morning. I could n’t get the room yet. I wanted to open the box and pick up something. The hotel manager, who opened the office for us with pictures, would keep things from getting messy in front of everyone.

We stayed here for three nights in an executive triple room. We were so thrilled with our stay at Hotel Cavour. The staff were so friendly and helpful and our room was so spacious and had everything we needed. Downstairs was slightly dated so when we got out of the lift on the second floor, we were very pleasantly surprised by the modern carpets, lighting and painting.. The room had three beds, a spacious walk in wardrobe and a large bathroom. The balcony was an added bonus. The breakfast was very tasty and again the staff were great. We enjoyed a cocktail most evenings in the bar and they were delicious. It was very convenient to walk to the Duomo. 10 minutes at the most! I look forward to going back to stay at this hotel.

The hostel was clean, tidy and the staff were friendly and helped us with any questions and gave us recommendations of where to visit. Having a 24 hr reception was extremely useful as there was always someone to chat too if we needed help. Not being able to take our keys out of the hostel gave us peace of mind that we wouldn’t lose them, so it was nice to simply hand them in to reception and get them back when we returned from our outings. While at the hostel we decided to go to Lugano, Switzerland on the train and we didn’t return to our hostel for over 24 hours, when we arrived back we asked for our keys and all was well with our room etc… If I return to Milan and want an affordable accomodation I would definitely rebook this as it is walking distance in to the centre of Milan also.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Scala hotel from the moment we arrived till the time we checked out. The staff was simply amazing!! Upon our arrival at that hotel, a darling receptionist named Greta greeted us. We had originally booked a superior double room so we asked Greta that we wanted to upgrade to a suite, she as well as her colleague Mathjs quickly accommodated us to a suite with a gorgeous view!! They were both very professional and very kind by going out of their way to help when we needed anything. I would like to mention another wonderful staff member, Rod; I had a reservation at a restaurant not far from the hotel, he literally escorted me so I don’t get lost as I’m not good with maps and directions😔 I mean I’ve never seen anything like this before. Hotel had good breakfast with beautiful live harpist playing which was very soothing, what a great addition. The Hotel is a great location within walking distance to the Duomo, the city center, not far from via Montenapoleone and of course the famous Teatro alla Scala.
