Easy to find and not far from Montepulciano so great for a one night stopover. Friendly staff both at check in and for breakfast. Room a little dated but with large balcony facing what looked like a large swimming pool (November). Wifi and TV worked well in the room. There was a large party/conference on during our one night stay so we could hear the dining room noise from our room. Some noise also during the night. As with most Italian hotels/apartments etc you can hear conversations/toilet flushing/laughter/lifts/kids etc through the walls! Breakfast was Covid served (you point to what you want and its put on a tray for you) and was adequate for us. Coffee, sweet pastries, cereal, fruit etc. Overall a good stop over point on our trip around Tuscany.

We had our wedding here from 30th June - 1st July. We booked the venue more than 2.5 years in advance and worked with Antonella throughout the entire process. She was amazing to work with and highly recommend having a wedding at the borgo! We rented out the entire property exclusively for ourselves & guests for the weekend. The grounds are so beautiful with views from the entire borgo. The rooms are also very nice with a rustic Tuscan feel. Antonella and the entire Borgo staff worked with us to make our wedding weekend perfect. Last minute, we had to change the dinner location due to rain, and the staff was quick to rearrange all of the tables to inside. I had guests coming up to me saying this was the best wedding they had ever been to. We will be returning to the Borgo for our anniversary!

The concept is to renovate village houses into hotel rooms while providing breakfast and other amenities in another building. The rooms were nice, not great, but I still loved the concept. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the ”Palazzo” a few hundred meters away on a semi-covered outdoor patio. Breakfast was excellent but in late September it can feel like camping out. Shivering while sipping your coffee is not quite a luxury experience. We were here on a bike tour. We have toured throughout Europe and many times in Italy. This is the very first hotel I have ever encountered which charges to store bikes in a garage: 5 euros per bike per night. We were there for 6 days. I could understand if we had e-bikes that needed to be plugged into a power source, but ours were just leaned against the wall - for 5 euros each per night. Also be aware that the pool is off limits unless you are staying in the Palazzo. And the nice outdoor patio, you can only use it if you buy drinks from the bar. Lastly the staff at the front desk were thoroughly disagreeable. It was as if they didn't understand that we were the guests and their job was to welcome and assist us, not that we asked for much more than room keys. Having said that, the restaurant staff were gracious, friendly and accommodating. Again, I loved the concept, but the execution needs some work. Would I stay here again? Nope.

Once we arrived at the property, we were greeted by Giuseppe, the owner and Bertina, the manager. Both were so kind and welcoming and we were told to relax! We got settled into our room with king sized bed and updated bathroom. The bed was very comfortable with nice linens. The breakfast was included each day and included a nice variety of eggs, meats, cheeses, pastries, coffee, espresso, cappucino, juices, etc. We went on a wine tour throughout the countryside to Montepulciano, Montalcino and Pienza -highly recommend this tour. We learned so much about wines from our tour guide, Giuseppe. We purchased wines from each winery, including Santo Pietro and they arranged to ship them to our home for us. Spend some time in one or all of these villages! The next day we went on a truffle hunt at the property followed by a cooking class. Both were delightful and enjoyable activities. The restaurant has great farm to table food. The staff is very professional and most were English-speaking. I cannot say enough about Giuseppe and Bertina-they went above and beyond for us to make our stay as comfortable as possible! Sorry we didn't stay longer here because we had booked further time in Rome. We would highly recommend Tenuta Santo Pietro and hope to return there again someday!

Very central hotel, a stone's throw from the thermal baths of Montepulciano, parking on the street, in front of the entrance, lift for those with heavy suitcases, with the family management of a very close-knit ”hotel team”, exceptional welcome and all staff very friendly at all levels, Free and fast WiFi, large, bright, quiet, very clean room, new furniture, new and modern bathroom, new air conditioning, very efficient and silent, we recommend dinner in the own restaurant with a pre-choice of 3-4 local specialities, perfectly cooked, impeccable presentation of dishes, very good wine from own production, and a large choice of homemade desserts for the breakfast Unbeatable value for money - there are not enough stars for the rating! The maximum rating seen on the internet is true and absolutely confirmed. For sure, we will come back with the first chance, with friends and recommend the same to everyone. We really enjoyed our four days here. The welcome was friendly - though we had to wait for the room to be ready. The room was large (very large for an Italian hotel), well-furnished and comfortable overlooking the garden and breakfast gazebo. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom good. It was a very hot few days - we went out each morning to nearby towns of interest - Monticchiello, Pienza, Montepulciano, Città delle Pieve, Panicale ... and came back to the hotel after lunch. At 4.00 we went to the pool - which was large, clean and well set up, pettily sited in the garden with Tuscan hills as a backdrop. We had booked half-board, so had breakfast and dinner at the hotel (in the Taverna, where the food and service was very good). Really a great break.

Great choice for touring Val D'Orcia. Stayed two nights here in April. This was our third visit to Pienza but our first overnight stay. Picked the Corsignano primarily because it offered free on-site parking and was only a short walk to the the old walled town. Delighted with our choice. It ticked all of the boxes. Friendly reception, nice (very) clean room with terrace, comfortable bed, great shower, good breakfast, short walk to the beautiful old city and great restaurants. Free on-site parking was actually quite limited and was full when we arrived. The receptionist moved her own car to free up a space for us. No problem the second evening. The receptionist did inform us that due to government requirements for energy conservation we would need to call the desk to turn on the heat if we wanted it. We encountered this in other hotels also. We were very comfortable without it. Pienza is the ideal location for touring and enjoying the Val D'Orcia and the most beautiful areas of Tuscany. The views approaching Pienza from the south in the evening are stunning and unforgetable and the views from the Belvedere behind the Duomo are pure magic. The iconic winding cypress roadway at La Foce and the tiny Capella Vitaleta are just a short drive away - (the Capella is now open to the public down a 15 minute walk) Everywhere you look is a painting. Pure magic!!
