Super Hotel Nagoya Ekimae

Nagoya|2.34km from Nagoya City Hideyoshi Kiyomasa Memorial Museum
My husband and I stayed here for one night while traveling to Japan. We stayed in a double suite (12 square meters), 8180 yuan a night, including government tax and breakfast. Super Hotel chain offers basic, budget rooms. For some reason, you can add a bunk to the double bed. We also have a refrigerator, desk and LAN connection in our room. As expected, the room is small and the bathroom is small (combination style, which means everything is a component). Unexpectedly, our room was in some narrow inner courtyard so the sun was basically out of reach. Later on the trip we stayed at another chain store where the room was bigger (and sunshine!). The hotel was very close to the station (about 5 minutes walk). Breakfast buffet included in the room rate, which was available in both Japanese and Western styles (though quite simple - salad, rice, bread, etc.; no juice - only drinks). One big advantage of the hotel is that there are pillows available at the reception; besides those in your room, if you really want one, grab one immediately after registration or you will be taken out. For the cost of staying, this hotel is OK - if you're looking for a clean, functional hotel for one night, this hotel is more than enough. However, I recommend staying here for no more than one night mainly because even if you stay here for a few nights you can't enter the room between 10am and 3pm. Nagoya itself is not a great tourist attraction. We're just stopping here and taking the opportunity to visit the castle near Dogshill.

I just opened in June and everything was new and I was able to stay comfortably. I brought my carrier bag in 2 nights and 3 days this time, so I was before check-in, but when I left my luggage at our hotel, I was able to lock and deposit with a traffic IC card in front of the front desk. We used it after checking out. There was also a locker and I was impressed that the service was evolving. During my stay, I was able to lend an umbrella in bad weather. Like other hotels in the same group, breakfast was free and the eating and drinking space was wide 々. However, it is a little far to the hotel for private railway users of Kintetsu and MEITETSU, but I think it is convenient for Shinkansen users. I think it will be one of the reasonable satisfaction hotels.

The walls needs some paint. Not sure if there is a staff that takes care of such things at checkout or at least frequently. Room is veeeery small. The ac got me stuffy when I turned it on. Maybe needs cleaning. There is no extractor fan in the bathroom. You have to pay to see whatever is on the TV. Nevetheless it's an ok enough place to crash for a couple of nights if you are on a budget. It is really cheap.....until you ask for a late checkout. Location is very close to the central train station. Lots of restaurants around.

Basic hotel but clean and well maintained. size of room is generous for Japan standard. about 10 mins walk from Nagoya station. There are fewer restaurants than the East side of the station so it's quieter in the streets. I will stay here again.

The price is very cheap, so I think the service is proportional to the price. It's not particularly good, but it's not bad. The price and location are both good. The room was a little messy when we first entered, and there were a little stains on the quilt, but if you don't look closely, It shouldn't be discovered, so I think it's fine. The counter service staff has a bit of a stinky face, and considering the price, I don’t think she needs to greet people with a smile, but if you mind, I don’t recommend this option.

It is still open and new, so there is a clean feeling in the room. Also, there is a microwave in each room, so it was very helpful. There are convenience stores around, but there is also a supermarket on foot 5 minutes, so you can buy sake and food. Breakfast was also hearty boiled food and baked fish, and the menu was not much, but it was delicious. The location of the hotel will arrive at 7 minutes if you take a shortcut from the station.
Comfort Hotel Nagoya Shinkansenguchi

A few minutes walk from Nagoya Station Taikoguchi (right away) if you use a car, there is no hotel parking lot, but there is no problem because it is within 1000 yen even if you stop overnight. The room is very clean because it is within 2 years. The room is as large as the usual business hotel and compact in a range that is not cramped. Breakfast is also the same as other people's opinions, and eat a lot of delicious things from the morning.
