GGuest UserI had an exceptional stay at Discovery Primea in Makati. The service was consistently warm, attentive, and professional, making me feel genuinely cared for throughout my visit. Every staff member went above and beyond to anticipate needs and create a welcoming atmosphere. The dining experience was equally impressive—each dish was thoughtfully prepared, full of flavor, and presented with elegance. From breakfast to dinner, the quality and variety of the food were truly outstanding. This combination of excellent hospitality and memorable cuisine makes Discovery Primea a standout choice in Manila.

JJulia031089I just fell in love with this hotel because it’s SO CLEAN! Seriously, it’s a 5-star cleanliness. From the basement parking to the rooftop pool, everything is sparkling clean. I do love it. There was almost everything we needed in the room and in the bathroom, even vanity kits and facial tissues which is not common for 3-star hotels (I would honestly give them 4 stars🤩) Service… we did have an issue with a waiter at the breakfast in Kaokee restaurant downstairs. I wish they gave him more training time and supervision cause he looked like he was not a good fit for this resto and the hotel. If he continues to work this way, there’s just gonna be a lot of bad reviews and disappointed customers. Other than this, everyone else is super friendly, accommodating and welcoming there. Do note that the parking is NOT free. We paid 400 pesos for around 24 hours. I guess it’s gonna be more if you stay longer. Also, if I stay there again, I would choose no breakfast option cause I’m a fan of Malaysian/Singaporean breakfast (Kaya toast with eggs and milk tea) but it doesn’t come with your booking, they have a separate menu for hotel guests (Filipino/kinda continental options) but Kaokee resto is one of my faves now in Makati, the food is super delicious, reminds me of our trips to Malaysia and Singapore🤩 I would just pay for my breakfast next time and choose what I really want. I would also recommend their Laksa and Salted Egg Shrimps, and both hot and iced Teh (milk tea with condensed milk), the hot one is more flavorful and delicious than the iced one. But my Mushroom and Cheese omelette was super delicious too! So was my spouse’s Longanisa. There’s one more resto you can have breakfast in, so do check the menu there. Their rooftop pool is quite shallow but it felt good to soak there under the sun surrounded by the Makati skyline. It was our staycation and it really worked out cause we felt like tourists in our own city🤩 Thanks to the staff who made it happen despite some disappointing times at the breakfast. Hope it will never happen again

AAnonymous UserWe had a great experience during our stay. The room was very spacious and comforting, which made it easy to relax. The hotel itself wasn’t crowded, so it felt peaceful throughout our visit. One of the highlights was the pool – very clean and well-maintained. The location is also very convenient, close to everything we needed. The only downside was that the TV in the room wasn’t a smart TV. It would be great if the hotel considers upgrading this in the future to enhance the in-room entertainment experience. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay – would definitely return!

AA-DUpon arrival, the security guard assisted us with our luggage, but no one offered further help until we reached the check-in area or when sending us up to our room. The check-in process was smooth, and we went straight to our room. As we walked through the corridor, there was a strange smell, but we chose to ignore it. The room itself was spacious and had everything we needed. However, cleanliness was an issue. There were stains on the bathroom floor, the non-slip mat was not very clean, and there was some dust around the room. We overlooked these at first. When it was time to sleep, the pillows had an unpleasant odor, which made me uncomfortable. They didn’t smell fresh, more like dust. Since it was late and my kids were exhausted, my husband simply covered the pillow with his clean shirt so we could rest. The next morning, I noticed stains on the bed sheets that were clearly not ours. They looked permanent, so I requested housekeeping. The towels also appeared old, no longer white, and while some of the extra towels we requested were acceptable, others were worn out. Parking was limited, with only a few slots available. Staff informed us that if the lot was full, we would need to pay for parking. When we returned to our room later, I was disappointed to find that the bed sheets still had the same stains. Housekeeping had only changed the pillowcases. Overall, the property itself was nice, but cleanliness needs significant improvement. For example, the brown stains in the bathroom should be addressed, the bathroom mat replaced, and the tissue box cleaned, it was black with visible dust and stains. On a positive note, the air-conditioning filter was clean, which I appreciated, as my previous stay elsewhere had been terrible in that regard. I’m not sure if I would stay here again. The only highlight was the staff, who were very accommodating and kind.

DDaisy Yong NCMy recent stay at the property was extremely disappointing and troublesome. During my stay, the electricity was cut from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and there was no proper communication from either the management or the owner regarding this. Thankfully, Trip.com assisted me in handling the issue, but the coordination from the property itself was very poor. Each room seems to be in a different condition. Although the room I stayed in this time was slightly better than the one I had previously, the overall experience still did not match the price I paid. I stayed for 7 nights because I had personally disinfected the entire room and preferred to remain there. However, I was still forced to change rooms, which caused a lot of inconvenience. What was most unacceptable was the number of cockroaches in the room, despite being on the 23rd floor. I have no idea how they appeared. But bed sheet and pillows are acceptable in the room.

AAnonymous UserWorth the price. Walking distance to Samsung Performing Arts, Ayala Malls Circuit Makati, VFS, Shopwise. They provided toiletries and towels. There's refrigerator and microwave in the room. Loved the separate shower (with heater) and toilet. Easy check-in and check out. They didn't ask for a deposit, but only 1 valid ID. Daily guests can also use common pantry where you can use a bigger refrigerator, microwave, induction cooker. You can also refill water for free.

GGuest UserI booked a Deluxe Studio Room, and based from the description it has a kitchen and kitchenwear. Unfortunately, upon seeing the room there is not kitchen and kitchen wears just like it said on the description, we called the reception in the room and they said that this type of room has no kichen. Though they apologized, they said that there will be a room upgrade charge which sucks and disappointed since we had high expectations based from the description but overall the room is nice and clean and had the best view but sadlly no kitchen. WE ALSO HAD THE WORST CHECKOUT!!! upon checkout we clarified about the parking voucher so that the fees are waved since ascott shares the parking of Glorietta 4, the woman in the checkout counter said that the voucher given to us upon entry is already good, but upon exit at the parking the lady in the cashier said its not yet validaded and we caused traffic jam and spent 10minutes waiting which is very inconvinient and disapointing since we will travel 2 hours back to our home. Overall, i love this hotel because of the hospitality of the people and its best location located at the center of Makati's most popular malls. But this hotel needs improvement on ther front desk checkout service (for their misinformation) and sales and marketing (for their wrong description in the third party website)

AAngel MilevThis was undoubtedly the best service we’ve experienced from staff in the Philippines during our six years here, and we travel frequently. The reception team was the kindest and most knowledgeable we’ve encountered, and the restaurant staff during breakfast was equally impressive. Kudos to the manager for clearly prioritizing excellent staff training at the hotel! Hotel's amenieties are also exceptional - excellent, spacious rooms (studio type) even with a kitchenette; the swimming pool - really good for swimming, not the typical decorative stuff type; roof top bar with an excellent view; breakfast was nice with plenty of choices. However, we weren’t particularly fond of the surrounding area, which is dominated by pubs, bars, and related establishments. While this is beyond the hotel’s control, it makes the location less suitable for family travelers—a matter that falls under city management’s responsibility. Restaurants in the hotel need to work on the meals choices they offer. That said, the location is quite convenient, being just a 20-25 minute walk from Greenbelt, Manila’s most modern district.
