Overall stay is pleasant even though there was some unhappiness when we arrived. Counter told us they did not receive my booking. It was a total surprise and shock. They tried calling Trip and told us they couldn't check us in. Imagine a total of 11 pax sitting at the lobby feeling tired but couldn't rest in their rooms. Finally they got the green light from trip. Breakfast was good. It was pre order so we just has to inform them what we want. The counter staff Rose was very helpful at the breakfast. My friend's room had a big spider on the wall but by the time the staff came it crawled into the aircon vent. Arghh quite scary actually... Despite all these it was a pleasant stay in Splendid hotel. The places of interest on our first day were near one other. Our last stop before the hotel was just 5 to 8 mins drive. However no 7-11 nearby but they have a vending machine for chips and other snacks. The rooms are spacious. Cleanliness acceptable. No stained bedsheets or dirty towels etc.

Lala Mukha is a very special experience. The hotel is well situated and well maintained. The tents are small but very cute and if you want to get close to nature, this is it. Some cheapskates might feel that ca. 100 usd for a tent is expensive, however you are paying for the experience and an experience it is. We saw a elephant at 6:15 in the morning right behind our tent (the people who thought we his place was expensive probably were asleep…). In any case it is worth it.

Stay for 1night with friend, First arrival, everything is busy and confused as I just knew that the area is vaccine center. Car parking for hotel is super busy, noone helps and guideline us for where we can park the car. By the way when I stepped in to reception, all staffs are super nice and helpful. Khun JIB reception, bellman and housekeeping make me impressed. Room is ok, AC is noise and low water pressure. It’s ok for 1night stay. Room is not friendly for senior and child person as you have to walk 5mins from reception.

The overall stay was great. Staffs at reception are outstanding and helpful - We did not receive welcome drink, we justed realized when we saw other guests went to have welcome drink at the restaurant. I was unsure that the welcome drink was about the room package ? There was no toilet paper on the first day - I did not inform reception, use facial paper instead. Housekeeper provided the toilet paper for us when make up the room. The restaurant was very good - I love the food and service.
