Hyatt Hotels in New York

The room is nice and spacious. Everything in the room is very clean too! Most importantly, the location of the hotel is really good. But the elevator isn’t that great. It takes way too long to wait for the lift.

The room is really super small, really really small. The hotel is in a great location. It's convenient to go everywhere. Macy's, Grand Central Station, and Times Square are all within walking distance.

We came to the city for the first time in almost 20 years to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We had tickets to almost famous and wanted to have a very special weekend together. The woman at the front desk was so sweet and kind and offered us congratulations and gave us an upgrade for free to a king suite from regular king room. It was a beautiful spacious room, well decorated with a comfortable sofa and big screen, TVs, extra towels, and everything one could want. The staff was helpful and accommodating and recommended a great spot for dinner. Breakfast to go was perfect in the morning. Complete with coffee and lots of smiles. We can’t wait to come back again and have recommended it already to friends. We especially love the art deco style that was evident everywhere. Thank you for making our anniversary extra special!! Super small room with great location and comfortable bed in the heart of Financial District Manhattan. The location is superb and very close to subway station (Fulton street) and any other restaurant, mini mart , shops etc. The lady in reception was attentive and effective, also the man in reception when i've checked out in early morning was helpful. The only main downside was the room is relatively super small. i'am a solo traveler with 1 size checked bag and 1 size cabin bag apparently the room already overwhelmed with those luggage. Wondering if i was travelling with partner. The bathroom is clean and modern but the water power in shower was weak.

Our stay was accommodating. Fantastic location. The bedding was super comfortable, but the beds were small. Says it sleeps 4, but should have been 2. The bathroom was tiny too. The lobby restaurant was under construction. They had fruit, bagels and muffins in the lobby. We paid over $330 per night. I know it’s NYC, but wow.

The location is nice, close to Times Square. The hotel is clean, as other Hilton hotels. Breakfasts are good too, with very pleasant service. But there are some things that left that bitter feeling after my stay that I would like to share. 1. Destination charge. This is the second Hilton hotel in New York I have stayed at, and both charged additional USD35 for so-called destination fee per night. As the receptionist said, it’s MANDATORY. This 35 dollars are charged per day and the guest must use it the same day, they don’t even accumulate. How do you spend it? In the hotel restaurant or bar. What can you buy with it? Three bottles of drinking water, or two cans of beer…. Why am I forced to spend my money on the things that I don’t need and that are so overpriced? You already charged me for the room, and I happily paid for it. 2. The hotel page here shows a picture of “swimming”. It’s a rooftop swimming pool. I was excited to have a chance to spend some time in the pool. The reception said there was none. Please remove the picture from the page, as it is misleading. 3. There is no tea or coffee in the room. That’s the amenity available in every hotel, even the cheap ones. But when we called the service, they said: no, we don’t offer coffee or tea. But they did bring us a kettle:) I can see that it’s not listed in the available amenities here, but I didn’t even expect that. It’s such a little thing that makes your guest’s stay more comfortable. Anyways, it was quite a pleasant stay despite these unpleasant details. Thank you.

Was perfect for what we needed. It could've been a little cleaner, and the toiletries were not excellent - glad we brought our own this time. The hotel offered free luggage storage, which was great as we arrived around 10 am. The bar closed at 11 inside the hotel & didn't serve food. :( Elevator took a while to get on since there were only 2, and they always seemed busy. It wasn't too noisy - especially for New York. Great location - Carnegie Diner was just two blocks away. Also close to Seraphina, Ellen's Stardust Diner & Times Square.
