Traveling to Changbai Mountain with my family, I didn't want to stay in a traditional hotel and unexpectedly found 'Mountain with a Pool'. I booked two rooms with a 'let's give it a try' attitude, and this niche B&B kept earning my praise with every interaction. First bonus point: After connecting, the owner sent incredibly detailed guides for check-in, dining (we tried all their recommendations and they were absolutely delicious!), and sightseeing, even down to the time for the local market. And it was definitely not a typical tourist trap! Second bonus point: The hotel's location is superb, right near the North Slope's tourist hub, without any complex commercial areas around. It's a detached building nestled among smaller structures. Third bonus point: The design and aesthetics are top-notch! I absolutely loved the comfortable furnishings and the soft decor in sophisticated colors. Every photo turned out amazing! Fourth bonus point: The rooms were not only clean and tidy, but also full of thoughtful details like earplugs, eye masks, makeup remover wipes, soda water, and birch juice. Every detail showed the owner's care. Fifth bonus point: The meals were simple, clean, and nutritious, and the drinks at the bar were never subpar. The latte art on the hot chocolate was beautiful every single time. Sixth bonus point (a big one!): This goes to every member of the B&B staff. They spoke softly to every child, and most remarkably, their service had excellent boundaries. They never intruded on guests but were always responsive to requests. I'll keep it brief, but if I ever get the chance to go to Changbai Mountain again, I will definitely choose this B&B. Looking forward to seeing you all next time! Wishing you continued success!

The hotel service was very thoughtful; they even gave us a small gift. The internet speed was fast, the environment was clean, and the amenities were complete. The TV could swivel, and the common area had self-service coffee and juice. Overall, it was pretty good. It's right next to Genting Market, which is convenient for shopping and within walking distance. However, it's a bit far from the Changbai Mountain scenic area; a taxi ride costs about 80 yuan one way. The only thing that bothered me was that the hotel driver promised to give me a pinecone the day before but never did, and I couldn't reach him on the last day. The shuttle service within the town was 10 yuan per trip, supposedly only for guests. I used him many times. A trip to Changbai Mountain was 100 yuan, and I booked both ways with him. The biggest impression I got was how incredibly warm-hearted the owner of this place is! Transportation in the small village isn't very convenient, but the owner proactively offered to drive us to attractions. When we couldn't find a ride back, a single phone call was all it took – the owner immediately came to pick us up, no questions asked, and even shared local stories with us on the way. The room was spotlessly clean, and the fruit was delicious! Honestly, I've stayed in many places while traveling, but it's rare to find someone who treats guests like family. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a genuinely welcoming place to stay.

Overall, we had a great stay despite a small hiccup with the pickup due to hotel staff turnover and miscommunication. The hotel room was amazing and super well designed with great amenities, it was undoubtedly the best accommodation we had during our 2 weeks in Dongbei. Even though we didn’t book breakfast, the boss gave us free breakfast to comepensate for the poor experience we had with the pickup from the high speed rail (I would strongly recommend giving them a call to confirm the pickup rather than communicating through WeChat). The breakfast was super tasty and has lots of different side dishes (not saying this because it’s free lol), would definitely recommend. We were there during NYE and NY, and seems like people in the neighbourhood really liked fireworks. We probably saw fireworks 8 -9 times during our 3 days stay (including one from our host), super lucky! The local restaurant the host recommended was very tasty as well (not touristy so be prepared for a raw experience), food was great and fried eggs is a must try. The only issue with staying in this area was transport if you don’t have a driver for your stay in Changbaishan (which is a well known issue for all hotels in this area). Getting a cab took about an hour… after constant failing, the boss was so nice that she tried to call all her friends to see if they were available to drive us to the restaurant and we got there at the end!!!! 谢谢老板和老板娘的烟花还有小礼物，我们玩得特别开心！

Before checking in on the 25th, Annie, the Guest Services Manager at Changbai Mountain Guanyue Hotel, added me on WeChat and proactively shared important information about our stay and local attractions. We arrived quite late that day, and Sister Wang (I specifically asked for her name so I could mention her in this positive review) at the front desk was incredibly patient in answering all my questions. Manager Annie was also very patient and helpful. The service was excellent all around, and the hotel's grounds were beautiful. Our kids had a great time, and they also loved the hot springs nearby! Thumbs up! 👍👍 Highly recommend this place!

This guesthouse offers excellent value for money. The bedding was clean and comfortable (high quality!), the room was spacious, and the overall environment was lovely and very quiet, with no disturbing noises. The location is incredibly convenient. There was no renovation smell or any other odd odors in the room. It's a truly tranquil spot right in the heart of the bustling area. They provide communal washing machines and tumble dryers, and the shower pressure was fantastic – super refreshing! The layout of the space is well thought out. Breakfast was also a highlight; I honestly expected it to be a bit haphazard, given it's a guesthouse, but it exceeded my expectations. It was well-balanced and complete, with bread, milk, and porridge, allowing everyone to take what they liked.

The overall experience was great. The hotel offers a dedicated shuttle service for pickup from the station, and for those driving, there's a free public parking lot with EV charging stations. It also features a restaurant, self-service laundry, and a gym, making it very suitable for families with children, thanks to the free kids' playground and children's toothbrushes and toothpaste provided in the rooms. The amenities are comprehensive, and it's a very convenient base for exploring the mountains.

The owner was very hospitable, and there were always drivers available at the entrance who were ready to answer any questions or help with travel plans. The aunties at the hot springs were also very warm and helped with towels. The indoor bath was cleaned daily, and overall, everything was quite good. The only issue was that the toilet wasn't clean upon check-in, but the front desk attendant came quickly to address it. Overall, it was a good experience, and I recommend it.

This guesthouse is conveniently located right at the end of the Daquan River rafting experience, making it super easy to head back after your adventure. The staff is really helpful and will arrange taxis for you if you want to go out for food or other activities. They even organize carpools for longer trips to places like Yanji or Xue Ling. The owner is a great person! Our room was very clean and tidy, and we had a really comfortable stay. You can even step right outside and play in the snow, offering a truly immersive experience.

1. **Location:** For those visiting the northern slope of Changbai Mountain, I highly recommend staying here. It's very close to the main street, making dining incredibly convenient. It's also a short distance to Edelweiss Park, Scaly-sided Merganser Park, and the Enduri. There's even a small courtyard on the second floor where you can play in the snow. 2. **Environment:** The rooms are clean and tidy, with all-new and complete facilities. Both bedrooms are spacious, and there's even an electric heated 'kang' (bed). 3. **Service:** The owner is very warm and arranged for a car to pick us up from the station. I forgot to take photos of the room, so the picture is of the courtyard downstairs where we played in the snow. As someone from the south, this was my first time seeing snow in the north, and I was truly delighted! Everyone I met in the Northeast was so welcoming, the Northeastern cuisine was delicious, and Erdaobaihe Town itself is beautiful.
