Cleanliness, location, internet etc. all worked well and would merit a recommendation. Price to value would also have been good, if - and this is a big IF - it would have been possible to sleep well. To me that is the single most important part about a hotel stay. The arrival day was sunny and outdoor temperature close to 25C. Nice! However the temperature in the room was warmer (estimated to 25-30C). Not so nice. And due to lack of air-conditioning (either absent or not with sufficient capacity) the temperature stayed high. In any case we had no possibility to adjust the temperature by means of a thermostat or opening the window. Hope was given by the fact of an electrical fan which was provided. However the length of the cord and location of the electric outlets did not allow for it to be positioned to cool the beds when sleeping. The low quality sleep lead to a less pleasant visit to Oulu than expected. If you don't need fresh air to sleep and are temperature resilient this is otherwise a good deal.

Overall, this hotel is very good. The staff at the lobby desk are very considerate. I checked in too late on the first night and found that the washbasin in the bathroom was broken, which surprised me! The next day, we negotiated with Ctrip to change rooms. Although the breakfast was not very rich, it had a well-balanced mix of meat and vegetables. It was no problem to feel full. It was only a few minutes' walk to the city center!

A friend had booked a business room (price difference was not that high); this was spacious, nice in style and had a private sauna. Free coffee, tea and small pastries all day (self-made, not bought!).

Old fashioned hotel in the heart of Oulu and very near of the railway station. Did not startle. Had to wait staff when checked in :(. The room was ok, the bed comfortable and there were enough pillows. Maybe the cleaning woman was too short, because the upper shelf was dusty in the wardrobe. Nice bar. Breakfast ok, but the personnel (youngsters) did not bring the finished porridge soon enough to get any. The egg butter needed more butter, was difficult to spread over the Karelian pie. However, the variety of food met the satisfaction.

This studio was very clean, silent , nice neighborhood, everything you have in the apartment. Very good bathroom with good shower and warm floor. Everything was new and fresh. Very good beds and sheets. I recommend to everyone to rent this place. This is quality . My girlfriend @ Laura Felea rented this place and we loved it!
