Kala Rooms

I would give 6 stars for the comfort of the location to visit the center of Palermo and all the best tourist points, it is at the beginning of the pedestrian course. Also the rooms are large, very clean and comfortable. I would give 2 stars for the parking. Ok, it's a problem for all the city of Sicilian, Palermo in primis, but write it and give assistance because it's really a business; last thing, some rooms are above the motion, so take some ears, I had them. The staff is very friendly and available. Breakfast in the front bakery bar is nothing missing and it's all good. However, if I return to Palermo I would certainly return to sleep here
Hotel Porta Felice & Spa

Very good value for money, very suitable for travel. Not far from the attractions, sleeping quiet at night, walking more than 20 minutes from the train station. The beds and bathrooms are just fine, and I will live next time.
Palazzo Sitano

Positives: The location is fantastic. Friendly staff. Breakfast was quite nice although the cakes tasted a bit old. Good Aircon. Clean. Negatives: It was very noisy and my husband didn't get a lot of sleep. Plug sockets are difficult to work out. Lighting was bad - super dark - they only used lamps to light the room which we found strange. No chairs on balcony. Would have rated better if it wasn't advertised as a four star. We did not feel that the hotel lived up to the standards of other four star hotels.
B&B Cala Peppa

Located a few streets away from the busy market, at night it’s quiet but in the day it’s close to the shops and marina. Recently renovated, it’s modern and clean throughout. If you have mobility issues, the B&b is spread across 2/3 floors up steep stairs. We stayed in the suite (top floor) with the roof terrace. Wonderful view and the roof terrace was a great retreat from the busy centre. Despite being 3 flights of stairs up, the room was great. Comfy beds, towels and shower gel provided. Breakfast consisted of croissants, bread, salami, cheese, yoghurts, cereal and fruit. A good choice and the croissants were fresh. Our return flight was late so we asked to leave our luggage in the B&b for our final day and nothing was too much trouble, appreciated them holding it as it meant we didn’t need to drag around Palermo all day! If we return to palermo in the future, I would book this B&b again without hesitation. We walked from the train station, took around 20 mins across the cobbled streets with luggage but was a nice way to explore. Train from airport to palermo centrale was €5.90 each way, a train every hour and significantly cheaper than a taxi/coach transfer
