An ideal place to stay. Walking distance to downtown and many amenities. The adjoining cafe/restaurant is very convenient and seems to attract a number of people from off premises - a good sign. Staffe were attentive and efficient and flexible in allowing us to check out one hour later as we were attending to a medical issue.
Because it is new it still looks fresh but some attention to finish and general upkeep need to be addressed.
The hallways need to be vacuumed. The perspex light panels of the elevator have accumulated dirt which needs attention. There were three "Out of Service" notices, gym, bathroom and one other. Not a great start in a new build. The heating system in our room (321) was quite noisy.
The issues noted above may just be teething or staffing problems but with a bit more eye to the little details, this a still a much needed addition to downtown Nanaimo and we wish you well in the future.
