Landgasthof Zum Alten Reichenbach

We stayed at the inn for two nights with a large group. The rooms are rustically furnished but functional and clean and absolutely met our requirements. The dinner is rich and delicious. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. The breakfast is also sufficient, but it is noticeable here that the quality of the products is not necessarily the top priority. Biggest point of criticism for us is clearly the friendliness of the staff. We felt like a burden all the time. Even if the inn is obviously understaffed, we expect a minimum of friendliness. We were often snapped at and we didn't see a smile in the whole three days. When one of the children knocked over a glass, a rag was handed to us with an annoyed look. That was the end of it. This is just one of several examples. Overall very unfortunate. Anyone who works in the catering industry should be able to show a minimum of friendliness, even when there are personnel problems.

Leider bin ich krank geworden und musste den Aufenthalt vorzeitig beenden. Mir ist keine ausführlichere Beurteilung möglich.

Kamers zijn goed. Omgeving is harstikke mooi. De gastheer (eigenaar) is vreselijk. We zijn hier een aantal jaren geweest. Toen we daar niet meer gingen eten in de avond werden we totaal genegeerd. Dit jaar werden aan ons gevraagd (door zijn lieve moeder) of we speciale wensen hadden bij het ontbijt. Toen hebben we 2 dingetjes genoemd. Het resultaat is nu dat we niet meer mogen boeken (inclusief ontbijt) omdat dit dan niet meer zou passen in zijn kostenplaatjes (terwijl wij niet zelf voor extra ontbijt opties hadden gevraagd. Ook werd de kamer niet gereinigd bij aanvang ons verblijf omdat we de enige gasten waren.
