Hotels in Omachi with Swimming Pools

Breakfast was superb. Good variety. Free coffee provided at lobby which soothes the crave for travellers dying for one as it is difficult to get one. Location is great as it’s just 2 mins walk to bus and train station. Only 5 mins walk to supermarket and duty free shop.

We returned to Ogizawa Station from Kurobe Dam, which was like another world, and headed to the KAI Alps, where we were staying for the day. The parking lot is immediately after entering from the entrance that I have seen several times in pamphlets and guidebooks. There is a building with a gangi-style public space behind it, and the back of it was a lodging building and a hot spring. The room had a nice loft, but I personally thought it would be better without the loft because it would give a more open feeling. The customer service, food, and hot springs were just like Hoshino Resorts, and it was definitely a wonderful hot spring inn, including the comfort. My favorite spot is the room with the hearth. I left my room and entered this building in the public space. I was able to have oyaki, and I heard that warm sake will be served near dinner, so I stopped by again. It was fun to talk with the elderly person in charge, and after drinking more than an aperitif, we headed to the dinner venue.

I was looking for an inn to go skiing to the Hakuba area, and I decided to find this and stay here. １ only for a night, but I was thinking about check-in after skiing through the Net, but in the morning, I received a call from the inn for confirmation and the time of the rental open-air bath. Nice place for one night stay before going the alpen route, close to the nearest convenient store from the station(i.e. the closest one is 10min away from station XD) the staff is very nice, has warm water in toilet and washing area. The room has a kettle of hot water, tower, tooth brush set, and anything you need for a night, surprised that the kettle is still keeping the water hot drinking water after a whole night and I don't need to get the water again in the morning. sorry that the photo was taken in late night and may look a bit dark, it's better than it looks

Very near the train station and bus stop to catch the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine ( TKA) route bus. Sleeping arrangement is Japanese tatami style. so too is the shared bathroom. There is a shared kitchen where there is a fridge, microwave oven, two electric jugs, thermos flask, Pot for making Chinese tea, Chinese tea drinking cups. Not a bad place to stay if one wants to start the TKA route from Shino Omachi or to rest for the night after ending he TKA route.
