I traveled alone with my 3 year old daughter and we had a fantastic stay! The owner was very kind to upgrade us to the largest king size bed room which was very spacious for my kid to run around. Unfortunately she didn’t realize we booked 2 nights and made us move the second night but still gave us an upgraded room! She made up for it by helping me move and watch my child while I settled into the second room. She and the restaurant chef were so kind with allowing us to eat a late breakfast because my child was too tired and could not wake up in time before breakfast ended. The chef made us a delicious fried rice with some tomato/eggs and hot Mongolian milk te which was the best meal we’ve had in Inner Mongolia because we are tired of eating lamb. Everyone treated us so well and loved my outgoing daughter. We sang karaoke at night and my daughter sat on the swings and ran around in the courtyard playing. I loved that the light to the AC turns off when the room lights turn off but the AC is still working. It makes sleep so much better to not have a light shining on you. The rooms are very new and there’s lots of cabinet space. Parking is available. Bottled water, slippers, shampoos/body wash are all provided. We also got free tickets to the grassland which we unfortunately could not make it to but appreciated. Thank you to the owner and the staff for making our stay so comfortable! We will definitely come back and stay again!

I stayed here as part of my 20 day road trip across the forests of Northern Heilongjian and the white hills of Inner Mongolia. After driving north from A'ershan to New Barag Youqi to see stand on the southern bank of Hulun Hu, I drove up to Manzhouli to stand on the lakes northern bank and watch the sunset. I had no idea what to expect from Manzhouli and so I booked 3 nights. I also enjoyed the Russian ethnic minority food, milk tea and bought some gifts in town. I ended up deciding to move on up north to Erguna via the G331 a couple of days early. Though I cut the stay short, I thought the hotel was great. It's in the high rise building and is eay to find. The welcome at reception was nice and friendly. I was given everything I needed and shown a much larger room than I booked. The rooms possibly the largest I have come across since living in China. The design is nice, warm, and bright. It came across as a studio alarment that was just missing a kitchen. The Auntie gave me some magnets as I was leaving and I appreciate that a lot. I highly recommend this place if you need a quiet, apartment like stay in the city. If you enjoy Russian food, or from Europe and missing home, there are plenty of Russian restaurants serving real bread, meat, potatoes and Russian beer.

Absolutely thrilled with my stay, it completely exceeded my expectations! The accommodation experience was fantastic, and it made my entire trip so enjoyable. When I arrived, it was pouring rain, and I was a bit bummed, thinking I wouldn't be able to see anything. But then, shortly after I dropped off my luggage, the weather cleared up, and I was incredibly lucky to see a huge rainbow! In the evening, I got to witness the spectacular sunset I'd hoped for. Standing on the hillside, I could see the entire grassland and yurts bathed in a pink glow – it was absolutely breathtaking, photos don't do it a millionth of justice. The next day, the weather was beautiful. I woke up at 4 AM to catch the hazy sunrise, and when I pulled back the curtains, there was nothing but endless grassland and blue skies with white clouds. The accommodation itself was incredibly comfortable! The yurt was well-equipped and spotlessly clean inside. The bedding was soft and cozy, and the hot water, air conditioning, lighting, and toiletries were all excellent. Yesterday, there were seven-force winds, and I thought the yurt wouldn't hold up, but it was super sturdy! As for bugs, I didn't see a single one in the yurt yesterday. As long as you keep the mosquito net at the entrance closed, it should significantly reduce their appearance. Finally, the service from the staff was so warm and thoughtful. The sister who hosted us was genuinely friendly and down-to-earth. She proactively told us about the local ethnic culture, and for breakfast, she even prepared local specialty dishes – so meticulous and considerate. This time, I also got to try on Mongolian robes for free, and there were so many beautiful options to choose from. If I didn't have to go back to work, I would definitely stay for a week. In short, I highly recommend everyone to come and experience it!

Facilities: The facilities are very complete and female-friendly. There are disposable face masks, makeup remover, and even children's hair clips and ties – many small surprises! Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: The room felt like a small suite, very spacious. Breakfast was also good. Service: Everyone, from the front desk staff to the security guards downstairs and the airport transfer service, was very friendly. Airport shuttle service (8:00 AM - 6:00 PM): I have to commend the airport drop-off service. We had originally scheduled a 9 AM departure for the airport but thought it was too early and canceled. The driver actually came back specifically to pick us up again! He chatted with us and gave us recommendations along the way, and his attitude was extremely friendly. My parents, who I was traveling with, kept praising him. It was a very satisfying experience.

