At check-in, the room, restaurant, hot spring bath, etc. will be explained. Toothbrush and razor have been changed to receive the necessary amount at the front desk after the corona vortex. (Room) 10-tatami Japanese-style room + wide veranda The room has been renovated for quite some time, so it's pretty tough for today's facilities. There is an empty refrigerator in the room that you can bring in. There are no bath towels in the public bath, so you need to bring them from your room. (Hot spring bath) Koyokan 1st floor The entire 2nd floor is the floor of the large communal bath. (Dinner and breakfast) Kaiseki-style set meals are served for each group at Jurakutei on tatami mats and chairs. But the selling point here is the 🍴 Miyagino restaurant buffet! ️ It's a completely different dimension from the buffets such as a certain O*to Onsen group and I*en group. Locally produced ingredients are served hot by the chef in front of you. Salt-grilled sweetfish and salt-grilled prawns are rarely seen at buffets. The quality of the steak meat, sashimi and sushi are of high quality as a buffet. If you are a person involved in a certain group that has a uniform nationwide catering service, we recommend that you check it out once. It is a conscientious inn with excellent cost performance

Stayed for 3 nights from October 11th. This was my second visit since March. The sulfur spring is top-quality and alkaline with a pH of 8.7. My favorite is the "Tama-no-yu" on the second floor. The room was a Japanese-Western style room in Aobakan. It was very convenient. There were two room keys, two washrooms, and two wicker baskets for the baths, and the hotel is very considerate of its guests. I get the impression that most of the guests are locals from Miyagi Prefecture. There are many repeat guests. There are only about one busload of tour guests. There are no foreigners, so the guests are well-mannered. Breakfast starts at 7am, so it would be nice if they could change it to rice balls or something for mountain climbing.

I headed there by rental car from Sendai Airport on March 25th. I arrived there in less than 2 hours using the expressway. A parking attendant was waiting in front of the entrance, so I dropped off my luggage and headed to the front desk. The front staff did a quick check-in. The room is a Japanese-Western style room on the 11th floor of Aobakan. The room faced east, and I could see the hot spring steam rising from the window, giving me a hot spring feeling. I immediately headed to try the famous Naruko hot spring. The public bath is located in Momijikan, and you need to walk about 60 meters along the connecting passage and change elevators. The large public baths for men and women were separated on the 1st and 2nd floors. The sulfur springs are my favorite and have an alkaline quality, so I was able to enjoy the real pleasure of Shifen Onsen. The food was served as a buffet and was very satisfying. We had Kaiseki at another venue called Juraku, and the portion was more than enough. The ankoro mochi, which is made in the live kitchen by the 90-year-old proprietress at breakfast, became my favorite so much that I ate it three days in a row. The second day was rainy, so we spent the day soaking in the hot springs. He brought me ``botamochi'' for a snack. I was impressed. The staff responded with a smile in all situations. It was a hotel where you could feel the spirit of hospitality everywhere. I can understand why there are many repeat customers. I have visited famous hot spring resorts all over the country, and Naruko Hotel ranks at the top in terms of overall strength.

First time at Naruko Onsen. To celebrate my 60th birthday, I took the plunge and booked a nicer room. The entrance to the hotel is quite a climb, and you might think it would be a struggle to get to the hot spring town, but the entrance is on the 5th floor, and if you take the elevator down to the 1st floor, you're already at the station and the hot spring town, so it's conveniently located. The hot spring smells like sulfur and is typical of a hot spring.It's not too hot, so you can enjoy a relaxing soak. It was also interesting to see the different colored hot water depending on the day. For dinner, we had local dishes such as Sendai beef, and we couldn't finish the last dish of ayu kamameshi. Breakfast was also full of Miyagi Prefecture-like dishes, including chestnut rice with too many chestnuts (I'm praising it), oysters, and soups such as zoni or mackerel soup. However, it's not enough for those who like Western food, the fruit is plain, and the desserts are almost the same - crème brûlée and pudding, so I think you'll be fine with either one. Also, the coffee was pretty weak, so I thought it would be better if it was a little stronger. However, I had a comfortable stay at the hot spring hotel and would like to stay there again.

The open-air bath while the snow was falling was very pleasant as my head was cold and my feet were warm.Even if I stayed in the bath for a long time, the hot water didn't touch me, so I was glad to stay warm for a long time.

2021 8.12 One night stay, room on the 10th floor. The hot spring is milky white to cloudy, and it's the best. We had a buffet-style meal. The variety of dishes ranged from steak to seafood, and I couldn't finish it all. I was satisfied with the taste and quality. Naruko Hotel is a buffet. I would like to come again. The only drawback is that the large public bath is far away. There is no parking lot in front of the hotel, so you have to check in and unload your luggage, and the staff will move it for you. It may be a hassle if you forget your luggage.
