This hotel, built on the former site of Yida Silk Factory, is a sight to behold in itself. Tucked away in the heart of the town, it offers a serene and beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle. With the help of our lovely butler, check-in and check-out were incredibly smooth. Following video instructions, we arrived at the Wuzhen parking garage where our butler was already waiting for us, instantly easing any apprehension about visiting a new place for the first time. After entering the scenic area, we took a boat through the entirety of Wuzhen to reach the hotel, truly experiencing the unique charm of a Jiangnan water town from the water. The hotel's butler service truly lives up to its name; unlike many hotels with WeChat concierges who are often slow to respond, every request here was met with an immediate and efficient reply, which was incredibly warm and thoughtful. All in all, I highly recommend Yida as a five-star hotel in Wuzhen. It was definitely the highlight of our perfect trip to Wuzhen! My only regret is not asking for the name of our young, enthusiastic, and very helpful butler. I wish her all the best!

For our two-night stay in Wuzhen, we chose 'Jintang'. Upon arrival at the scenic area, we were greeted by the handsome and steady 'Xiao Fan' at the entrance. He arranged a sculling boat for us, which took us along the waterway directly to Jintang. Pushing open the two-story antique wooden doors, we were met with a striking combination of vermillion and emerald green. It was a perfect blend of the ancient and the modern. As I savored a cup of crimson hibiscus tea, Xiao Fan had already completed our check-in. He also set up our facial recognition for entering and exiting the scenic area. Xiao Fan then led us through the hall and around the landscape to our room. The room featured dark green wallpaper adorned with plum blossoms, complementing a vermillion bronze bed. With the tea snacks and afternoon tea on the table, accompanied by refreshing green tea, our three-day Wuzhen journey officially began. A big thank you to the thoughtful service from the lovely ladies and gentlemen at Jintang, and especially to Xiao Fan!

Guest UserThis review is long overdue! During the May Day holiday, a friend recommended Hualuxe for a trip with the kids, raving about the delicious food and excellent service. I didn't expect it to exceed my expectations so much—it was full of delightful surprises and an amazing experience!
First, let's talk about the service. It's genuinely the best service I've ever encountered at this price point. Andy thoughtfully sent me tips before check-in, and they tried their best to accommodate any requests. The pre-check-in experience alone was already perfect. After checking in, whenever a staff member downstairs saw me carrying something, they'd proactively ask if I needed help. It truly felt like a home away from home! The biggest highlight, though, has to be their breakfast! It was absolutely fantastic – a huge variety, and everything was delicious. Even the fruit juice was freshly squeezed, and the coffee was incredibly good, easily on par with what you'd buy outside. I've been back in Shanghai for a while now, and I still crave their breakfast! I loved it so much; I'll definitely go back if I get the chance!

Jeremiah AYHighly recommended for a relaxed, VIP experience in Wuzhen! We stayed for 1 night at the Wuzhen Club House (Sheng Ting) and had a great experience.
1. Cleanliness: Very good, especially considering it's a refurbished old heritage building with traditional wooden furniture. Everything was well-maintained and spotless.
2. Amenities & Food: The room amenities are basic for the same reason, but completely sufficient for a simple, comfortable stay. The included breakfast was a pleasant surprise—quite a large spread of delicious local specialties.
3. Location: Fantastic. It sits right near the middle of the West Scenic Area (Xi Zha), making it the perfect base for exploring. The best part of staying inside the scenic area is that the late nights and early mornings are incredibly quiet, which is perfect for crowd-free photo taking.
4. Service: Absolutely outstanding, you really get VIP treatment. The hotel reached out to us before our stay to provide arrival info and set up a group chat to keep in touch. Our assigned housekeeper, Xiao Chen, met us right at the car drop-off point and guided us all the way to the hotel. He took care of everything—arranging our breakfast, ensuring our room was in order, and attending to our every need. He also gave us a great overview of the scenic area, recommended local food options, made restaurant reservations for us, and even walked us right to the departure point when we checked out.
Highly recommend booking a stay here to experience Wuzhen at a relaxed pace with VIP treatment. It is especially great if you are traveling with kids, as you can easily return to the room multiple times throughout the day to rest and decompress.

The service was exceptional, from being picked up at the parking lot to the smooth check-in process at the hotel. After check-out, we were also driven back to the parking lot. The hotel is quiet and elegant, and the rooms are very spacious. Most other hotels within the scenic area are quite small, so I chose this one and wasn't disappointed. We could see the tributary from the balcony, and my child even chatted with the old man cleaning the river. Overall, the stay was fantastic. The only issue was the sticky, squeaking sound the disposable slippers made on the tiled floor, especially at night, which disturbed my family's sleep. I'm not sure if it was the slippers or the floor, perhaps the floor cleaner wasn't rinsed properly. Also, the morning dim sum experience was just average; there wasn't much good food, and it was hard to find a seat. I assume the hotel's breakfast would have been better.

I was very satisfied with my stay. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast offered a rich variety of options. Some of the chefs also spoke English, which was a plus. It would be even better if the menu for dishes and drinks included English translations. The hotel's proximity to the high-speed rail station made getting around incredibly convenient.

The room was incredibly clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Even though it's in a water town, there was no dampness at all. If you have elderly people or children, there's a shuttle service for pick-up and drop-off, which was really convenient for the kids to come back for their naps. The front desk staff were very attentive and provided excellent service. It truly lives up to the saying 'you get what you pay for' – definitely worth it!

The hotel is conveniently located near the Yaohan business district, with a riverside green belt right downstairs. It's also easy to access the expressway for trips to Puyuan and the South Station.
The hotel rooms and hallways are quite spacious, and the soundproofing is good. Our room faced the interior, and although there were many AC units on the podium, we barely heard anything once the windows were closed. Even the sound of doors opening and closing in the hallway in the morning wasn't very noticeable.
In terms of facilities, the two 1.5-meter beds are generally suitable for families traveling with older children. As it's a Four Points, it has all the essential amenities, but they are a more basic version.
The male staff member in the blue suit in the lobby was very enthusiastic. When the young lady at the front desk wasn't sure about the location of the Zicheng historical site and Nanhu Lake, he overheard and proactively came over to provide more details. Thumbs up!👍🏻

Guest UserFirst time in Wuzhen, and I must commend the management here, especially staying at Zheshui Hotel. It felt like coming home. The staff provided one-on-one group chat service, patiently explaining every step of the process. Although the hotel facilities aren't brand new, they are clean and tidy. The bedding is comfortable, and the toiletries are excellent. Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety and good taste. Next time I visit Wuzhen, I'll definitely choose Zheshui Hotel again. Its central location within the scenic area is also a big plus, making it very convenient to access attractions and explore.