I found this guesthouse as I was driving up the G331 from Erguna to Beijicun as part of my 2 0 day road trip loop from the northernmost part of China to A'ershan and back. Mo'edaogazhen is a very small, quiet town and I was the only guest in this guesthouse. I got a friendly welcome when I arrived by the Auntie and Uncle. I was welcomed to my room and got settled in. As an Englishman, I had to go down to the police station and then to another hotel to have my location registered - a Chinese Government requirement. The boss jumped in the car and saw me get it sorted nice and smoothly with no hassle. The room was nice and comfy and in the traditional wooden style which suited my trip well. A couple of improvements would be to make sure the room has a kettle on arrival and that the shower won't flood for other guests. But no harm done, I slept well and enjoyed plenty of Gongfu tea sessions. As I left, the Auntie/Sister gave me two Russian pastries which I was very appreciative of. Things like this leave a lasting impression, especially for us foreign travellers. I ended up driving from Erguna to Beijicun via the G331 - the most isolated section in the nation - and these pastries saw me through the journey well. Thank you both and Happy Chinese New Year!

This is my second time here. The environment is great, perfect for taking photos. The front desk staff are super enthusiastic, and even the cleaning aunties greet you warmly when you see them. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hailar!

Over 20 years ago, when I first visited Inner Mongolia, even the so-called best yurts were just grassy husks and cowflies swirling around when the tap was turned on. Now, with a child, choosing accommodation is still not easy. I wanted to stay on the grasslands, but the larger campsites were too crowded with all sorts of guests, and the noisy bonfire parties and clubbing were simply not to my taste. After much searching, I finally found this place. It's small, perched on a hillside near a village, with a view of pastureland. After checking in, I found the landlady was truly attentive: free freshly ground coffee, a separate wet and dry bathroom, soft beds (surprisingly the most comfortable in our five nights in Inner Mongolia), thick, absorbent towels, a heated smart toilet… The horse riding area she recommended was also very reliable, reasonably priced, safe, and legitimate. After riding, it rained, so we didn't go out and ate barbecue at the hotel. The meat was fresh, and my husband wanted cold noodles, so the landlady even went out to buy the ingredients—corn and perilla leaves, all freshly picked from the field. I'd been lamenting that I'd missed the sunset at Heishantou, but then, while eating, I looked up and saw a fiery sunset (there's a hillside nearby; it must be even more beautiful up there). I've always felt that tourism development in Inner Mongolia is quite challenging. The peak season is very short each year, prices are high, and the quality of cultural activities varies greatly. Shops cater to all sorts of customers, and dealing with difficult or even obnoxious guests can be incredibly frustrating. If guesthouses could all be run with the same care and hospitality as this lady, I believe things would be much better.

The girl at the front desk was a warm Sichuan sister. We arrived at Hailar at 9 o'clock in the evening. She called and let us drive slowly. She sent WeChat to let us be careful about animals on the road. Woodcuts are full of exotic customs, which makes our eyes shine and very excited. Woodcuts are a common problem, and tourists who are too concerned should avoid them so that everyone is not comfortable. Those who like woodcut must experience this style of house, especially those who like to take pictures, which is very popular. Behind the room, a river flows slowly and is beautiful. There are also yurts on the pasture, and those who like yurts can have other choices. The next day I saw the owner, a very connotation boy, gentle and Jiangnan man's shadow, but unlike the man hunting wind on the grassland. Because the horse of the pasture was to be shipped out for wild ride the next day, but the owner still specially left some horses, and we were not transported until we finished riding. The simplicity of the Mongolians was visible.

The hotel experience is great! The room is spacious and bright, the mattress is very comfortable, the bathroom facilities are complete, and the service is warm and thoughtful. The key is that the whole house is smart, the experience is full, and it makes people feel good. It is near the square and there are many snacks around, which is very convenient!

The receptionist lady at the hotel was very friendly, kind, and welcoming. The hotel is located in a very convenient area in the city center, which was a great advantage. However, the cleanliness of the bathroom was not satisfactory. The hotel did not provide enough bottled drinking water according to the number of guests staying in the room. I believe it is important to provide clean bottled water based on the number of guests and beds in the room. This does not cost much for the hotel, but for tired travelers who have been on a long journey, it is a small but valuable comfort. There were also no porcelain cups available for drinking tea in the room. In addition, some foreign guests were talking loudly, coming in and out of the hotel, and making a lot of noise until around 2 a.m. This made our stay uncomfortable and disturbed our rest. We had traveled a long distance and were extremely tired, so we decided to overlook these issues and requested to extend our stay for one more night at the same hotel to get some rest. However, the hotel increased the room price, which was disappointing. Furthermore, although the agreed check-out time was 2:00 p.m., we were asked to leave after 12:30 p.m. As a result, we could not finish our lunch and had to check out at around 1:30 p.m. We hope the hotel can pay more attention to respecting the agreed check-out time and providing better service for guests in the future. I sincerely hope the hotel management will pay more attention to these issues and work on improving the quality of service for future guests. Wishing your hotel continued success.
