GGuest UserStaying for two nights was so relaxing! The lakeside hot spring tickets for two: Soaking in the hot springs at night was very atmospheric. We prepared our swimsuits beforehand; the hot springs have changing rooms, but we changed in our room, put on our robes, and headed over. Each hot spring had a water temperature display, and there were mugwort, carnation, and traditional Chinese medicine pools. After soaking for a while, we felt so comfortable, slightly sweaty, and warm all over. You should definitely try the hotel's casserole fish head. Our butler service was very warm and attentive. I personally think the hotel breakfast is on par with a five-star hotel. While it doesn't have as much variety as a five-star, it has everything you need. The room facilities are a bit dated. We went to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. The package with a meal was the most cost-effective. A shuttle bus takes you to the entrance. You walk a bit, then take a one-way mini-train. You can either take the cable car to the mountaintop first or the ground cable car to the panda house first. Both the cable car and ground cable car tickets are round trip. If you're tired on the way back, just buy a one-way mini-train ticket. If you still have energy, you can walk, and you'll pass by the Little Goose Park to watch a show. The whole trip took about 4 hours. After leaving, we ate the meal included in the package – you can choose between a hot pot restaurant or a fish head restaurant. We chose hot pot, and the two pots were more than enough for two people. Parking was 15 for one visit.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, nestled among green mountains and overlooking the shimmering Tianmu Lake, giving it a tranquil and comfortable ambiance. It truly is a great spot for relaxation and wellness. We booked a Deluxe Lake View Room, and the hotel even upgraded us for free to a Luxury Lake View Room. The hotel also offers a variety of fun amenities for children, making it perfect for families with kids. What's even more appealing to visitors is the Cloud Top Observation Deck, which offers panoramic views of Tianmu Lake's beautiful scenery, with lush mountains and clear waters as far as the eye can see – truly a feast for the eyes. It's worth mentioning that the breakfast restaurant is grand and situated right by Tianmu Lake. You can enjoy your breakfast while taking in the stunning lake and mountain views, which really enhances your appetite. The Chinese restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious dishes, with plenty of choices, and the prices are quite reasonable. However, there was one minor disappointment: we wanted to rent the electric scooter with a sidecar located at the entrance of the children's playground. After a series of complicated scanning procedures, the screen displayed that we were over 65 years old and denied us use. How wonderful it would have been to explore the beautiful scenery around the hotel on that electric scooter with a sidecar! We had no problems driving 260 kilometers from Shanghai to the hotel ourselves! We understand that the hotel's concern for the safety of older guests is valid, so we suggest that it would be more accommodating to allow older individuals with a valid driver's license to use it. Overall, this hotel is still very good. We will definitely choose this hotel again when we visit Tianmu Lake in the future.

GGuest UserWe booked a private family room, and the housekeeper, Ms. Zhou, checked us in and took us to the guest room. The room has a large bed and a small bed. The bathing pool is in the yard. If you need to soak in the hot spring, just tell Ms. Zhou and she will happily come over and help fill the hot spring water. She is a very nice person. I really like her. No. I had to go to the public hot springs to soak with others, it was very comfortable. I also went to Nanshan Bamboo Sea. The air was very good. I had a very good accommodation experience this time. I will go there often in the future!

GGuest UserFood: Breakfast was varied, with western，asian and local. We had Dinner at the main buiding using ******* set menu and it was a good deal, as the 2 person deal is enough to feed 4 and tasted quite delicious. Location: it is a resort so you are going to spend most of the time on the resort ground. We booked 3 day 2 night and the time was enough to explore everything. Nice scenery. Amenities: only a few activities were covered in our package so it will depend on your package. The package was confusing and we didnt know exactly all the activities that were free or cost extra. The reception on check in should have explained all of this upon check in, but maybe they are not trained, or maybe because our accomadation at pinecone is considered 4 star so they used lower quality staff. All the free stuff are a bit lame and service was poor except for the craft lady who actually showed us a wechat app for the hotel where free activity voucher can be found. They outsourced the activity area so that is really poor decision as it hurts the brand image due to service levels. For hotel staff, thumbs up to the shuttle ladies, who you call to get from one place to another. They are prompt and speedy. Service: check in staff was professional but not warm. As mentioned, the activity area is outsourced so most staff are cold and seemed rude, except for the craft lady who was actually decent. But considering this resort and the type of guest, i would consider this really bad. Cleaniness: the room is very clean, a bit worn (see pics of wall), but it feels quite clean.

Facilities: All hotels in the scenic area have to park to the hotel's dedicated parking lot to the hotel center after check-in and then take the shuttle bus to the hotel, the whole process is slightly inconvenient. However, the hotel is the best location in the scenic area. It is very convenient to watch the performance and visit the scenic area. It takes a few minutes to walk to the core area. Hotel facilities should have some, live very comfortable, that is, the wooden structure is not very soundproof, if you are not lucky, the next door is noisy, it will be uncomfortable. Hygienic: The room is good, clean and tidy, and there is no problem with public area hygiene. Environment: The hotel environment is very good, the building and the scenic spot are very good, there is a more atmosphere, the hotel location is quiet, although it is very close to the core area of the scenic spot, but it will not feel noisy in the hotel. SSumaaaa._I absolutely loved the stay, i have stayed in multiple hotels all around China including Shanghai, Chengdu, Beijing, Chongqing and etc, but by far this hotel had the MOST comfiest bed. It felt like laying on a cloud. I actually booked a queen room with the bathtub in the picture and when I checked in, they told me that after renovation they only have a bathtub in the family room. We were okay with it but in a few minutes a staff came and showed us to our new room with a bathtub. They were very friendly, accommodating and understanding. Not to mention the room being super spacious, having a huge mirror, having a tv and an electronic toilet. The amenities were amazing. Likewise, the interior of the room was beautiful. The location is also amazing, there are many malls just outside including huge malls with international brands. The location is prime. This is by far my favourite hotel I have stayed in China and will stay there again!! Cant wait to go back

SSumaaaa._One of the lady at the reception was a bit rude. I asked her what the shipping address is of the hotel for online shopping and she did not understand even with translator app which is not an issue at all. She thought we were trying to book a room. I guess she was unaware that we were already checked in and that we were guests because when we gave up and headed to the elevator to go to the room, she yelled at us and followed us and said something sternly. I then showed her the room card and she took it to inspect it, then returned it and said okay. It was one of the most unpleasant experiences with a hotel staff compared to all the other hotels I have stayed in, including Chinese hotels.

GGuest UserThe hotel is newly opened, very clean and tidy inside, the whole house is intelligent, you can control the air conditioner, TV, curtains, lights by calling Xiaodu Xiaodu, it is very modern, and there is also a smart toilet, which is very surprising. The front desk lady is also very enthusiastic, and she also helped me make an appointment for free airport transfer. The front desk lady said that free pick-up and drop-off are available 24 hours a day. I will stay here again next time I go on a business trip.
