"[Cleanliness] It was a new hotel and very clean. The room was spacious and cute (the overall design, true to the hotel's name, was lovely and jewel-like), and very comfortable. I also used the sauna, which felt great! [Location] It's easy to get to from downtown Nairobi, and there's a large shopping mall nearby (I recommend going by car), making it convenient. There are cafes and supermarkets within walking distance, so we had no problems. [Service] Everything was basically fine, but when I ate at the hotel on my last day, there was a significant error in the bill. Since I paid by credit card, I asked to cancel the refund and have the correct amount corrected, but they said they couldn't. I was surprised when they said they would give me a bottle of wine to cover the difference, so that was fine. Since my flight was approaching, I asked for a cash refund in USD, but they said they couldn't. I ended up filling out a refund application to my credit card and leaving. I was worried even after I returned home, wondering if the full refund would actually be received, but they did. They never apologized for the mistake until the very end. It was a really nice hotel, so I was disappointed with their final response."

"As a business traveller, we're here for 7days. Breakfast remains the same daily. Comes with a compact gym that caters to all your needs. Rooms are very clean but the smells of cookings fumes were quite heavy as we were staying right under the rooftop bar. Dragging of chairs can be quite disturbing as well. The bonus is that we had our own mini balcony which gives us a good view of the neighbour with bright morning sun."

They were going to discipline this person. However, since it was still under investigation, I couldn’t get my money back before I left. So, they said they would email me.
